A lot of Christians are saddened by the fact that there is no pillar on the horizon in America who represents our values. I am not impressed with any candidate on either side of the aisle. Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) was a lot of things, and a Christian was surely not one of them. He did, however, have an uncanny ability to determine the zeitgeist of the day, and was a great connoisseur of human nature. Prince
When celebrities pass on, big headlines are the outcome. When war veterans waste away because our government fails to provide them medical care, no one knows. I am glad that the Lord’s justice will not sleep forever. As a baby boomer, I can relate to 1960’s and 1970’s heavy metal music. I remember Jimi Hendrix, and I interpreted Prince as a more refined version of Hendrix. Since 1980, I have no desire to listen to that kind of music because of my salvation and God giving me a new heart. (II Corinthians 5:17) I read a couple things about Prince since his death that shocked my socks off. Prince was seen as a bigoted homophobe by the liberal entertainment industry. He went so far (read article below) as to suggest the Lord destroyed the entire world by the flood of Noah because of fallen man’s wickedness and sin! My, even many professing Christians do not believe the story of the flood in Genesis 6-8. I know Christians who have not nor will not warn their friends or family about God’s wrath and judgment of sin. The sin of sodomy is what the Lord calls an abomination (Leviticus 18:22, KJV). This sin received special treatment in ancient times, as fire and brimstone devoured and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Please, please, please do not tell me that you love your gay friends when you fail to warn them of God’s judgment. Fellow believers often become angry at me because of what I teach, preach and write. That is fine. I do not want to be silent when the Lord tells me to warn the ungodly about His wrath to come. Prince may have struggled with this issue himself, but I respect him for his honesty and his trust in the Word of God.
What truly saddens me about Prince was not his worldly lifestyle, nor his abusive use of pain killers that may have led to his death. What hurts is that he was a Jehovah’s Witness for about the last fifteen years of his life unto the day he died. That cult does not believe in Christ’s deity and His equality with the Father. They deny the Trinity, the reality of hell, and they are false prophets, having failed to predict Armageddon on more than one occasion. Their ideas and bizarre beliefs are based on the teachings of Charles Taze Russell and Judge Rutherford. They use to be called the Russellites. They rewrote the Bible into what they call the New World Translation (NWT), carefully stripping out every mention and reference to Christ’s godhead. They would deny a loved one a blood transfusion and let them die. If Prince was convicted of sin, maybe the reality of how God gave His life for him would have been readily received. It saddens me greatly that he belonged to the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Prince, the rock icon whose sudden death at age 57 last week left the music industry reeling, followed his own drumbeat in his lyrics, music and lifestyle.
He also, apparently, took a narrow path in the entertainment industry on the issue of homosexuality.
Because while Bruce Springsteen and others have decided to deprive North Carolina fans of concerts because of the state’s law protecting women and girls from men in public restrooms, Prince insisted the Bible condemned homosexual behavior, and he concurred.
Music News, Paul Resnikoff concluded Prince “was a gay-bashing homophobe.”
“Prince was a fearless innovator, and known for challenging societal boundaries and gender definitions,” Resnikoff wrote. “But maybe he wasn’t so comfortable with his sexuality, after all.”

He cited a 2008 interview by Claire Hoffman in the New Yorker that reported Prince’s social views.
“When asked about his perspective on social issues – gay marriage, abortion – Prince tapped his Bible and said, ‘God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough,’” the reporter quoted him saying.

The Vatican is leading our planet into one of the greatest periods of deception in the history of mankind. Christians should not be surprised because Jesus warned us. Matthew 24 covers this theme. Jesus’ first warning in this chapter is: “Watch out that no one deceives you. Many would come in My name and claim that I am the Christ. Many will be deceived. If it were possible, they would deceive even the very elect.” The characteristic of this time is it is a period of great massive deceit.

Deceptions From The Vatican:
1)Visions of Mary There are apparitions of the Virgin Mary all over the planet. Thousands of people claim to see the glowing Virgin Mary, hear her voice, they experience healing from Mary, and claim that the “Queen of Heaven” transcends human description. II Corinthians 11:14 “Even Satan can transform himself into an angel of light.” These sightings are demonic. Mary claims to be the intermediary between man and God. (I Timothy 2:5) Mary claims to be the Advocate, sent to the world by the Father and the Son. Jesus is our Advocate. (I John 2:1) Mary claims she came to save the world, yet John 3:16 plainly refutes this. Mary claims she can save us from the wrath to come. Jesus saves us, not Mary. (I Thessalonians 5:9) Mary claims she is the ark of peace, salvation, and entering heaven. John 14:6 refutes this apostasy. People who are Biblically illiterate fall for this apostasy. These apparitions are not Mary, they are demons, false signs and wonders. Jesus warned us about false Christs, saying many would come in my name.
2)Visions of UFOs They are demons, and once again they are supported by the Vatican. The Vatican is searching for ETs and alien life. The Vatican Observatory Research Group (VORG) heads these operations. They are searching for ETs with the most powerful telescopes in the world. Why is the Vatican searching for ETs? They believe aliens are going to be our new saviors and messiahs who will save our planet from the calamities to come! The Vatican believes that ETs have not fallen into sin, and we must listen to them and not the Bible. The Gospel will have to be thrown out. Catholic priests say they will baptize aliens, because no matter how many tentacles they have, they still have a soul. They claim the aliens are the Biblical angels, and that we fell but they did not. Pope Francis said that he too would baptize an alien. The Vatican is claiming Jesus was an alien, and that the virgin birth was part of an abduction. Jesus was a “star child.” More people in America today believe in aliens than they do in God! Read Matthew 24:4-5. Pope Francis, the Vatican and Catholicism are ready to receive the aliens. This is all happening today. These lies would deceive the entire planet and explain away the rapture of the church just like that! What happened to those people? They were taken away temporarily by aliens, and will be prepared for the utopia that is coming to the earth, and will rejoin us later.
3)Visions of One Religion Revelation 13:3,4,8-9 “The whole world was astonished and followed the beast…” They worshipped the dragon/beast. He suffers an apparently fatal head wound and comes back to life. The Antichrist will rule, and the False Prophet will point people towards him. The Vatican has been promoting this for a long time. Pope John Paul II has long been trying to unite all of the world’s religions under one leadership. They include Buddhists, Hindus, Snake Worshippers, Muslims, Witch Doctors, etc., who all gathered at the Vatican. The pope said they were all praying to the same god! This spiritual fornication is coming from the Vatican. Pope Francis is planting olive trees in Jerusalem with the world’s religious leaders. The leaders are now calling for a united nations of religions. They want a global headquarters to control the religions. Pope Francis said unrepentant atheists and homosexuals can go to heaven. Read I Corinthians 6:9-11. The Vatican is promoting this one world religion. The Protestant Church in masse, is going back under the umbrella of Rome. Ken Copeland is an example. He is a false teacher and a Word of Faith heretic. He piped in a message from the pope into his Protestant Church. One of the Catholic messages is that “Luther’s protest is over and we are all Catholics.” This is how far it has progressed and it has never been here before since the Reformation, when men and women were murdered, beaten, strangled, drowned and burned at the stake, just to give us a copy of the Bible. There are many Charismatics with the pope as well. Rick Warren, however, is the poster boy for evangelical protestants aligning with popery. Warren calls Pope Francis “…our new pope.” The Vatican sent a delegation to Saddleback Church. Warren gushes over Pope Francis’ good deeds. Rick Warren shares how he loves the Catholic television stations, and talks about “The Chaplet of Divine Mercy, mother Angelica and us Christians.” Rick relaxes and listens to “Hail Mary, full of grace, mother of God.”

The first attempt to usher in the New World Order (NWO) was the Tower of Babel, expounded upon in Genesis 11. God broke it up, yet the idea has never left the nefarious heart of fallen man. There are several global agencies, whose chief desire is to usher in one world religion, one world government, and a one world economy. The first was the Illuminati, formed in Europe on May 1, 1776, two months prior to the inception of the United States of America as a nation. After Ronald Wilson Reagan was our president, every president on both sides of the aisle has promoted the NWO. Now it seems, Barack Obama desired to express his disapproval at the U.K.’s desire to bow out of the twenty eight nation European Union (EU). Obviously the EU’s losing the UK’s support in their bloc, would be a step backwards from the NWO and globalism, and in favor of national sovereignty. All that Obama does endorses globalism. His attacks upon the Christian heritage of the United States of America is a step towards the NWO. (i.e. promoting abortion, LGBT, “gay” marriages). Barack Obama cleverly fools people of the world, but not discerning Christians. At any rate, the mayor of London told Obama to butt out of England’s affairs, also inferring that Obama’s Kenyan ancestry makes Obama hate England. I would not argue with that idea, especially given the fact that Obama’s first act as president was to send back to England a bust of Winston Churchill.

Apostasy Is Becoming Prevalent In The Church

APOSTASY …is when the belief system of the fallen world enters the church. What was recently called sexual perversion is the new normal. Today’s America is like ancient Sodom. Sodom was so apostate that Sodomites even attempted to rape angels, even after the Sodomites were blinded! [What is mind boggling is the naivety of people today, who seem to believe we are exempt from God’s judgment from our sanctifying of sodomy! There is absolutely no fear of God. Keep in mind that we have so much more light than the ancient Sodomites, yet we wink at this hideous abomination. Judgment is coming very soon.] Our president and the supreme court have been working on sanctifying “gay” marriage, and promoting the LGBT movement for years with great success. After the supreme court’s recent vote to allow these “marriages,” the White House was bathed in rainbow colors, thus displaying their consummate approval and endorsement of this decision. Most Christian leaders realize that the next step for those who practice these abominations, is for them to demand acceptance within the church. Many mainline churches will have no worries, because they have already gone apostate. So much for freedom of religion. Church members are scrambling to change their by laws as to what constitutes a Biblical marriage, who can use the restrooms, etc., etc. Make no mistake, those who oppose the New World Order (NWO) will eventually have their land and buildings confiscated, and their churches dissolved, unless the Lord intervenes. The Bible tells us in Daniel 7:25 that the Antichrist will change our laws. I cannot imagine a greater change than to turn God’s plan for marriage on its’ head. We have usurped 6,000 years of human history and standards for morality and made a total mockery of God’s ideal for marriage and family. Many mainline Christian churches have already accepted these life styles which means that the Lord has taken His candlestick out from among them. Wherever apostasy prevails, the Holy Spirit leaves. In North Carolina, people who oppose the rights of the LGBT crowd to use the public restrooms are referred to as hateful. Who would like their nine year old child to enter a public restroom with one who believes they are a man today and a woman tomorrow? Anyone who stands for Biblical, traditional and normal values is labeled as hateful and phobic. Churches are becoming less bold and even timid about confronting these issues.

Acceptance of sexual unions outside of God’s parameters is a huge sign that the church age may be winding down. If this is the case, then apocalyptic events like the rapture of the church and the Great Tribulation could be right around the corner. So what should be our attitude given these circumstances? Should we be sad or glad? The Bible has the answer:

Southern Baptist Convention 2016 ~ Meet Me In St. Louis
The 2016 Southern Baptist Convention / Pastor’s Conference will be as always, in the month of June. The location will be St. Louis this year. “Awaken America: Agree, Unite, Pray” is the theme of the 2016 SBC Annual Meeting as announced by SBC President Dr. Ronnie Floyd.
The Lord willing, this site will offer a comprehensive synopsis of the speakers, music and business at hand, after attending this wonderful annual meeting. As Christians place our fingers in the wind, and with discernment understand the times in which we live, our leaders will have valuable insight to pass on to us, and I will in turn pass it on to you. I spoke with an octogenarian Christian friend yesterday, and he told me that he believes we are at the end of the church age. I did not argue with him. Do you know what that means? The answer:
