The Great Relocation: Americans On The Move Because They Feel Something Coming

BY MICHAEL SNYDER/ECONOMIC COLLAPSE BLOG NOVEMBER 25, 2020

This is a really odd time to be having a “housing boom”. The chaotic events of 2020 have caused “millions of Americans” to relocate but many still fear there is worse to come.

This is a really odd time to be having a “housing boom”.  We are in the middle of the worst public health crisis in 100 years, endless civil unrest has been ravaging many of our largest cities, and we are experiencing the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
But even though more millions of Americans have filed new claims for unemployment benefits this year, home sales are absolutely rocking.  How in the world is this possible?
Well, this phenomenon is actually quite easy to explain.  As our society comes apart at the seams all around us, vast numbers of Americans are seeking greener pastures.
According to ABC News, the chaotic events of 2020 have caused “millions of Americans” to relocate.  In New York City alone, more than 300,000 former residents have permanently moved to new addresses.
We have never seen anything quite like this before, and it is anticipated that this trend will continue into 2021.  Even though most Americans don’t know exactly what is ahead, I think that on some level many of them can feel what is coming, and they are getting out of the big cities while they still can.
So even though we are literally in the midst of a horrifying economic depression, homes are selling like hotcakes right now…
Home sales rose again in October, at their highest pace in 14 years, according to the National Association of Realtors.
But a record low inventory of available homes and a greater number of luxury homes sold have pushed the median home price up to a record $313,000, almost 16% more than a year ago.
With so many interested buyers and such little inventory, it has definitely become a seller’s market…
At the current pace of sales, it would take just 2.5 months to clear the existing inventory — a record low.
If you want to sell your home, now is a really good time to do so.
But then good luck finding a new place.
This incredible surge in demand for housing has also fueled a tremendous boom in housing starts…
Single-family starts experienced continued gains in October, according to data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Census Bureau. Single-family construction is up 8.6% year-to-date, with notable gains in 2020 for the Midwest and other lower-density markets.
The pace of single-family starts in October was the highest production rate since the spring of 2007.
So even though so many other sectors of the economy are deeply hurting at the moment, those that build homes are loving life right now.
Real estate websites are also doing extremely well.  In particular, “Zillow surfing” has become a new national pastime…
Zillow usage has climbed since March, with online visitors to for-sale listings up more than 50 percent year-over-year in the early months of the pandemic.
People bond over listings on Discord servers, group chats and “Zillow Twitter,” and their obsession has made many strange and obscure listings go viral. Curbed, a website covering city life, real estate and design, recently started a column called My Week in Zillow Saves, in which people (myself included) share the homes they’ve admired on the site.
If you can believe it, “Zillow surfing” has become “especially popular among teenagers”…
Zillow surfing is especially popular among teenagers. A TikTok meme over the summer consisted of users talking about knowing where the bathrooms were in their friend’s or crush’s house before ever visiting it because they had toured all of their classmates’ homes on Zillow. Many young people have extensive lists of saved homes and discuss and share listings with friends.
When life is miserable, people like to daydream about something better, and “Zillow surfing” allows them to do that.
Personally, I have been hearing from so many people that have either recently relocated or that would like to move.  So many that I know are feeling an urgency like never before, because they sense that really dark times are fast approaching.
Interestingly, one of the most important things that people look at when they are thinking of relocating is the political orientation of an area.  In fact, one recent survey found that 42 percent of Americans “would be hesitant to move to an area where most people have political views different from their own”…
Forty-two percent of U.S. residents would be hesitant to move to an area where most people have political views different from their own, up from 32% in June, according to a new report from Redfin (redfin.com), the technology-powered real estate brokerage. That’s the highest share since 2017, when Redfin began posing this question to survey respondents.
Increasingly, Democrats are moving to “blue states” and conservatives are moving to “red states”.
Could this potentially have some very serious implications down the road?
I don’t know.  I am just asking the question.
For other Americans, leaving the country entirely seems like a promising option…
Americans are leaving the country or seeking foreign visas in record numbers, according to immigration lawyers and expatriate organizations, during an oppressive year of political violence, racial strife and an uncontrolled pandemic that has kept families locked in their homes for months – with no clear end in sight.
As the economic suffering in the U.S. intensifies, the number of people wanting to leave will almost certainly go even higher.
With each passing day, more new restrictions are being put in place to try to control the COVID pandemic, and these new restrictions are going to make our ongoing economic depression a whole lot worse.
Already, it has become clear that another huge wave of economic pain is upon us.
The Greater Los Angeles Food Bank says that demand is up 145 percent compared to last year, and the other day people waited in absolutely massive lines for up to 12 hours at a food bank in Texas just to get some food.
Other Americans are stockpiling huge quantities of toilet paper and other supplies in anticipation of a very difficult winter.
Whatever you need to do to get prepared for what is ahead, I would do it as soon as possible.

JD Greear Says Christians are Cursed Since They Don’t Fight for “Gender Justice”

ByJEFF MAPLES

-OCTOBER 29, 2020

jd greear

JD Greear, president of the Southern Baptist Convention — who denounced Southern Baptists as racists and white supremacists, called on Christians to stand up for LGBTQ rights, and has a pro-choice woman leading bible studies at his church and also says that people who are followers of Jesus will think about the “rights of immigrants” while at the ballot box — has denounced the Church as “cursed” like Meroz for not fighting for “racial justice” and “gender justice.”

Greear, recently complained in a sermon that Christians today, like Christians during the time of American slavery, have a “malaise” about matters of justice because, he says, it doesn’t “directly affect them.

“Whether we’re talking about racial justice or gender justice or what have you,” he says, “tragically…there’s often been a malaise in the church…because the injustice did not directly affect those of us sitting in places of privilege. Like Meroz, it didn’t affect our tribe.”

Of course, he doesn’t exactly explain what “gender justice” is, however, the website, Gender Justice U.S. defines it as “a world where everyone can thrive regardless of their gender, gender expression, or sexual orientation.” And since Greear has called on Christians to stand up for gay rights and says that using “preferred pronouns” for transgender people is “pronoun hospitality” and that he believes he should do it, one can draw their own conclusion as to what Greear means by the term. Greear argued that Christians are “cursed,” like Meroz, for sitting back and “doing nothing” while oppressed people are bearing the burdens of the privileged. TRENDING:  Premature Baby Born at 22 Weeks Now Healthy and Safely at Home

Besides the obvious fact that this is just stupid, it is biblically ignorant and does not represent what the Scriptures actually teach about justice. This is a Reconstructionist revision of the theology of justice and deserves nothing less than outright rejection by all Christians.Commentshttps://www.facebook.com/v3.2/plugins/comments.php

The coming nationwide lockdown…

American Renewal Project

Tucker Carlson ventured in upon the Covid-19 situation in his opening monologue last week: “So the question is, what exactly is this about? It’s not about science. If masks and lockdowns prevented spikes in coronavirus infections, we wouldn’t be seeing spikes in coronavirus infections after nine months. But we are seeing them, so clearly, the geniuses got it wrong once again. This time, they’re not even bothering to point to legitimate scientific studies to support continuing their policies because there aren’t any studies that support that.”1 Who could have concocted in March this year a scheme that thugs and hoodlums would be burning down cities and looting businesses across America…with impunity, scot-free? Or that a Texas mother would be fined, arrested, and put in jail for keeping her hairdresser business open to feed her children, or that pastors across the nation in blue states would be fined hundreds of thousands of dollars, each, and threatened with criminal indictment for holding worship services? Or that the constitutional rights of American citizens would be violated in the name of an alleged “health emergency” that has a 99% survival rate? Anyone who thinks that the November 3rd election had anything to do with Democrats versus Republicans has been disconnected from reality. What’s happening in America eerily resembles George Orwell’s dystopian account of a future repressive totalitarian state in his book, Nineteen Eighty-Four, often published as 1984, prophetically written as early as 1947-1948. Let there be no doubt that long-term freedom for our children and grandchildren is on the bubble, as totalitarian government bureaucrats and blue state governors and mayors 1) ruin the economy, 2) close schools, and 3) divide Americans in categories of “essential” and “non-essential.” And all this being undertaken cloaked and concealed with serpentine skill. The grand deception of Covid-19 is beginning to appear like the ruse put on ancient Israel by the Gibeonites in Joshua Chapter 9, whose stale bread and worn-out shoes were but a subterfuge and smokescreen to give the subtle serpent the upper hand. Where were the spiritual men and women around the president on March 16, 2020, as he pronounced the necessity of “Fifteen Days to Slow the Spread”? – the mere fortnight that has now turned into 8 long months! There is no getting away from the fact that President Trump has himself to blame for this as he became entangled with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Big Pharma, television network elites, and nightly ratings for viewership around Covid-19 briefings. It appears that they played him like a fine Stradivarius, in the process placing 40 million Americans out of work. It will get even worse if the ostensible Biden-Harris administration gets hold of the steering wheel. Then we will be rushing headlong towards the economic precipice with another six-weeks lockdown. Dr. Knut Wittkowski warned in March to get the old and frail people out of the way, get the kids in school, run your businesses and carry on with life as usual, and in 4-6 weeks the virus would have run its course due to the only thing that halts any virus: herd immunity. Quarantines and “flattening the curve” do not prevent, just delay and prolong. Which brings us again to Dr. Fauci, a government bureaucrat and “administrator,” not a clinician. An armchair physician coming down from his ivory tower, Dr. Fauci continues, untroubled by shame or blame, to peddle his baseless opinions and idle inconsistencies on quarantines and facemasks. If he were to advise getting on boxcars with destination “Covid Protection Camps To Flatten The Curve,” hordes would rush to the nearest departure station. Let anyone who doubts this consult Senator, and medical doctor, Rand Paul: “Lockdowns don’t work. And in fact, all of the evidence on mandatory masks show that they don’t work either.”2 With that said, we thank God for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves in a country marching blindly towards absolute control and tyrannical sway. Governor Reeves declared, “We are not going to participate in nationwide lockdowns … we believe that while they may make recommendations, that in this country under the Stafford Act when you have emergencies … Those emergencies have to be state-managed, locally executed, and federally supported. I don’t believe that there’s any constitutional or statutory authority for any president to shut down Mississippi’s economy. We will certainly fight that if it becomes necessary.”3 Hear! Hear! It is not that complicated. If restaurants scare you – stay home. If airline travel scares you – stay home. If bars scare you – don’t go there. If working in an office scares you – quit and work from home. If you want to wear a mask – by all means wear one – you’re free to do so as of this writing. For the rest of us, please leave us be. In the 2020th Year of Our Lord it is becoming more and more clear that one doesn’t have to fly an airplane into a building to destroy a nation. Unless we change our superstitiously irrational approach, says Dr. Knut Wittkowski, “We’re heading for a disaster, and mankind will be substantially decimated in five to ten years. Covid-20 has evolved as a direct result of lockdowns.

With that as background, we come to the real battle facing America. In his outstanding book The Second World Wars, Victor Davis Hanson writes: “Throughout history, conflict [has] always broken out between enemies when the appearance of deterrence – the material and spiritual likelihood of using greater military power successfully against an aggressive enemy – vanished.” The forfeiting of the Biblically based culture laid down by the American Founders that was squandered over the last 100 years – and has now vanished – has empowered God’s secular adversaries. As Hanson continues: “A stronger appearance of power, and of the willingness to employ it, might have stopped more conflicts before they began.” Hanson refers here to Winston Churchill’s correct assessment from WWII that up until 1934, Hitler could have been stopped without the loss of a single life. It was not time that was lacking. “Put another way,” writes Hanson, “deterrence in the famous formulation of the 17th-century British statesman George Savile, First Marquess of Halifax, meant that ‘men are not hanged for stealing horses, but that horses may not be stolen.’ “But once thieves were not hanged and more horses were indeed stolen, who is strong and who is weak became confusing, and the proper recalibration that pruned rhetoric and posturing from knowledge of real strength returned only at the tremendous cost of a world war.”4 The fight for freedom and liberty will never end; each next generation must take up the torch. American Christendom over the last 100 years has been all but the Salt and Light of the culture. In fact it completely forsook Jesus Kingdom assignment from Matthew to build His ekklesia. Instead, a Christian subculture was created, replete with Christian celebrities, huge budgets, big buildings, and a nominal footprint in the culture. Seventeenth-century English author and Anglican clergyman William Gurnall [1616-1679], seems to have indicated 20th and 21st-century America and its cultural collapse when he wrote: “The shadow will not cool except in it. What good to have the shadow though of a mighty rock, when we sit in the open sun? To have almighty power engaged for us, and we to throw ourselves out of it, by bold sallies in the mouth of temptation! The saints’ falls have been when they have run out of their trench and stronghold; for, like the conies, they are a weak people in themselves, and their strength lies in the rock of God’s almightiness, which is their habitation.”5 Notwithstanding that paganism has raised its flag over a vanquished foe – American Christendom – it will not last. For, in the words of Charles Spurgeon, “they have imagined a vain thing,” as Gideons and Rahabs begin to stand in the public square. David Lane American Renewal Project 1. www.foxnews.com/opinion/tucker-carlson-coronavirus-pandemic-lockdowns-great-reset2. townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2020/11/18/rand-paul-to-push-back-against-lockdowns-n25802893. thefederalist.com/2020/11/17/if-democrat-states-could-ignore-trump-republican-states-can-ignore-biden/4. When A Plague Swept Through The Roman Empire ~ The Christian Response

In the year 165 A.D., a plague swept through the Roman Empire that claimed the lives of more than a quarter of the population. The disease was feared so much that, at the first sign of symptoms, people drove their own family members from their homes and into the street. No one would help them or care for them, they were just left to die.

The early church rose to the occasion and began to care for the sick. By caring for their basic needs, it’s believed that Christians lowered the mortality rate for those they treated by two-thirds. Their bold actions were a powerful witness of the love of Christ in their culture.

In the seventeenth century, Martin Rinkart served as a clergyman in Saxony, Germany, for more than thirty years during times of war and plague. One year he conducted more than 4,000 funerals, including his wife’s, and at times food was so scarce that his family went hungry. Although he could have despaired, his faith in God remained strong and he gave thanks continually. In fact, he poured his gratitude into “Nun danket alle Gott,” the song that became the well-loved English hymn, “Now Thank We All Our God.” Rinkart followed the example of the prophet Isaiah, who instructed God’s people to give thanks at all times, including when they’d disappointed God (Isaiah 12:1) or when enemies oppressed them. Even then they were to exalt God’s name, making “known among the nations what he has done” (v. 4).We might give thanks easily during harvest celebrations such as Thanksgiving, when we’re enjoying an abundant feast with friends and family. But can we express our gratitude to God in difficult times, such as when we’re missing someone from our table or when we’re struggling with our finances or when we’re locked in conflict with one close to us?

Let’s echo Pastor Rinkart, joining hearts and voices as we give praise and thanks to “the eternal God, whom earth and Heaven adore.” We can “sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things” (v. 5).By Amy Boucher Pye

SCRIPTURE INSIGHT Salvation—a term used to express rescue, deliverance, and victory—is a major theme in the Old and New Testaments. Though used extensively in Isaiah (the noun form occurs more than twenty-five times), the first time it’s explicitly used is in 12:2-3. The root of the word translated “salvation” in these verses is the most important word for salvation in the Old Testament. It’s the verb yaw-shah’, which signifies “freedom from that which binds or restricts; . . . to deliver, liberate, give length and breadth to.”

Salvation is also a favorite word for the psalmist (used approximately forty times) including verses like, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1). Jonah declared, “Salvation comes from the Lord” (Jonah 2:9). The name Joshua comes from this word and means, “The Lord saves.” The name Jesus (Matthew 1:21) is the Greek word for Joshua. On Control Of Senate ~ John Kennedy / Republican Louisiana: “If we lose the senate majority, Senator Chuck Schumer, Senator Bernie Sanders, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Congresswoman A.O.C. are in charge. If they get in control, you have nothing to worry about unless you are a taxpayer, a business owner, a parent, a gun owner, a cop, a person of faith or an unborn baby. Florida retiree wrestles puppy from jaws of alligator

By Jay Croft, CNN Updated 3:13 PM ET, Sat November 21, 2020

(CNN)In a dramatic encounter recorded by surveillance cameras, a Florida man chased an alligator under water and rescued his 3-month-old puppy from the jaws of death.Richard Wilbanks, 74, of Estero ran into his backyard pond, wrestled the gator above surface, and pried its jaws open to free Gunner, his Cavalier King Charles spaniel.

Gunner was mostly unharmed.

Gunner was mostly unharmed. “We were just out walking by the pond,” Wilbanks told CNN, “and it came out of the water like a missile. I never thought an alligator could be that fast. It was so quick. “He said adrenaline or instinct kicked in, and “I just automatically jumped into the water. Holding the alligator wasn’t so tough, but prying open the jaws was “extremely hard,” he said. Wilbanks said his hands were “chewed up,” and he went to a doctor for a tetanus shot. Gunner had one puncture wound in his belly and did fine after a trip to the veterinarian’s office.

The pair out walking before the gator lunged

The pair out walking before the gator lunged. The rescue south of Fort Myers was caught on camera because of a partnership between the Florida Wildlife Federation and the fSTOP Foundation. “We live on a shared landscape,” Meredith Budd of the wildlife federation told affiliate WINK. “We don’t just want to tolerate wildlife, but, rather, we want to thrive with wildlife on a shared landscape. “Wilbanks agrees with that mission and he doesn’t want the alligator removed from the pond or destroyed. “They’re part of nature and part of our lives,” he said. He still takes Gunner walking, but he keeps the puppy on a leash — and 10 feet from the pond’s edge. “Our pets, they’re just like family to us,” he said.

Florida man rescues puppy from jaws of alligator without dropping cigar

A man in Florida rescued his puppy from the jaws of an alligator, diving under the water and wrestling the reptile all without dropping the cigar in his mouth.

Richard Wilbanks, 74, was walking his Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Gunner, around the pond near his retirement home in Estero, Florida, when the alligator raced up from the water and grabbed the dog, Wilbanks told CNN.

“It came out of the water like a missile,” he said. “I never thought an alligator could be that fast. It was so quick.”

Cameras set up by the Florida Wildlife Federation and the fSTOP Foundation captured the encounter, which shows Wilbanks in the pond, his head submerged as he tries to grab a hold of the alligator. He then emerges holding the reptile, which still has the dog in its jaws. In Wilbank’s jaws is a cigar – which he never drops.

‘He had green eyes’: Florida man will paint alligator that attacked him

Wilbanks moves to the edge of the pond while trying to pry the dog free. Eventually he succeeds, and Gunner runs away while Wilbanks tries to extract his own hands from the creature’s mouth.

Gunner has since seen a vet, and while he suffered a small puncture wound to his stomach, he is otherwise fine, CNN reported, while Wilbanks said that his hands were “chewed up”.

He doesn’t want the alligator removed, he said. “They’re part of nature and part of our lives.”

But he will be keeping Gunner on a leash and at least 3 metres (10 feet) from the pond from now on.

…and he never dropped his cigar. Must have been an expensive Cuban cigar. What a cool customer is this man from Fort Myers, Florida

A Time To Heal?

A Time To Heal?

Joe Biden spoke of it during his victory-claiming, Saturday night speech. Time Magazine has now made it their new front cover. It is, we are being told, “time to heal.” But will it be that easy? And can a party with strong, radical elements lead the way in healing when many are calling for a witch hunt of Trump supporters

Joe Biden spoke of it during his victory-claiming, Saturday night speech. Time Magazine has now made it their new front cover. It is, we are being told, “time to heal.” But will it be that easy? And can a party with strong, radical elements lead the way in healing?
Of course, we still do not know the final outcome of the elections. There are many court cases to hear and many challenges to review. And Christians around the country continue to pray fervently for God’s will to be done.
But if it does turn out that Joe Biden is our next president, with Kamala Harris as vice president, can he (or she) lead the way in healing a very broken, fragmented, angry nation?
He said Saturday night, “Let’s give each other a chance put away the harsh rhetoric.” Yes, he urged, “Stop treating our opponents as our enemies. They are not our enemies. They’re Americans.”
I truly appreciate those words. I applaud those sentiments. And I believe that there is just as much hatred on the left as there is on the right (and probably in the middle too).
We don’t simply differ with each other these days. We despise each other. We loathe each other. We demonize each other.
There Will Be No Healing
Would that it were as easy as saying, “Let’s stop being enemies.” Would that we could simply come together over shared, common values. Would that we could simply love our neighbors as ourselves. I pray that it would be so.
But as long as there are strong beliefs that the election has been stolen, there will be no healing in sight.
Conversely, should the courts overturn the current vote, there will be no healing.
And when crowds dance in jubilation at the defeat of Trump, there will be no healing.
And when BLM and Antifa remain as radicalized as ever, there will be no healing.
The onus of bringing healing must fall on those who claim to know the Lord.
And if Biden becomes our next president and seeks to enact many of his promised policies, as his constituents would expect him to do, there will be no healing.
And if Biden and Harris continue to advocate for the legal slaughtering of the unborn — as he is promising to do among his first acts, there will be no healing.
And if Biden is serious about making transgender rights the civil rights issue of the day, there will be no healing. (Note his specific mention of “Gay, straight, transgender” in his speech.)
Even with something as simple as a national mask mandate, it would only deepen the divide.
The Fate of the Nation
I personally believe that 8 years of the Obama administration brought great disunity, rather than healing, to the nation.
The next four years of the Trump administration exponentially deepened those divisions and poured salt into the wounds.
And now, with the most divisive, volatile elections since the Civil War, our divisions and suspicions are even deeper.
On the left, people like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez are attacking their fellow Democrats for not being radical enough. Towards the middle-left, the “moderates” are criticizing people like AOC for their radical positions. And the further you go to the right, the more the left is perceived as the number one, existential threat to the future of the nation.
That’s why both Republicans and Democrats claimed that this election was about “the future of America” or “the future of our democracy.” Everyone recognized what was at stake.
And should Donald Trump somehow emerge victorious to serve a second term, I see no hope of healing coming from him either, barring a change that would be even more miraculous than his reelection.
Christians Must Lead the Way in Healing
What, then, can be done?
To be sure, we should pray that the duly elected, next president will be a unifier rather than a divider. He can set an example of civility while maintaining his convictions. He can be a man of courage without savaging his opponents. That would help in part.
But the onus of bringing healing must fall on those who claim to know the Lord. Those who believe in His values. Those who truly believe that we are called to stand out from the rest of the world, marked by our conduct and our character.
We can stand firm and immovable without being nasty and petty. We can vote our convictions without engaging in partisan political mud-slinging. And, with God’s help, we can even love our enemies. We can actually bless those who curse us. It is a beautifully freeing and transforming experience.
At the very least, we can practice such conduct among ourselves, among our fellow-believers, even in the midst of our inevitable differences and conflicts.
As Paul exhorted the Colossians, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity” (Colossians 3:12-14).
If you’re a Christian, this is a command, not a suggestion.
And while the healing of a hurting, angry, divided nation is a seemingly impossible task, we can seek to bring healing one life at a time.
We can reach out with grace to an offended loved one. We can send a kind-hearted (not compromised) note to an angered friend on social media. We can forgive from the heart. We can humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness where we have sinned against others.
To quote Paul again, “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not covet,’ and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:8-10).
Again, I appreciate any effort by a political leader to sound a conciliatory note and to reach out across the aisle. I simply realize that with the nature of the divisions that are tearing us apart, true healing will have to come from another source.
May each of us lead the way, not moving an iota from our deeply held convictions and not ceasing to fight for what is right. But walking in love and living as decent human beings.
Can I count you in?

Top Israeli Minister Warns Biden Policy On Iran Could Lead To War

Minister of Settlement Affairs Tzahi Hanegbi is warning that if President Biden were to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal, it could ultimately precipitate an Israeli-Iranian war because “we will be forced to take action.”

In an interview with channel 13 News, Minister of Settlement Affairs Tzahi Hanegbi said that if President Biden were to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal, it could ultimately precipitate an Israeli-Iranian war because “we will be forced to take action.”
Hanegbi, a member of Netanyahu’s Likud party and considered to be a close confidant of the prime minister, previously served as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Minister of Regional Cooperation. He is also considered to be a security expert.
Hangebi may be referring to Biden’s commitment to restart the 2015 Iran nuclear deal that his administration brokered when he was vice president under Barack Obama. This means that the economic sanctions imposed by President Trump could be thawed out under his leadership. That can translate into Tehran exporting over 2 million barrels of crude oil a day.
Netanyahu for his part previoulsy addressed congress against the wishes of Obama to warn about the Nuclear deal with the Islamic republic which he called a “historic mistake.”
The sanctions imposed by Trump have managed to cripple the Iranian economy sending its currency, the rial, to 304,300 on the dollar.

Many experts believe that it was precisely these sanctions that have prevented Iran from following through on their threats to wipe Israel off the map – a war that they currently cannot afford.
But if the sanctions are indeed lifted under a potential Biden administration, that can all change. This could leave Israel no choice but to wage war on Tehran and to stop them before they become a nuclear power.
