So here we are in a shooting war with Russia. We are supplying the weapons, and the Ukrainians are doing the fighting and dying. But make no mistake. In addition to arming the Ukrainians, by our sanctions, we have declared economic war on Russia and, reportedly, are also using our satellites to target Russian troops for death and destruction. We are in this war just as surely as if Americans were on the ground pulling the triggers.

And, as this goes on, the question becomes how will it play out? Will Russia retaliate with cyberattacks to disrupt our domestic power grid, pipelines, transportation, financial institutions or other infrastructure?  Will it unleash chemical or biological agents? Will it use tactical nukes to speed up the rumbling of Ukraine’s cities? How will we respond if Russia pursues any of these options? And how close are we to that one misstep that could cause events to spiral out of control into nuclear conflagration?

How did we get here?

The answer is simple. The titular head of the Biden regime is weak, corrupt, and mentally incompetent. None of this is or has been a secret. All of it has been on embarrassing display before the entire world and was disastrously demonstrated by Joe Biden’s witless and chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan as well as his astoundingly moronic prewar assurance to Vladmir Putin that the United States would not militarily oppose an invasion of Ukraine.

What are the Biden family’s benefactors in Ukraine and Russia getting for their money? Whose interests is the Biden regime serving?

Biden’s caretakers have tried to hide and explain away his glaringly obvious unfitness for office. During the 2020 presidential campaign, he was kept out of public view. As our purported president, his public appearances have been marked by his inability to extemporaneously speak in a coherent manner. He even struggles to read off a teleprompter and frequently appears to be confused and lost in a mental fog.

Nevertheless, the Biden regime has been aided and abetted by corporate media eager to do their bit to mask Biden’s deficits. Similarly, none of the corporate media have questioned or investigated the Biden family’s murky financial dealings in Ukraine, Russia,  and China.

In this regard, the Biden regime has been assisted by our intelligence and federal law enforcement agencies that kneecapped Donald Trump’s presidency based on lies concocted by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign while dismissing as Russian disinformation the evidence of the Biden family’s corruption contained on Hunter Biden’s laptop computer.

Joe Biden was installed in the Oval Office by a process that had all the features of the color revolutions that our deep state has so successfully fomented around the world. On election night, the vote count was mysteriously halted. There followed an avalanche of mail-in ballots of unknown provenance.  The corporate media promptly declared Biden the winner, and denounced anyone who dared to publicly question this outcome. Those who persisted in challenging the result were smeared, banned from social media, and canceled. Many have been sued in court or had their livelihoods threatened or destroyed.

And with that, it was mission accomplished. America’s color revolution had  succeeded in installing a drooling fool in the Oval Office.

Today Russia has decided to exploit Biden’s obvious weaknesses. But how long will it be before Communist China, North Korea, Iran, Islamic terrorists, narco states and every other malign element take advantage of the unprecedented opportunity presented by Biden’s weak and semi-comatose leadership?

We must face facts. Donald Trump, the only President in this century who did not get us into a war and whose policies produced a thriving economy, American energy independence, and stable foreign relations, has been replaced by a literal idiot who has wrecked our economy, opened our borders, and undermined our national security. And now, in his most remarkable achievement to date, he has gotten us into a shooting war between two countries where in each he and his family have surreptitiously reaped untold wealth.

The fact is that we have gone to war on behalf of a country where, according to a U.S. Senate report, the Biden family has had questionable financial dealings and are fighting yet another country where Elena Baturina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow and reputedly the wealthiest woman in Russia, made a 2014 wire transfer of $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC, a company co-founded by Hunter Biden. In 2015, then Vice President Joe Biden was seen having dinner in Georgetown with Ms. Baturina. Unlike other oligarchs, she reportedly has not been subject to the U.S. sanctions which were imposed following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

All of which gives rise to certain  unavoidable questions. What are the Biden family’s benefactors in Ukraine and Russia getting for their money? Whose interests is the Biden regime serving? What covert influences may be in play and what effect, if any, are they having on our involvement in and conduct of the war?

These are vital and troubling questions. We are staring at the possibility of getting into a nuclear war over a conflict that does not directly or immediately affect our national security or survival. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is vile, cruel, and evil, but it does not pose an imminent threat to the United States.

Moreover, why is the Biden regime giving precedence to the invasion of Ukraine over the ongoing invasion of the United States through our southern border?  How is it that the Biden regime is allowing and promoting the invasion of our nation while – at the risk of nuclear world war – it has maneuvered us into an armed conflict over the territorial integrity of a country that abuts Russia?

Is this a case of misdirection? Is the Biden regime using this war to distract us from the disaster at our southern border and the wanton and mindless destruction of our energy independence and economy?

Don’t expect any of our leaders or corporate media to pose or seek answers to these questions. But consider this. The fate of the world is in the hands of a man who is literally and demonstrably a weak-willed and mentally disabled dimwit with highly questionable  financial interests on both sides of the war in Ukraine as well as in Communist China which is on the verge of coming to Russia’s assistance.

What could possibly go wrong?

Official Data: Nearly All ‘Covid’ Deaths in August and September Occurred in the Fully Vaccinated

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) in the United Kingdom has released a new dataset showing that 81 percent of everyone who died in the month of September [and 80% in August] after testing “positive” for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) was “fully vaccinated” in accordance with government guidelines.

Again, 80% of “Covid-19” deaths from AUGUST and 81% “Covid-19” deaths from SEPTEMBER. That’s huge!

In the U.K. alone during the month of September, some 30,305 people died within 21 days of getting injected for the Chinese Flu. This was an inadvertent admission by the ONS, which had previously told inquiring minds that “they do not hold this information.”

It turns out that they do hold this information, but did not want to make it public because it wrecks the mainstream claim among governments and medical systems that Fauci Flu shots are “safe and effective.”

“The ONS report, used to dupe the public into believing just 1% of fully vaccinated people have died of Covid-19, didn’t include Covid-19 deaths that have and are currently occurring in this extremely strange third wave of Covid-19 deaths,” reported Humans Are Free.

“Strange because Covid-19 deaths have been and still are many times higher than this time last year, despite the fact summer has been on our side, as well as an allegedly 95% effective vaccine.”

One year ago, the number of covid-related deaths pretty much flat-lined. This was before Donald “father of the vaccine” Trump unleashed his rushed-to-market “Operation Warp Speed” injections, for which he is still going around bragging are one of his greatest “accomplishments.”

This year, however, the world is seeing a massive surge in new “cases” of the Chinese Virus. The numbers are so high that Humans Are Free reported that this is something “you would expect to see in the middle of winter with a 95% effective vaccine.”

Winter Is Coming: What Will Become Of The Fully Vaccinated?

The shots are obviously not 95 percent effective, unless by “effective” they mean that these injections are injuring and killing most of the people who take them. Perhaps this is the real goal of the pandemic, which was obviously never about “saving lives” of “flattening the curve” – unless human beings are the “curve,” of course.

In that case, the world population really is being flattened at warp speed, and millions remain none the wiser due to their willful ignorance and blind trust in the system to somehow have their best interests in mind.

Not only are the vast majority of all “covid” deaths now occurring among the fully vaccinated, but so are the vast majority of all new “cases.” Pretty much the only people still having trouble with Chinese Germs are those who took the jabs, in other words.

Week after week, hospitals are filling up with fully jabbed people who are getting sick and dying in droves due to their immune systems being wrecked by spike proteins and whatever other poisons are contained within those mystery vials.

This is data that anyone can look at, by the way. Anyone who claims to support “science” is lying to themselves if they continue to believe the likes of Tony Fauci and CNN when it comes to the “new normal” of widespread Chinese Virus vaccination compliance.

“The data clearly shows the jabs do not prevent infection or transmission, and it clearly shows that even in summer and early autumn they are increasing the risk of hospitalization and death rather than reducing the risk,” reports Humans Are Free, noting that this is all happening in summer when sickness and death should be at a minimum.

Biden’s Disastrous Plan To Rebuild The Terrorist State In Gaza

Biden is sending a message to all Palestinians that the long-term objective of Hamas–namely, the elimination of Israel–is not only still on the table, but a realistic future option towards which they should work.

In the aftermath of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas after 11 days of fighting that left 12 Israelis and 248 Palestinians dead, and approximately 77,000 Gazans homeless, the Biden administration now wants to help. Secretary of State Antony Blinken headed to the Middle East this week but his purpose is not, as he claims, to revive the dead-in-the-water peace process between Israel and the Palestinians. 
Rather, it’s to ensure that the truce holds. According to President Joe Biden, Blinken will do so while simultaneously reaffirming “our ironclad commitment to Israel’s security” while also continuing “our administration’s efforts to rebuild ties, and support for, the Palestinian people, and leaders, after years of neglect.”
There’s a lot to unpack in that sentence. Biden’s words signaled a shot at the administration of former President Donald Trump’s closeness with Israel and attempt to hold the Palestinian Authority accountable for its support of terrorism. It also reflected a policy shift to a more “even-handed” approach to the conflict, while at the same time also attempting to claim that its support for Israel is unshaken.
Any statement that seeks to reassure both the sector of his party’s base that is anti-Israel and Americans who support the Jewish state can’t be said to amount to much. That’s especially true since the administration’s foreign-policy priority until last week was its ongoing efforts to reach a rapprochement with Iran, which would enable Tehran to have even more resources to give to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad embedded in Gaza.
As Biden talks out of both sides of his mouth about the Middle East, it’s clear that the one thing the administration is definitely intent on doing is to lead an international humanitarian effort to “rebuild” Gaza.
Doing so will be a way for Biden to show that he means what he says about supporting the Palestinians in such a way as to get credit from the growing faction of leftist Democrats who falsely think that Israeli counter-terror strikes in Gaza are the moral equivalent of Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck.
Biden clearly wants a policy that will appear to neither openly punish Israel nor reward Hamas. “Rebuilding” Gaza is, he thinks, the way to do it while advancing the creation of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Blinken and the other foreign-policy establishment luminaries that staff his administration still believe a two-state solution is the only way to prevent future outbreaks of fighting.
The fundamental mistake here is not just the notion that America can maintain its alliance with Israel while also being good friends with a Palestinian nationalist movement committed to the Jewish state’s destruction. Rather, the immediate problem is that Biden and Blinken think they can aid the people of Gaza without helping or even rewarding Hamas.
They cannot. What’s more, not only is that impossible, anything done to advance such an objective won’t be just a tactical error that will give Hamas a short-term advantage. It will also send a message to all Palestinians that the long-term objective of Hamas–namely, the elimination of Israel–is not only still on the table, but a realistic future option towards which they should work.
As the international community learned after it devoted many billions of dollars to aid to reconstruct Gaza after the 2014 war, it was virtually impossible to ensure that the money helped ordinary Palestinians rather than their Hamas tyrants. There has never been an example in history of cash pouring into a totalitarian regime–exactly what the Islamist-ruled, independent Palestinian state in all but name that exists in Gaza truly is–that could be kept out of the clutches of the rulers in one way or another.
Some homes destroyed because of Hamas’s policy of using civilians as human shields were indeed rebuilt after 2014. But most of the building material that was let into the coastal enclave went into rebuilding the terrorist group’s military infrastructure, including hundreds of kilometers of tunnels used for storing their armaments and providing shelters for their military personnel, though not civilians.
There is no reason to believe the next round of rebuilding will go any differently. Nor are there any grounds for believing that United Nations officials tasked with the job of guaranteeing that civilian needs are dealt with rather than those of Hamas, will do that.
While administration officials say they will try to force Hamas to choose between–in veteran peace processor Dennis Ross’ words, “their rockets and the well-being of Gaza”–to even suggest that they would ever choose the latter over the former is to take leave of reality altogether. This attitude always results in foreign officials allowing money and material to pour into Gaza, where it will be used by Hamas to make it an even more formidable military target.
The problem is that Biden, Blinken, the foreign-policy establishment, the liberal media that echoes their arguments and even those left-wingers who are pressuring the administration to be tougher on Israel still don’t understand what Hamas is after.
Blinken repeated this past weekend the pious hope that “there has to be” a prospect for a peaceful solution between Israel and Hamas. Some claim that Hamas is actually much more pragmatic than their Islamist ideology and wants a modus vivendi with the Jewish state, citing their willingness to accept a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza. But while Hamas is always practical when it comes to their survival and day-to-day tactics, their goals are unchanged.
As deputy chairman of the Hamas “political bureau” Musa Abu Marzouk stated in an interview last week (translated by MEMRI), this latest conflict is just one more among many other “wars” to come in pursuit of their ultimate goal: Israel’s elimination. Saying that his group was not composed of “dreamers,” he said that Israel will go the way of the Berlin Wall and the apartheid-era South African government.
“We are no dreamers. Until recently, they mocked Hamas’s rockets and called them children’s toys. I do not believe anyone is saying this today. Until recently, the whole world supported the white government in South Africa, but things have changed. Where did the Soviet Union go? Where did the Berlin Wall go? The day will come when people ask: ‘Where did Israel go?’ “
He’s serious. So are Hamas supporters and those in the West Bank who would prefer it to Abbas. And every step towards normalizing Hamas, rather than isolating and defeating it, is a signal to a Palestinian people who have been sold such fantasies for the last 100 years that their long war to defeat Zionism is not yet lost.
Rebuilding Gaza may help some Palestinians, but it will also enable Hamas to assert that there were no long-term consequences for their actions. By repeating the mistakes made by every administration prior to that of Trump, and reinforcing expectations that the West will not punish the Palestinians for terrorism and rejecting peace, Biden is not advancing a two-state solution.
To the contrary, he will be making peace even more impossible by indicating to the Palestinians that they don’t have to surrender to reality and accept Israel’s permanence and legitimacy. So-called humanitarian policies that are rooted in the pretense that the people there can be aided without requiring them to overthrow their Islamist masters is money spent on enabling Hamas, not peace or the welfare of the Palestinians.
It’s hard to resist arguments that appeal to our sympathy for those who are caught in the crossfire created by Hamas terrorism, even when they are not made in the context of appeals to delegitimize Israel’s right to exist or to defend itself. Nevertheless, the best thing Biden can do to actually advance the cause of peace is to not spend a cent on rebuilding the terrorist state in Gaza.

Back in July 2020 Scott McKay at American Spectator wrote an amazing piece on the Four Stages of Marxist Takeover.

McKay’s report is based on the words and warnings of Soviet defector Yuri Bezmenov.

It’s been seven months since the report was published and the situation today is even more dire than predicted. Even McKay would never have predicted the antics of the Marxist left during the 2020 elections. The Marxist takeover of America is well on its way.

Here are the four steps of Marxist takeover of America.

The first goal of revolutionary propaganda, particularly the Marxist variety, is to demoralize. It’s to depress you and make you believe your civilization is lost. Once you succumb to that, you are, in the words of Ming the Merciless, “satisfied with less.” Why do you think ordinary white people are so willing to apologize for the sins of their ancestors and to confess to being racist without even knowing it? Why do you think corporate America is blindly endorsing a Marxist revolutionary organization that openly declares war on the nuclear family?

That’s demoralization, and according to Bezmenov it’s the first step in engineered societal collapse.

What’s the second step? Destabilization.

Bezmenov describes that as a rapid decline in the structure of a society — its economy, its military, its international relations. We’ve discussed in this space the unquestionable impetus on the part of Democrats to keep the economy as hamstrung as possible with COVID-19 shutdowns, and those continue despite a precipitous decline in death rates as testing ramps up across the country. It’s clear the virus is no longer a significant threat to the health of Americans who don’t already have serious medical issues, and yet COVID hysteria is increasing, rather than decreasing. Just Wednesday the Ivy League shut down all its sporting events planned for the fall semester, an absurd decision that is nonetheless likely to be copied by other universities dominated by leftist political activists (the Big Ten, ACC, and SEC are all in various stages of planning conference-only schedules this fall, which makes no sense whatsoever). The virus is the perfect platform by which to impose the economic destabilization the Left has wanted all along.

No, that isn’t a conspiracy theory. They’re telling you it’s what they’re after. Do you believe Ilhan Omar was off-script when she suggested dismantling America’s economy as a system of oppression earlier this week? Ilhan Omar, who paid a political consultant $900,000 in fees last year, money that came from somewhere, isn’t smart enough to say these things without having the script written for her. She’s being trotted out to introduce them because she’s already radioactive and a lightning rod for criticism, and also because she’s (1) black, (2) Muslim, and (3) an immigrant, and even an illegal one. To criticize her statements as cracked bears the signature not of incisive reasoning but rather racism. So when other Democrats join her call you are no longer allowed to object.

Google Omar’s statements and what you’ll find is a loud cacophony of gaslighting by left-wing media outlets like Common Dreams, The Nation, the Washington Post, and others attacking Republicans for reacting to what they saw and heard on video as “meltdowns” and “losing their minds.” Even Snopes, the left-wing site purportedly acting as a fact-check operation, declares that Omar didn’t actually say what she said.

That’s destabilization. They’re fully engaged in it, whether you believe they’ve been successful or not. But ask Mark McCloskey, for example, whether or not he thinks it’s outlandish to suggest the American order has been destabilized. McCloskey told Tucker Carlson that after the police told him they couldn’t protect him after the incident where he and his wife used guns to protect their property from a mob of Black Lives Matter trespassers, he called around to private security firms for help and was given advice to get out of his house and let the mob do what they would. Does that sound like a stable society to you?

The third stage is crisis, the catalyzing event that builds on the first two stages to bring on the change the revolutionaries are looking for. Looking for a crisis? Take your pick. We barely even remember the fact that we just had only the third presidential impeachment in American history half a year ago, a constitutional crisis that was wholly and completely manufactured directly out of thin air. We progressed immediately from that to COVID-19, which was unquestionably a manufactured crisis — not that the virus itself isn’t deadly to a certain portion of the population, but if you think the panic and destruction it’s caused doesn’t smack of manufacture then it’s clear you’ve been demoralized.

And then the George Floyd riots and the paroxysms of violence and virtue-signaling those have brought on, complete with the current campaign to bowdlerize American history and culture in an increasingly indiscriminate fashion. That’s a crisis, everybody, and it’s a completely manufactured one. The speed of the cultural collapse that followed Floyd’s death — when the legal system moved very swiftly against the police officers responsible for it — makes it undeniable this was planned and only needed a catalyst.

What’s the fourth stage? Normalization. As in, a “new normal.” The statues and monuments are gone, the ball games are out, or at least you aren’t allowed in the stadium to watch them (and you’ve got to watch them on TV interspersed with commercial spots and in-game messaging pushing whatever memes and narratives the ESPNs and NBCs of the world and their Madison Avenue partners wish to implant in your mind), the schools have purged American history and culture, the Universal Basic Income checks have replaced your job, which you can’t do because the small business where you used to work has gone under thanks to the virus.

And Biden is president. For a little while, until it’s clear he’s incapacitated per the 25th Amendment, and then somebody else that you didn’t vote for is in charge of the country.

Out goes Kerensky. In comes … who knows what?

Scott McKay ends his history lesson with this nugget. This was back in July, before Democrats locked doors for two days to manufacture ballots, and drove in vans full of ballots at 3:30 AM, and pulled out suitcases of ballots hidden under tables to steal the landslide 2020 election from President Donald Trump.

Let’s hope your confidence none of this can happen is well-placed. Let’s hope Bezmenov was a crank like people think G. Edward Griffin is.

But just to be sure, let’s make damned sure Biden and the Democrats take an historic beating in November. We don’t want to find out what’s behind the curtain in Biden’s basement. Too many nasty things are already peeking out at us from there.

The revolution is upon us.
Pray to God that it is not too late for America.

YouTube is forbidding videos claiming widespread election fraud.

YouTube on Wednesday announced changes to how it handles videos about the 2020 presidential election, saying it would remove new videos that mislead people by claiming that widespread fraud or errors influenced the outcome of the election.

The company said it was making the change because Tuesday was the so-called safe harbor deadline — the date by which all state-level election challenges, such as recounts and audits, are supposed to be completed. YouTube said that enough states have certified their election results to determine that Joseph R. Biden Jr. is the president-elect.

YouTube’s announcement is a reversal of a much-criticized company policy on election videos. Throughout the election cycle, YouTube, which is owned by Google, has allowed videos spreading false claims of widespread election fraud under a policy that permits videos that comment on the outcome of an election. Under the new policy, videos about the election uploaded before the safe harbor deadline would remain on the platform, with YouTube appending an information panel linking to the Office of the Federal Register’s election results certification notice.

In a blog post on Wednesday, YouTube pushed back on the idea that it had allowed harmful and misleading elections-related videos to spread unfettered on its site. The company said that since September, it had shut down over 8,000 channels and “thousands” of election videos that violated its policies. Since Election Day, the company said, it had also shown fact-check panels over 200,000 times above relevant election-related search results on voter fraud narratives such as “Dominion voting machines” and “Michigan recount.”

Georgia has been a point of contention in the presidential election in 2020 as the “official” result has Joe Biden defeating Donald Trump by just a few thousand votes.

Claims of election fraud have been at the center of attention by those who believe this election has been stolen by the Democrats. Yet, to this day, the Democrats have claimed that there has been no definitive proof of fraud.

In the surveillance video below, you will see an election official in Georgia send everyone home, tell everyone they are going to stop counting for the night, clear the building out, and then, after everyone is gone, a few people hang around to count ballots. While they do this, they pull several suitcases of ballots out from under a table and count thousands of ballots, which, the witness believes to be far more than the margin of victory for Biden.

An investigation into the SEC filings of a Swiss bank with close connections to the Communist Chinese government has revealed that the firm that owns Dominion voting systems received $400 million from the bank prior to the U.S. elections.

“On Oct 8, 2020, Staple Street Capital filed SEC Form D offerings and sales amount of $400,000,000 with the Sales Compensation Recipient identified as UBS Securities,” states the investigation, which also notes that another payment of $200,000,000 was received in December 2014.

“UBS Securities is a Swiss investment bank which owns 24.99% of UBS Securities Co LTD, a Chinese Investment Bank. The remaining 75% of UBS Securities CO LTD is owned by the Chinese government.”

The recipient of the $400 million in stock, according to the SEC filings, as UBS Securities LLC located in New York City. UBS Securities LLC is a subsidiary of the Chinese-owned UBS Securities Co. LTD.

The ownership of UBS Securities Co. LTD is broken down as follows:

• Beijing Guoxiang (33%)
• UBS (24.99%)
• Guangdong Comm. Group [zh] (14.01%)
• China Guodian (14%)
• COFCO Group (14%)

The other four owners of UBS Securities are all Chinese government front groups, including Beijing Guoxiang, a state-owned asset, Guangdong Comm. “Why Are You Killing Christians?” Trump Asks Nigeria’s President

Earlier this year, Christian Solidarity International issued a “Genocide Warning for Christians in Nigeria” in response to the “rising tide of violence directed against Nigerian Christians and others classified as ‘infidels’ by Islamist militants”

Why are you killing Christians?” US President Donald J. Trump apparently shocked his Nigerian counterpart, Muhammadu Buhari, by asking this question the first time they met in the White House in April 2018. The Nigerian president admitted this, according to a September 8, 2020 report, toward the end of a recent talk with his cabinet members:
“When I was in his office, only myself and himself, with Allah as my witness, he looked at me in the face and said ‘why are you killing Christians?’ I wonder, if you were the person how you would react? I hope what I was feeling inside did not betray my emotion…”
He should not have been shocked. Several international observers characterize what Nigerian Christians experience not just as “persecution” but as a “pure genocide.”
Since 2009, “not less than 32,000 Christians have been butchered to death by the country’s main Jihadists,” according to a May 2020 report. Hundreds more have been killed since then. Earlier this year, Christian Solidarity International issued a “Genocide Warning for Christians in Nigeria” in response to the “rising tide of violence directed against Nigerian Christians and others classified as ‘infidels’ by Islamist militants….”
Under Buhari, who became Nigeria’s president in 2015, the carnage of Christians has only accelerated. According to a March 8, 2020 report, titled, “Nigeria: A Killing Field of Defenseless Christians,”
Available statistics have shown that between 11,500 and 12,000 Christian deaths were recorded in the past 57 months or since June 2015 when the present central [Buhari-led] government of Nigeria came on board. Out of this figure, Jihadist Fulani herdsmen accounted for 7,400 Christian deaths, Boko Haram 4,000 and the ‘Highway Bandits’ 150-200.”
In just the first four months of 2020, Fulani herdsmen and other terrorists “hacked to death … no fewer than 620 defenseless Christians,” and engaged in the “wanton burning or destruction of their centers of worship and learning”:
“The atrocities against Christians have gone unchecked and risen to alarming apogee with the country’s security forces and concerned political actors looking the other way or colluding with the Jihadists. Houses burnt or destroyed during the period are in their hundreds; likewise dozens of Christian worship and learning centers.”
How have formerly simple and unarmed Fulani herdsmen managed to kill, since 2015, nearly twice as many Christians as the “professional” terrorists of Boko Haram — and exponentially more Christians than under Buhari’s (Christian) predecessor, President Goodluck Jonathan? “Because,” according to numerous Christian leaders in Nigeria, “President Buhari is also of the Fulani ethnic group,” to quote Nigerian bishop Matthew Ishaya Audu.

The bishop is only one of a growing chorus of voices accusing the Muslim president not only of turning a blind eye to his clansmen’s slaughter of Christians, but actively exacerbating it — including with fighter jets. A few examples:
The Buhari government is “using the levers of power to secure the supremacy of Islam… The only difference between the government and Boko Haram is that Boko Haram is holding the bomb.” — Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.
Buhari “is openly pursuing an anti-Christian agenda that has resulted in countless murders of Christians all over the nation and destruction of vulnerable Christian communities.” — Bosun Emmanuel, secretary of the National Christian Elders Forum.
“Under President Buhari, the murderous Fulani herdsmen enjoyed unprecedented protection and favoritism… Rather than arrest and prosecute the Fulani herdsmen, security forces usually manned by Muslims from the North offer them protection as they unleash terror with impunity on the Nigerian people.” — Musa Asake, general secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
In a statement issued earlier this year, the Christian Association of Nigeria, an umbrella group representing most denominations, repeated that “the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari” is “colluding” with the Islamic terrorists “to exterminate Christians in Nigeria.”
Even the average persecuted Christian is aware of Buhari’s alleged role. After Muslim Fulani killed five Christians in a mini-store, Ibrahim Agu Iliya, a local Christian, explained why the terrorists were able to shoot for a full ten minutes — despite the presence of armed security — before absconding without a trace:
“These Muslim Fulani herdsmen have been attacking our communities because we are Christians. Their desire is to take over our lands, force us to become Muslims, and if we decline, they kill us…. The government’s inability to stop these Muslim Fulani herdsmen is because the government is being controlled by Fulani political leaders headed by Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s president, who’s also a Fulani man.”
Some Nigerian leaders blame Buhari’s rise to power on “the evil called Barack Obama” — in the words of Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria’s former Minister of Culture and Tourism, on February 12:
“What Obama, John Kerry and Hilary Clinton did to Nigeria by funding and supporting Buhari in the 2015 presidential election and helping Boko Haram in 2014/2015 was sheer wickedness and the blood of all those killed by the Buhari administration, his Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram over the last 5 years are on their hands.”
It was doubtless these disturbing statistics and accusations against Buhari that prompted Trump to ask why he was “slaughtering Christians in Nigeria.”
How did Buhari respond? He blamed “climate change and population growth.”
“I tried and explained to him,” continued Buhari, that “this has got nothing to do with ethnicity or religion. It is a cultural thing.”
Not only does such an argument ignore that culture often emerges from the blending of ethnicity and religion; it also fails to answer the central question: “Since the government and its apologists are claiming the killings have no religious undertones,” the Christian Association of Nigeria asked, “why are the terrorists and herdsmen targeting the predominantly Christian communities and Christian leaders?”
Similarly, as members of the Christian Association of Nigeria evidently wonder:
“How can it be a [secular or economic] clash when one group [Muslims] is persistently attacking, killing, maiming, destroying, and the other group [Christians] is persistently being killed, maimed and their places of worship destroyed?”
As Sister Monica Chikwe once explained, “It’s tough to tell Nigerian Christians this isn’t a religious conflict since what they see are Fulani fighters clad entirely in black, chanting ‘Allahu Akbar!’ and screaming ‘Death to Christians.'”
