“For he built again the high places which Chizkiyahu his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal.”
II Kings 21:3 (The Israel Bible™)
The same multinational group that recreated the Palmyra Victory Arch and sent it on a world tour has now recreated a statue of Athena, the Roman goddess of war, for an exhibit in the United Nations, an organization that claims to be working towards world peace but which one rabbi likens to modern-day paganism.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) officially inaugurated the Digital Archaeology Exhibition, “The Spirit in the Stone”, at the United Nations’ headquarters in New York City last Thursday. The UAE, the Italian mission to the UN, and the Institute of Digital Archaeology (IDA) cooperated in re-creating a statue of the Roman goddess Athena for the exhibit.
The original Athena statue stood in Palmyra, Syria, until it was destroyed by ISIS in 2015. The UAE announcement described the goddess as “synonymous with reason, refuge and the rule of law, all of the same values on which that historic institution was built,” but the statue depicts Athena in her classic pose grasping a spear, belying her prominent role as the Roman goddess of war.
It is also believed that the Roman goddess Athena was based on the earlier Mesopotamian goddess Ashera and was later incorporated into early Islam as al-Lāt, worshipped in Saudi Arabia as the consort of Allah mentioned in the Koran. This would be consistent with the statue’s history at the site in Palmyra, which was used as a temple by the Mesopotamians, Romans, and Muslims in succession.
Rabbi Elad Dokow, the head rabbi and lecturer at Israel’s Technion Institute of Technology, was not surprised that the United Nations would feature a display of pagan symbols.
“There is currently an unmistakable rise of paganism and idol worship in the world, more than any other religion, and it is naive to believe this display is disconnected from this phenomenon,” Rabbi Dokow told Breaking Israel News. “Paganism creates the ability for each man to create his own truth, as opposed to Judaism and Christianity, which state that there is an objective truth man must abide by. The UN, like paganism, is a place of subjective reality created by a vote.”
“What we are seeing in the world today is that every place Christianity grows weak, paganism and idolatry grow stronger, and where Christianity disappears, horrible things happen.”
Though an initiative bringing together the Muslim-majority UAE with Italy to recreate a Roman pagan idol seems incongruous, just such a union was described in Jewish prophecy, first alluded to in Psalms.
For they have consulted together with one consent; against Thee do they make a covenant; The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moav, and the Hagrites. Psalms 83:6-7
The first-century Jewish sage Jonathan ben Uzziel described how this Biblical alliance between Ishmael and Esau would reappear in war at the End of Days.
“Great ships full of weapons will depart as a large fleet from Roman Italy and will join up with a legion that will depart from Constantine [this is Ishmael]. They will harm the inhabitants of other lands, and subjugate the descendants of Eber [a reference to Israel].”
The UAE has worked with the IDA in the past. Their first collaboration, the 3-D printed Arch of Palmyra, was prominently featured in the UN exhibit as a full-size projection onto a screen. The original Arch of Palmyra was a Roman victory arch that stood for 1,800 years in front of the temple to the pagan god Ba’al in Palmyra until, like the statue of Athena, it was destroyed by ISIS.
Ba’al was the form of idol worship frequently mentioned in the Bible as accompanying the worship of the female false goddess, Ashera.
They rejected all the commandments of Hashem their God; they made molten idols for themselves—two calves—and they made a sacred post [Ashera] and they bowed down to all the host of heaven, and they worshiped Baal. II Kings 17:16
The reproduction of the Arch was first presented in April last year at London’s Trafalgar Square for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Week. The unveiling coincided with the most important pagan holiday of the year, Beltane, ushering in a 13-day period known in the occult as “the Blood Sacrifice to the Beast”, which was traditionally celebrated with child sacrifice and bisexual orgies.
Similar to the current display of Athena at the UN, the Palmyra Arch was also displayed at events associated with a world government. It was the centerpiece of the World Government Summit in Dubai last February, and appeared in Sarona, Italy in June, its display intentionally coinciding with the G7 Summit of world leaders.

Look no farther for the “Mark Of The Beast.” Manmade Artificial Intelligence will rule during the Great Tribulation period, and what we are now seeing is a foreshadow or precursor. Elsewhere on this blog site, a gentleman in a large auditorium full of spectators, holds a small drone, lets it go, and it went deep into the skull of a pre programmed dummy. Of course anyone can be programmed with this kind of weaponry. This kind of weaponry and crime fighter will one day get into the wrong hands. It is the perfect fulfillment of man’s false god(s), fulfilling fallen man’s incomplete utopia outside of God in the number six (6). Praise the Lord, He is the ONLY One who will fulfill our spiritual needs, and He is represented by His perfect number of spiritual fulfillment – seven (7).

Meet The New Crimefighter: AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) is in the headlines every week now from driverless cars to high-frequency stock trading algorithms that outperform any human. Computers now beat the best human players at chess and almost any other game and have even begun to interpret emotions from facial expressions and create works of art.
AI has also surprised human doctors at diagnosing difficult-to-spot eye conditions on scans. Yet as much as these advances may make our lives easier, it is this last area, visual recognition, that corporations and governments around the world are now using to build an unprecedented surveillance state.
There are between 5 and 5.9 million surveillance cameras in the United Kingdom and over 176 million now in China. But for this vast network of recording devices to be truly effective, they would need an equally vast number of humans watching them in real time, around the clock.
It would be impossible to monitor every camera in real time and experiments have demonstrated that human attention spans reduce significantly after only 20 minutes of video footage, and dramatically so if they attempt to watch more than one screen. Artificial intelligence trained to detect human activity, recognize faces, identify silhouettes and track movement in shadows has no such limitation.
Not only will artificial intelligence monitor tens of millions of video feeds in real time, but it will enter the data into a predictive matrix.
When computer recognition for video footage, by itself, is combined with the vast pattern-matching potential of artificially intelligent algorithms, the system begins not only to detect crimes in progress but predict them before they occur and send law enforcement or security resources there ahead of time.
Though this idea may sound farfetched, a location-based variant is already in use in Milan, Italy and Los Angeles, California.
By mapping very specific crime statistics (time of day, type of crime, location) onto a map and creating a complex pattern of associations within the data, the algorithm is able to predict the probable time and location of the next crime. Whereas it remains simply a general prediction, this crude system allows law enforcement better to deploy their resources.
The system employed in Milan is known as KeyCrime and has been predicting robberies for more than ten years. The American version, PredPol, is now hard at work in 40% of the nation’s largest police departments, again providing estimates of the time and location for future crimes. But the systems now coming online in China and elsewhere go much further.
With the use of video-linked artificial intelligence, the system grows exponentially more powerful and can operate in real time. By linking security camera footage to individuals and feeding it with thousands of data points about each subject, the goal becomes not simply to predict when and where a crime might occur, but who will be responsible.
The artificial intelligence watches you purchase a kitchen knife and it files the information away and does not act. But a week later, if you buy a roll of tape and a set of gloves, the system may consider this alongside a variation in your daily traffic patterns to flag your behavior for analysis.
The Chinese company Uniview is tasked with identifying Chinese citizens who travel to specific countries, such as Vietnam and Myanmar, and then marking them for more intensive data collection. In July of this year, the Chinese government announced that it plans to spend $150 billion to construct an artificial intelligence industry by the end of 2030.
With the ability to design new products, develop, build more advanced AI systems, and surveil citizens, the use of AI in policing is set to become pervasive.
Li Meng, the vice-minister of science and technology in China, pointed to crime prediction as a task for AI within the government, “If we use our smart systems and smart facilities, we can know beforehand… who might be a terrorist, who might do something bad,” the vice-minister said. Bad, such as opposing the authoritarian rule of the Communist Party.
In Russia, VisionLabs is providing advanced, real-time facial recognition software to the government and in the United States, the software and hardware company Nvidia is doing so as well. Marc Rotenberg is the President of the Electronic Privacy Information Center.
He has been active in pointing out how the accelerated growth of these technologies raises privacy risks. “Some of these techniques can be helpful, but there are huge privacy issues when systems are designed to capture identity and make a determination based on personal data,” Rotenberg believes. “That’s where issues of secret profiling, bias and accuracy enter the picture.”
With traditional computer programming models, the code may be complex but is still decipherable to human programmers. With trainable and evolved artificial intelligence systems, the code is now becoming a black box because it is modified not by the programmers but by its own interaction with the environment.
With such systems as are being developed to match patterns among vast seas of complex data, there really is no way to understand how it thinks, and thus controlling or policing such a system becomes impossible for humans.
It is entirely possible that we are building the perfect police state and its level of control will be both absolute and outside of the reach of its human masters.

“Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.” (Habakkuk 2:19)
How foolish are those who worship idols—objects of wood and stone with no life in them, not even when they are adorned in silver and gold. Can inanimate objects come to life and even become teachers? A child knows better.
But not college professors! All over the land, these proud purveyors of “science falsely so called” are indoctrinating young minds with the absurd belief that inorganic substances can somehow first become simple living substances and then eventually organize themselves all the way up to being people. They would not, of course, suggest that sticks and stones could suddenly become human (neither did the ancient idolaters, for that matter). They just believe that time—lots of it—can magically develop people out of much simpler substances than even these ancient philosophers ever imagined. “In the beginning, hydrogen” is their arrogant notion.
But God will not be mocked in this way forever. Life can only come from life—ultimately from the living God! The wooden idol of the pagan is every bit as scientific as the evolutionary models of the modern intellectual; neither one can create life. “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: . . . They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them” (Psalm 115:4-5, 8).
Only God can create life, and He can even cause stones to teach. “Speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: . . . Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?” (Job 12:8-9). HMM
The foolishness of evolution and idol worship knows no bounds. It takes a stubborn, strong willed, Antichrist spirit to believe that no one plus nothing, and a whole lot of time made everything. Likewise, the folly of idol worship is also off the charts. Since the fall in the garden, man has taken to worshipping the creation rather than the Creator. I cannot help but remember the rebellious Israelites in the wilderness, when Moses climbed Mount Horeb.
Exodus 32:24 King James Version (KJV)
24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
We would laugh at the last five highlighted words from this scriptural text if they were not so sad.

Top Bible Prophecy Stories Of 2017
By Jan Markell/Olivetreeviews.org December 29, 2017
Pieces of the eschatological puzzle continue to manifest daily. Even signs that are primarily Tribulation events are casting a shadow today. As I perused news stories of the year, I selected 15 items that tell us time is short. The King is coming soon. Don’t ever doubt that.
1. Jerusalem became a greater “burdensome stone” with Donald Trump’s acknowledgement that this is truly Israel’s capital and holy city. See Zechariah 12:3. Greater controversy will surround her in the year ahead.
2. The Gog-Magog alliance went on fast-forward. Iran, Turkey, and Russia are uniting with a primary goal in mind — coming against Israel as foreshadowed in Ezekiel 38-39. Turkey’s Erdogan threatened to “wipe out all Jews” after the Jerusalem announcement.
3. A new false god came on the scene and many hailed its arrival. An ex-Google executive is founding a church where artificial intelligence will be worshiped. It’s called AI for short and keep your eyes on this in 2018.
4. The scoffing of eschatology went to a new level. Many said the announcement concerning Jerusalem was received well by many Christians only because it will hasten Christ’s return. Many who love prophecy have given up finding a church that will address this.
5. Tribulation Temple talk escalated after Donald Trump’s announcement concerning Jerusalem.
6. One salacious scandal followed another in 2017 revealing that man’s character now reflects the end-time warnings of Romans 1 and II Timothy 3.
7. Israel continued pounding targets in Syria foreshadowing the day when she will carry out the prophetic verse found in Isaiah 17:1 — the destruction of Damascus.
8. The idea of micro-chipping is now so accepted that one news outlet said people will soon be eager to be micro-chipped. It was suggested that we will eagerly line up like dogs for a chip.
9. As predicted, evil is waxing worse and worse (II Timothy 3:13). Pagan gods are appearing in many places including at the U.N. The occult is more appealing than ever and Millennials are “spellbound” by the paranormal.
10. Lawlessness is growing and the ‘spirit of Antichrist’ seems to be poured out on the earth in greater ways this past year. The Antifa movement is one illustration. George Soros is busier than ever in his waning years.
11. There has been an intensification of calling evil good (Isaiah 5:20). Islamic jihad proponent Linda Sarsour made threatening comments about President Trump yet almost became Time magazine’s “person of the year.” In the mind of the Left, Islam must be celebrated.
12. The world of technology has declared war on Christians and conservatives. Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and more, are pulling the plug or limiting righteous comments and ideology yet they often celebrate evil. This reached new levels in 2017.
13. The terms “peace and security” are used in the Bible in I Thessalonians 5:3. It is false peace and security. The term was used with greater intensity in the last year. Donald Trump has been heralded as the president who will bring Israel “peace and security.” On December 18, Fox News said President Trump would bring peace and security around the globe. The President stated that he “has laid a pathway to peace and security in our world.”
14. In spite of world turmoil, there is a greater “business-as-usual” atmosphere particularly in America. Since Donald Trump has been President, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has closed at record highs 82 times. The Bible suggests there will be such a comfortable time on earth when Christ returns in spite of the frequent “birth pangs” which have also been record-setting.
15. There is even more evidence that only Jesus ruling and reigning from Jerusalem will provide great government. It has become evident that mankind cannot drain a swamp filled with alligators and poisonous snakes! Washington is corrupt to the core because mankind’s heart is “desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9). Draining the swamp was a great campaign slogan but 2017 showed us that first man’s heart must be made new.
We can look at a list like this and focus on ” sighs of the times” rather than realize that they are ” signs of the times.” The pieces of the puzzle continue to fall into place. Nothing is falling apart but instead falling into place.
Because of the turmoil of our times, someone said that the future is not what it used to be. Not true. The future was foretold and is playing out with a precise script and a predictable end only because it is all outlined in scripture. We can watch it in high-definition color with surround sound and even in 3D. We have front row seats!
The King is coming, perhaps today.

Mecca, Saudi Arabia is the spiritual home of Islam

Mecca, Saudi Arabia is the spiritual home of Islam
It is planned to extend over multiple nations and to dwarf New York City at 33 times its size. The costs are expected to be hundreds of billions of dollars, and it is already attracting investments from some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world.
It’s Neom, the new mega-city planned by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salmon.
Located on the Red Sea coast, the city will have a special legal status within Saudi Arabia and will supposedly be fully automated, with robots outnumbering humans.
The city is also supposed to be powered entirely by renewable energy sources, feature free high-speed Internet and will extend over 10,231 square miles, crossing the Egyptian and Jordanian borders. The crown prince also spoke of the kingdom’s willingness to embrace what he called a “normal” life, promoting a form of Islam that “translates to tolerance, to our traditions of kindness.”
Saudi Arabia has debuted a flashy promotional video intended to attract foreign investment, vowing to build a center for global culture with “nothing to hold you back.”
“No set ways of thinking, no restrictions, no divisions, no excuses,” claims the narrator, speaking in a British accent. “Just endless potential. This is the blank page you need to write humanity’s next chapter. Neom … a part of the world set aside for those who want to change the world.”
The global financial elite are already rallying around the project. The Economist proclaimed:
“At the launch were an ebullient Masayoshi Son, the Japanese head of a $100bn ‘Vision Fund’, and Stephen Schwarzman, head of Blackstone, a private-equity giant. Klaus Kleinfeld, a former boss of Arconic, Alcoa and Siemens, is to be NEOM’s chief executive. The prospect of creating a dynamic zone without the barriers to enterprise found elsewhere in the country has such people genuinely enthused.”
Such grandiose pronouncements already are drawing criticism. The kingdom has already tried to construct the “King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh,” billed as the “world’s next great economic city.”
But despite a projected population of 2 million people, there are only 5,000 permanent residents. There are also doubts whether Saudi Arabia’s bureaucracy can effectively administer such a massive project. In addition, the fall in oil prices is limiting the amount of cash the Saudis have to fund such an expansive project.
But another critic is worried about the more disturbing implications of the plan. Joel Richardson, the New York Times bestselling author of “The Islamic Antichrist,” believes he has solved the biblical riddle of “Mystery Babylon” in his book of that title.
And he argues the location of the end times’ city of evil is in Saudi Arabia, making the kingdom’s newest plans to become an economic superpower deeply worrisome.
One of the greatest mysteries in Scripture – solved at last! Discover the terrifying truth behind the shadowy identity of one of the greatest horrors of the end times. New York Times bestselling author Joel Richardson reveals the secret of “Mystery Babylon.” Available now in the WND Superstore.
“Throughout church history, interpreters, commentators and students of the Bible have struggled to understand the identity of a last days city known as ‘Babylon the Great’ (Revelation 17-18),” Richardson told WND.
“Many have looked to the city of Rome as the fulfillment, while others have looked to Jerusalem, or New York City. Others have been awaiting a city to be rebuilt on the literal site of the ancient Babylon about 50 miles south of Baghdad in modern day Iraq. In my book ‘Mystery Babylon,’ I suggested the kingdom of Saudi Arabia may be a more appropriate, and even more biblically defensible position. Specifically, I look to the city of Mecca, the single greatest city of idolatry that mankind has ever produced.
“Well over a billion and a half people bow down five times daily and pray toward that great city. The mosque in its center which houses the famous Kabba, or cube-shaped shrine that Muslims pray toward, is literally the single most visited location in the whole earth, with millions upon multiplied millions of religious pilgrims visiting each year.”
Richardson does not take seriously Saudi claims of favoring a “tolerant” form of Islam.
“Saudi Arabia is the single greatest source of funding for the spread of radical Wahhabi Islam all over the earth,” he said. “Over the past 40 years, the Saudis have spent roughly $150 billion to build mosques and fill them with radical Wahhabi hate preachers all over the earth. They have arguably spent more to spread Wahhabism around the earth than the entire mission spending of the global Protestant church. From any given madrassa in Pakistan to the mosque in your town or city, it is likely it was paid for by the Saudi royal family. No other nation in the earth has done as much as the Saudis to spread a false religion throughout the earth in such a way that its fundamental character has been so permanently impacted.”
Richardson believes the effort to build a new “mega city” supports his claim “Mystery Babylon” will be located within Saudi Arabia.
“Students of biblical prophecy have long noted that the book of Revelation speaks not simply of a city, but of a ‘mega-city’ that will emerge in the last days,” he observed. “Consider the massive building projects taking place in and around Mecca and Jeddah, which will soon feature the world’s newest and tallest building, dwarfing the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Just to the north, the Saudis have been quietly building the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), which is slated to become the region’s most technologically advanced sea port. All three cities – Jeddah, Mecca and KAEC – will soon be linked by a high-speed rail line which will allow anyone to get from one city to the next in less than 30 minutes.
“There is no doubt that this emerging megalopolis will match all of the unique descriptions of the last days Babylon, combining idolatry, religious power and economic power into one desert sea-port. It is for this reason that students of God’s Word are taking a fresh and serious look at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its relationship to biblical prophecy. Now, the Saudis have announced this massive project to the north of Mecca and Jeddah. Truly, this would fulfill the description of a ‘mega-city’ as mentioned in the Book of Revelation.”
Richardson, a frequent critic of Saudi influence on American politicians, acknowledges the kingdom will find it difficult to realize its breathtaking ambitions. Nonetheless, he warns the rapid expansion of Saudi influence throughout the world and the construction of a sprawling metropolis straight out of the pages of Scripture should command the attention of faithful Christians.
“Any watchful student of prophecy will be paying very close attention,” he said. “We should be paying attention not only to ‘Neom,’ but to all that is now unfolding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the ancient and modern day fountainhead of a violent false religion now bursting out into the nations.”

Revelation 13:16-18 King James Version (KJV)
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Technology in place for Bible’s ‘mark of the beast’

Disclaimer: Christians must be careful to avoid what I call the “Chicken Little Sky Is Falling / Knee Jerk” mindset. Having this technology does not mean the Tribulation Period is five days away. For instance, the atomic bomb has been on the market for seventy two years, and only detonated for destruction twice at its’ inception – at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. Blessings, Pastor Steve
Jeff Swanson interviewed by Doug Hagmann and Joe Hagmann
Jeff Swanson has a website planbible.com It is his life work that produced a chronological Bible that is in order verse by verse. It is the only one of its kind.
Where are we in the prophetical time line? Jeff believes the signs at the end times will intensify and occur in rapid order within a relatively brief period of time.
Are we seeing prophecy fulfilled everyday in the headlines? Yes. They are not single events, but merging patterns and seasons. The Middle East is falling together. Nations are becoming antisemitic and standing against Israel. Genesis 12:3 “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee.” When the United States went against Israel, the Lord allowed us to be punished in the exact same amount through Hurricane Katrina.
There are 800 prophecies/verses that have been fulfilled in the Bible. There are 2,500 prophecies/verses yet to be fulfilled.
Jeff Swanson’s studies of the Bible and his expertise in mathematics have enabled him to date key Biblical events. Consider the following:
Using the Julian, Gregorian and Jewish calendars, Jeff Swanson completed 66 calculations and arrived at a creation date of 3960 B.C. Jeff agreed with the famous Archbishop James Ussher (author of Annals of the World) on all but two calculations. They arrived at creation dates only 44 years apart. Ussher’s date of creation is 4004 B.C.
Jeff Swanson’s other dates are:
Date of Christ’s birth: September 11, 3 B.C. (Julian Calendar)
Christ’s Crucifixion: April 3, 33 A.D. (Julian Calendar
Christ’s Crucifixion: April 1, 33 A.D. (Gregorian Calendar)
Jeff Swanson advised Christians that the Lord has placed each of us within a particular sphere of influence. We are to be faithful to the people who God has placed in our lives. We are touching more people than we realize. After we leave this earth, the Lord will use the legacy of our lives to continually touch people in a powerful way that we do not fully understand. [This was one of the most profound statements that I ever heard in a prophecy conference. The interviewers, Haggman and Hagmann were touched by it as well].
Listen below to Eric Hovind and Paul Taylor interview Jeff Swanson about the same subjects discussed above:
