Joe Biden has now invoked a Higher Power in his battle with Pro-Life opponents as he continues to twist scripture so that evil is good and good is evil.

Nearly two years after launching a “whole-of-government approach” to support the abortion industry, President Joe Biden has now invoked a Higher Power. At a campaign stop in Florida on Tuesday, Biden made the sign of the Cross in an apparent attempt to ward off pro-life legislation, mocked the notion that miracles happen in politics, and wondered aloud about “what the Hell is in” the Bible.

During a pro-abortion speech in Tampa, the purportedly “devout Catholic” Biden lashed out at former President Donald Trump for allegedly being a pro-life extremist. The 46th president seemed incredulous that the 45th president “described the Dobbs decision as a ‘miracle.’ Maybe it’s coming from that Bible he’s trying to sell. Whoa. I almost wanted to buy one just to see what the hell is in it.”

It seems curious Joe Biden wouldn’t have picked up some of the fundamentals of the Bible from attending daily Mass before going to “the black church” every Sunday, between stops in the Greek Orthodox and Puerto Rican communities, all after attending synagogue on Shabbat. 

That was but one facet of Biden’s inversion of Scripture. At a meeting with volunteers in Tampa, Biden invoked the power of our Lord’s precious and life-giving Cross as a guest speaker discussed abortion.

Biden made the holy gesture as Nikki Fried — the current chair of the Florida Democratic Party and former state commissioner of agriculture, who lost the 2022 Democratic gubernatorial primary to a former Republican by 14 points — belittled Governor Ron DeSantis (R) for signing a bill that halted abortion once babies have a detectable fetal heartbeat. “Ron DeSantis felt like he needed to run for president, and so [protecting unborn life at] 15 weeks wasn’t good enough. We had to go to six weeks,” inveighed Fried. 

As Fried uttered those sentences, Joe Biden made the sign of the Cross, apparently trying to ward off the heartbeat bill from becoming law. But as it turns out, Jesus is pro-life, Ron DeSantis is a leader, and on May 1 the Heartbeat Protection Act will become the Heartbeat Protection law.

Making the sign of the Cross at an abortion rally would be entirely appropriate … for an exorcist. One of the foremost figures of the early Church wrote, “By the sign of the Cross all magic is stopped, and all witchcraft brought to nothing, and all the idols are being deserted and left, and every unruly pleasure is checked.” But for the nation’s second Catholic president to make a sacred gesture of his faith to mock the sanctity of life — a teaching of his church, the Bible, and his Savior — is sacrilegious.

The Bible — in any translation, with or without any individual’s endorsement — makes abundantly clear the Cross is the preeminent Christian sign, reconciling a holy God with sinful mankind. For that reason, Christians have always embraced, cherished, and clung to the Old Rugged Cross. 

The sign of the Cross is an ancient Christian prayer. Scripturally, the Christian makes the sign of the Cross to show he plans to fulfill the Great Commandment to love God with all his mind (forehead), heart, and strength (shoulders). Early church writings seem to indicate that originally, it was traced on the forehead with the thumb, perhaps calling to mind Bible verses about God sealing the faithful by placing His mark on their foreheads. (See Exodus 13:16, Ezekiel 9:3-6, and Revelation 14:1 and 22:4.)

Over time, it became standard to make the sign of the Cross over the whole body. The exact method varied geographically, but eventually all traditional Christians — Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Copts, Armenians, Ethiopians, Anglicans, Lutherans, and others — came to begin all their prayers with this sign, asking the blessing of the Holy Trinity.

Early Christians took their role as the people of the Cross so seriously — and placed such trust in Christ crucified — that they used this holy sign to sanctify, and drive demons out of, everything. The early church leader Tertullian (160-240 A.D.) wrote, “At every step and movement, at every going in and out, when we put on our clothes and shoes, when we bathe, when we sit at table, when we light the lamps, on couch, on seat, in all the ordinary actions of daily life, we trace upon the forehead the sign [of the Cross].” 

St. Cyril of Jerusalem (d. 386) told those preparing for baptism that making the sign of the Cross is how Christians “confess the Crucified.” It is “our seal, made with boldness by our fingers on our brow and in everything; over the bread we eat and the cups we drink, in our comings and in our goings out; before our sleep, when we lie down and when we awake; when we are traveling, and when we are at rest.”

The one thing early Christians did not do is use the sign of the Cross as a joke, much less to bless demonic activity. Joe Biden has a strange history of using Christ’s Cross as a punchline. In a 2019 campaign speech, then-candidate Biden responded to claims that he was too friendly to Republicans by crossing himself while mouthing the first words a Catholic says in confession: “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.” 

Biden bizarrely also made the sign of the Cross during a joint press conference last September with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, when Netanyahu mentioned the two had been “friends” for “over 40 years” — an apparently playful reference to the octogenarian’s longevity.

Some have indicated that Biden intended his latest mockery of Christ’s Cross as a requiem for the DeSantis presidential campaign. Or he could have indicated that he intends for his Justice Department to challenge one or both of the pro-life protections. Others may say Biden’s continual invocation of this faithful sign shows his desire to sanctify even banal statements of politics. 

But perpetually making the sign of the Cross does not indicate piety. Our soul inclines toward the actions our bodies commit and the words our mouths speak. To use holy things flippantly falls under the category of taking the Lord’s Name in vain.

When the president — during a visit to secure his position as the leader of the nation — applies this classical mark of the Christian to abortion, which Christianity has taught for 2,000 years is murder, it rises to the level of calling “evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). That notion is heightened by Nikki Fried who, one day after her joint appearance with Biden, declared Republicans who passed pro-life laws protecting babies from abortion “have blood on their hands.”

Politicians who support dismembering innocent children in the womb have blood on their hands — the same hands they use to make the sign of the Cross over the abortion industry. Joe Biden has repeatedly said he believes he is fighting “a battle for the soul of this nation.” 

He has repeatedly invoked spiritual powers while promoting immoral policies and jailing pro-life advocates. In his 2023 State of the Union address, he called on Congress to “restore the soul of this nation” by expanding abortion. And Biden has declared, “Transgender Americans shape our nation’s soul.” 

With each day, the spiritual warfare lurking below the surface of our political discourse manifests itself more fiercely. Christians must remember “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). 

Therefore, “we do not war after the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds” (II Corinthians 10:3-4). But the president making the sign of the Cross over the blood-drenched abortion industry should serve as a wake-up call that the spiritual combat is all-too real. And the spiritual battle must be joined with the spiritual weapons of prayer, fasting, and complete faith that “the battle is the Lord’s.”

As Biden blesses the unthinkable, Christians must pray, vote, and stand.

Why Are Leaders All Over The World Warning That World War III Is Very Close?

Prominent leaders all over the globe are starting to publicly acknowledge that World War III is coming with British Defense Minister Grant Shapps warning that we are now in a “pre-war world”.

Prominent leaders all over the globe are starting to publicly acknowledge that World War III is coming.  In many cases they are expressing hope that it can still be avoided, but that becomes less likely with each passing day.  

Multiple parties are escalating the conflict in the Middle East, the war in Ukraine has entered a dangerous new phase, and the election that just happened in Taiwan has made a Chinese invasion much more probable.  

So what is going to happen if major powers start tangling with one another all over the planet?  We really are on the brink of the unthinkable, but most people in the general population have no idea how dire things have become.

On Monday, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps warned that we are now in a “pre-war world” and that western powers could soon find themselves fighting Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea…

…now is the time for all allies and democratic nations across the world to… make sure their defence spending is growing too. Because as discussed, the era of the peace dividend is over. In five years time we could be looking at multiple theatres including Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea.

…we find ourselves at the dawn of this new era. The Berlin Wall a distant memory but we have come full circle, moving from a post-war to a pre-war world. An age of idealism has been replaced by a period of hard-headed realism.

I was stunned that he was willing to give the public such an honest assessment.

But of course he is right.

Multiple wars are coming.

U.S. officials are issuing similar warnings.  Here is one example…

A source inside the Pentagon has warned Daily Express US that “we are on the brink of World War 3” amid surging conflict in the Middle East sparked largely by Iran.

The source inside the Pentagon that issued this rather ominous warning is a man named Nicholas Drummond, and he claims that the current war in the Middle East could literally result in “the end of Iran”…

Defence expert Nicholas Drummond echoed concerns that the conflict in the Middle East could potentially escalate but warned that if Tehran directly attacked Israel, the ensuing war would be “the end of Iran”.

So exactly what sort of weapons would be required to bring about “the end of Iran”?

You might want to reflect on that for a moment.

There is also a lot of talk about World War III in Russia.  In fact, one of Russia’s most prominent news anchors named Vladimir Solovyov recently told his audience that our planet is “moving towards World War III”…

“We are moving towards World War III. In my opinion, it’s already underway. By the way Trump thinks so too,” the Russian presenter added, as he tried to cut to a soundbite of the former president condemning U.S. strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.

Yes, he was actually quite correct about Donald Trump.

Not too long ago, Trump publicly warned a crowd in Iowa that “we’re very close to World War III”…

“World War III, we’re very close. I don’t know if you feel it. I don’t know, madam attorney general, if you feel it, but we’re very close to World War III when you see these discussions taking place.”

Personally, I am entirely convinced that World War III has already started, but what Trump and others are talking about is the hot phase when missiles start flying all over the place and millions of people die.

And we are so close to that right now.  The following comes from a Daily Mail article entitled “The descent into World War 3: How Russia, Iran and China are simultaneously making moves that will drag us all into conflict”…

Leaked German intelligence documents suggest Berlin expects Russia to launch another wave of attacks to overwhelm Ukraine, and is scrambling to come up with contingency plans in the event Russian troops march westward from Belarus.

Civil Defence Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin sent shockwaves through Europe as he said there “could be war in Sweden”.  Referring to emergency planners and authorities who should prepare for worst-case scenarios, he said: “If there is one thing that keeps me awake at night, it is the feeling that things are moving too slowly.”

Swedish military commander-in-chief General Micael Byden supported this take, saying Swedes should prepare mentally for the possibility of a conflict in light of the rising global tensions and the constant threat posed by Russia.

The Swedish general, who visited Ukraine’s eastern front in December, later told Aftonbladet newspaper: “My ambition with this is not to worry people; my ambition is to get more people to think about their own situation and their own responsibilities.”

Sweden’s bid to access NATO, which only needs a green light from Turkey and Hungary, has also increased fears of a retaliatory move by the Kremlin.

In December, a few months after Finland joined the Western alliance after ditching its neutral stance, Vladimir Putin ominously said: “They [the West] took Finland and dragged it into NATO! Why, did we have any disputes with Finland? All disputes, including those of a territorial nature in the middle of the 20th century, have all been resolved long ago.

“There were no problems, but now there will be, because we will now create the Leningrad military district there and definitely concentrate military units there.”

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sweden has been providing aid to the war-torn country and is one of the nations training Ukrainian pilots ahead of the delivery of military aircraft.

Deputy Chair of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev claimed in a post to X in early December that there hasn’t been such a high threat of “direct confrontation” between Russia and NATO since the Cold War, criticizing President Joe Biden’s administration for funding Ukraine’s fight against Russia and causing a prolonged war.

Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Russian-state-owned broadcaster RT, predicted on Monday that World War III will “definitely” break out in the Middle East.

In a series of posts to X, formerly Twitter, Simonyan, who the U.S. State Department deems a Kremlin propagandist, raised questions about when world powers, including the United States, would spark a major conflict. 

“And now the third world war,” Simonyan posted to X Monday evening. “Whether a world war will break out now or a little later depends on whether Washington believes that it will be useful to it now, before the elections, or vice versa. Judging by the choral silence of the American media, they are still thinking.”

“A world war will definitely start,” Simonyan said in a separate post on Monday. “And with almost complete probability – precisely in the Middle East.”

The Israel-Hamas conflict threatens to spread violence across the Middle East, with Iran’s so-called ‘Axis of Resistance’ – including Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Houthi rebels – increasing their attacks on Israel and commercial shipping routes, prompting the UK and US to launch a series of devastating strikes by air and sea.

Further East, Taiwan’s election of a new democracy-loving president has angered Beijing even further, with a Chinese invasion of the island nation in the coming years looking ever more likely.

It is likely that the Middle East will be the first flashpoint to fully erupt.

The region has become so unstable over the past couple of months, and the entire world was stunned this week when Iran decided to launch missiles and drones into Iraq, Syria and Pakistan…

Within 24 hours, Iran launched missile and drone strikes on targets in three countries — Iraq, Syria and Pakistan — and took the extraordinary step of announcing its responsibility for the attacks, triggering anger from its neighbors.

So why did Iran do this?

The Iranians claim that the strike in Iraq targeted “an Israeli spy hub”…

Baghdad recalled its ambassador to Iran after the Monday night attack on its northern semi-autonomous Kurdistan region killed four civilians and injured at least six. Tehran said the strike targeted an Israeli spy hub near the U.S. consulate in Erbil, the Kurdistan regional capital city. Iraqi Kurdish Prime Minister Masrour Barzani rejected the Iranian claim, describing the attack as a “crime against the Kurdish people.”

Iraq’s Foreign Ministry, meanwhile, called the attacks a “violation of international law” and said it would file a complaint with the U.N. Security Council. France’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Iran was “contributing to the escalation of regional tensions — and it must stop.”

As for the strikes in Syria and Pakistan, the Iranians claim that they were trying to hit Sunni groups that commit acts of terrorism…

Tehran also hit what it said were Islamic State targets in northern Syria in tandem with its strikes on Iraq. It then went on to target the headquarters of a Sunni armed group in Pakistan’s western Balochistan province near the Iranian border.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that it “strongly condemns the unprovoked violation of its airspace by Iran” which it said killed two children and injured three more. It added that “it is even more concerning that this illegal act has taken place despite the existence of several channels of communication between Pakistan and Iran.”

In response, Pakistan launched strikes on separatist militants inside Iran on Thursday with Iranian media saying several missiles hit a village in the Sistan-Baluchestan province that borders Pakistan, killing at least nine people, including four children.

The tit-for-tat strikes are the highest-profile cross-border intrusions in recent years and could potentially draw Pakistan into the war in the Middle East.

And let us not forget that Pakistan has nuclear weapons.

It is very unusual for Iran to be this aggressive directly instead of using it’s proxies to do it’s dirty work.

And Iran’s Defense Minister is promising that his nation will not hesitate to conduct similar missile strikes in the future…

The morning after Iranian attacks on neighboring Pakistan and Iraq, Iran’s defense minister vowed Wednesday that his country would “not set any limits” on using its missile capabilities against enemies whenever necessary.

“We are a missile power in the world,” the minister, Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, told reporters at a Cabinet meeting, according to state media. “Wherever they want to threaten the Islamic Republic of Iran, we will react, and this reaction will definitely be proportionate, tough and decisive.”

Meanwhile, the IDF and Hezbollah continue to pummel one another along Israel’s northern border…

The Israeli armed forces carried out a massive wave of airstrikes and artillery fire against targets in the Saluki valley in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, following repeated attacks against Israeli targets by the Lebanese terror organization Hezbollah.

According to Israel Defense Forces, the terror group “makes extensive use” of the valley for its activities, hiding its weapons and infrastructures in the valley’s forested areas.

According to Lebanese reports, the Israeli airstrike was among the largest of the war so far, hitting 15 different targets in at least 30 launched strikes.

And on Tuesday the U.S. military actually hit the Houthis in Yemen with a “pre-emptive attack” because the Houthis were apparently getting ready to launch more anti-ship ballistic missiles…

On Tuesday US forces carried out another round of strikes on Houthi sites in Yemen, but this time the operation is being dubbed a “pre-emptive” attack that came in response to militants preparing missile launches on the ground in real time.

“US forces struck and destroyed four Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles,” a Central Command (CENTCOM) statement saud. “These missiles were prepared to launch from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen and presented an imminent threat to both merchant and US Navy ships in the region.”

War is here.

In fact, 2024 is going to be a year of war, and wherever conflict happens the U.S. is almost certainly going to be involved.

So how will the American people respond as the world erupts in flames?

In recent weeks, we have seen crazed protesters in support of the Palestinians do some very alarming things in Washington, New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere.

But the truth is that World War III is still only in the very early stages.  So what is going to happen once global events spiral completely out of control?

Unfortunately, I believe that it won’t be too long before we find out.

Yes, ever since the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. There was a major league speed bump during Donald Trump’s tenure but that is now behind us.

Let us consider this topic under the title: Common Sense 101. Our military is in mothballs. While China and Russia are looking at World War III and expansion with the feckless Joe Biden in the White House, the military in The United States is focused on WOKE pronouns, and the alphabet soup of invented sexes. We are the laughing stock of the world and our president wouldn’t have it any other way.

China sent a spy balloon over the United States that was revealed ONLY because a couple of Montana citizens saw it with the naked eye on a particularly clear day. Was it shot down? Of course not. Our current president loves the globalist, Chinese Communist mindset more so than patriotism, freedom, and a country that was built upon the Judeo Christian ethic. The United States government was aware of its presence before the balloon passed the Aleutian Islands. It was observed over Alaska, Canada, Montana, the far west, the Midwest, and was finally shot down over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Carolina after its dirty work was done. It crossed sensitive military installations and other important places. Pictures were taken and electronically sent back to China. Shooting it down was just peachy with China since it served its purpose.

Drug cartels, terrorists, illegal immigrants and fentanyl are pouring over the border with no end in sight. They are welcomed by this administration. Our Democrat Communists will forever have their votes as they further usurp the values this country was built upon.

The victims of the recent train derailment and chemical explosion in East Palestine, Ohio have been totally ignored by our president. After all, this is mere fly over country and it once again reveals that Joe Biden is focused on anything else but Americans.

Proof that COVID-19 came from the Wuhan laboratory in China is rolling out faster than Dale Earnhardt in the Daytona Five Hundred. Note the statement by FBI Director Wray in the You Tube below. The evidence is so great that even the sheeple may figure it out. Donald Trump ALWAYS called it the China virus because he was a truthful president. Yet under Trump’s administration the vaccine was rushed out under “Operation Warp Speed;” – this told those with discernment that the recipients are guinea pigs and it was not properly tested. At a rally, even Trump’s constituents booed him over this. It simply came out too fast to be safe, as the article below and many others indicate. We who are informed, have known COVID-19 was manufactured by the totalitarian and wicked nation of China since day one. We also knew that the masks were totally worthless, proved through a recent comprehensive study in Great Britain.

Joining over one hundred and seventy other countries, Joe Biden desperately desires for the World Health Organization (WHO) to dictate universal “healthcare” to the United States of America during the next pandemic. i.e. Mandatory vaccines and wearing of masks, and forcing the nation’s citizens to be quarantined. The WHO is based in Geneva, Switzerland and all of these proposed mandates are obviously globalist, thus circumventing the freedom of sovereign nations. Older people who understand and cherish our freedoms are aghast. The millennial and X, Y, Z generations endorse this madness, since all kinds of government (domestic and global) is their god (I never see them in church). They will one day realize that government, when the zeitgeist is right, can be a good servant but is ALWAYS an untrustworthy master.

Joe Biden and his son Hunter have been in the sack with China for many years. They are millionaires at the expense of our nation. Our president is totally compromised with them, and China licked their chops when he “won” the presidency by hook and by crook. Joe Biden is a pawn and an enabler of Red China.

I could go on and on and on, but you get the picture…

This is mind boggling and very sad to Americans who understand what is going on. The good news? It all plays into the hands of the New World Order (NWO), forecasted in the Bible thousands of years ago. Do not become frightened believing Christian but: “…when you see these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28

Last June, the Biden administration unveiled its “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.” Despite its anodyne-sounding name, the “National Strategy” was anything but anodyne. The pamphlet represented the logical culmination of the Left’s cynical use of the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot as a means of ginning up large-scale, nationwide anti-Republican/anti-Trump voter sentiment. The result, evinced again by Attorney General Merrick Garland’s disgraceful October 2021 memo directing the FBI to intrude on local school board meetings and crack down on anti–critical race theory parental revolts, has been a roiling cold war waged by the ruling class against us “deplorables” and our political “wrong-think.”

Now, seven months after Garland’s infamous Oct. 4 memo, the better question to ask is not whether President Joe Biden is engaged in a cold war merely against the “deplorables.” We know the answer to that: yes. Instead, the more relevant question is whether the Biden administration is now engaged in a cold war against a broader target: the entire American citizenry. The answer to that question, based on all relevant data and metrics, seems to be the same: yes.

Let’s review.

Most obvious and perhaps most important, inflation — which the Federal Reserve finally recently conceded is not “transitory” but here to stay for a while — is now the highest it has been in four decades. The Consumer Price Index increased 8.3 percent in April on an annualized basis — slightly lower than March’s 8.5 percent clip, but still painfully above the Fed’s 2 percent target. Biden has recently declared fighting inflation to be his top domestic priority, but he shows no appetite for curbing the mass inflationary deficit spending that has characterized his presidency. Nor has Biden communicated to Fed Chair Jerome Powell that he is prepared to accommodate the drastic interest rate hikes that are now necessary to bring inflation back under control. (READ MORE: Inflation Can’t Be Censored)

Biden is also looking to “fight” inflation — a de facto regressive tax that eats away everyone’s savings, but hits lower- and middle-class earners the hardest — in all the wrong places. The traditional economic definition of inflation is too much money chasing too few goods, but Democrats seem wholly uninterested in working with Republicans on the sort of industrial policy measures needed to immediately revamp domestic production. On the contrary, Biden’s priorities are completely backward.

Amidst this carnage to Americans’ savings and retirement accounts, it is unfathomable for the administration to further restrict domestic energy production.

Amidst unprecedented — and potentially lethal — shortages in baby formula, he has not acted swiftly to either invoke the Defense Production Act to ramp up domestic production (after his own FDA shut down a baby formula production facility) or temporarily lift the import tariffs that have helped cartelize the domestic baby formula market. At the same time, Biden has openly mused about ending the Trump administration’s signature tariffs on China. But all that would accomplish is make the median American consumer even more dependent on our geopolitical arch-foe. Fed-driven monetary policy aside, the way to fight inflation on the fiscal side is to accelerate production — not to fortify China’s cheap-labor sword of Damocles that dangles over the American economy.

Perhaps most revealing, as reported by the Washington Examiner, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Florida) tweeted photos appearing to show “[s]helves and pallets packed with baby formula” at holding facilities for illegal aliens. This, of course, while actual U.S. citizen parents are frantically scrambling from store to store to ensure their babies don’t starve.

Translation: Illegal aliens rule the roost.

But it’s not just the open-borders/pro-illegal alien lobby that plays our ruling class like a fiddle; it’s also the zealots in the environmentalist movement. During the same week that nearly 30 states are reporting all-time highs for average gas price at the pump, the Biden administration has canceled offshore oil and natural gas leases in both Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. But Biden has simultaneously admitted that energy accounts for a whopping 60 percent of the inflation Americans are now experiencing. Higher fuel prices for trucks and tractors, after all, trickle down and affect all goods and foodstuffs farmed and shipped.

Amidst this carnage to Americans’ savings and retirement accounts, it is unfathomable for the administration to further restrict domestic energy production. The only effect of such restrictions, intended to appease the greenie and Malthusian radicals who increasingly dominate the Democratic donor base, is to make Americans even more energy-dependent on such human rights bastions as Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. Our ruling class, full of virtue-signaling electric car owners, no doubt sleeps well at night as normal gasoline-dependent Americans get annihilated at the pump.

Meanwhile, Congress is racing to pass an emergency $40 billion appropriation in aid to Ukraine, a faraway land now roiling in its fourth calendar month of a crippling humanitarian crisis but hardly a pressing domestic concern. Post–Maidan Revolution Ukraine is a well-known playground for venal slush funds and parochial NGO interests, but that apparently did not give the U.S. House any pause in reviewing the legislation to minimize any gratuitous pork; it rapidly passed Congress’s lower chamber by a lopsided tally of 368-57.

The situation in Ukraine is tragic — but so is the situation at the porous U.S.–Mexico border, which has been completely overrun in recent months by transnational drug cartel–trafficked illegal migrants. Those migrants and cartels are incentivized to make and orchestrate the hazardous journey north due to the Biden administration’s various amnesty magnets, such as its return of Obama-era “catch-and-release” policy for illegal aliens in the U.S. interior.

Translation: Ukraine’s border with Russia matters more than America’s own border with Mexico.

It is difficult to recall the last time a U.S. president persistently acted in a manner so contrary to the interests of the average citizen to whom that president purportedly takes a constitutional oath to protect and defend. Fortunately, Biden’s historically low approval ratings hint at a ballot box remedy for our national woes: A red wave beckons this fall.

The Biden administration seems to think that there won’t be any serious consequences for endlessly provoking the Russians, but Russian President Vladimir Putin definitely seems to understand what is at stake.

Following a very lengthy discussion with French President Emmanuel Macron, Putin issued a very ominous warning to the press…

‘I’ve been saying it, but I’d very much want you to finally hear me, and to deliver it to your audience in print, TV and online.

‘Do you understand it or not, that if Ukraine joins NATO and attempts to bring Crimea back by military means, the European countries will be automatically pulled into a war conflict with Russia?’

War with Russia should be something that we try extremely hard to avoid.

Because once a war with Russia starts, there is a very good chance that it will eventually go nuclear.

Putin says that he does not want such a conflict, and he told the press that there will be “no winners” if it actually happens…

‘Of course the military potential of NATO and Russia are incomparable. We understand it.

‘But we also understand that Russia is one of the leading nuclear states, and by some modern components it even outperforms many.

‘There will be no winners. And you will be pulled into this conflict against your will.

‘You won’t even have time to blink your eye when you execute Article 5 (collective defence of NATO members)….

‘Mr President Macron, of course, doesn’t want this. And I don’t want it. And I don’t want it….which is why he is here, torturing me for six straight hours.’

But even though Putin believes that there would be “no winners” in a nuclear war, he has still been preparing the Russians to fight one.

The development of the S-500 missile defense system was game changing.  According to the Russian Defense Ministry, it has “no analogs” anywhere in the world…

“The S-500 anti-aircraft missile system has no analogs in the world and is designed to defeat the entire spectrum of existing and promising aerospace attack weapons of a potential enemy in the entire range of altitudes and speeds,” the defense ministry said in a statement.

Unfortunately, the Russians are quite correct about the S-500.  There isn’t anything like it anywhere else in the world, and it gives the Russians a tremendous advantage.

It has been designed to be able to intercept and bring down any incoming threats, and that includes intercontinental ballistic missiles from the United States…

Produced by Russian state-owned defense company Almaz-Antey Concern, the S-500 is designed to intercept intercontinental ballistic missiles and other aerial attacks at an altitude of up to 200 kilometers (124 miles).

The weapon system can hit up to 10 targets at a range of up to 600 kilometers (372 miles) and has a response time of three to four seconds, shorter than the S-400.

The S-500 uses the 77N6-N and 77N6-N1 missiles, which can be fitted with an inert warhead capable of destroying enemy nuclear warheads with precision.

The U.S. doesn’t have anything that is even worth being compared to the S-500.

As S-500 units are put into service, they will complement the A-135 anti-ballistic missile systems which already form a defensive ring around Moscow…

Russia already has an anti-ICBM missile defense system, the silo-based A-135 Amur which launches 53T6 ABM interceptors that can attain up to seventeen times the speed of sound to swat down ICBMs using a ten-kiloton nuclear warhead. But the A135 only defends Moscow and the surrounding industrial areas.

In the old days, mutual destruction during a nuclear conflict was essentially guaranteed because neither side had any way to defend against incoming intercontinental ballistic missiles.

But now the balance of power has shifted.

The Russians have very advanced anti-ballistic missile systems and we do not.

Meanwhile, the Russians have also developed new hypersonic cruise missiles that are extremely alarming…

Russia test-fired around 10 new Tsirkon (Zircon) hypersonic cruise missiles from a frigate and two more from a submarine, Interfax news agency said on Friday citing northern fleet.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has lauded the weapon as part of a new generation of unrivalled arms systems.

The fact that the Russians can fire these hypersonic missiles from submarines should send a chill up your spine.

In previous articles, I have discussed Russia’s “black hole submarines” that are so quiet that they can sneak up to our coastlines without anyone knowing that they are even there.

Needless to say, this gives the Russians quite an impressive first strike capability.

In a nuclear war you do not want to be on the side that doesn’t strike first.

And as I have repeatedly warned, a surprise Russian first strike would absolutely cripple the U.S. before we even knew what hit us.

As for the U.S. military, it continues to fall even further behind.  Our strategic nuclear arsenal is badly outdated, our missile defense systems are a joke compared to what the Russians have, and our hypersonic missile tests just keep failing.

But nobody in the world is better at implementing diversity and inclusion programs.

If a future war with the Russians or the Chinese comes down to a battle of political correctness, we will win for sure.

Unfortunately for the U.S. military, that is not how wars are fought, and that is very bad news for all of us.

As others made their plans, the Canadians said their protest wasn’t over.

When the convoy left British Columbia last week, the plan had been to enter Ottawa on Saturday and then disperse. But that was before the convoy was received with cheers as the trucks rolled across Canada.

B.J. Dichter, who raised funds for the Freedom Convoy, said on Sunday that it will not be leaving Ottawa anytime soon, according to the Independent.

“Right now, yeah, it’s really cold, but we hang in there, the days are going to get longer and we take this block party and put it into overdrive,” Dichter said.

“We’re in this one for the long haul. We don’t have a time limit,” he said.

Moved by the imminent 20th anniversary of 9/11, former President Trump appeared on Newsmax Tuesday night and delivered a stark message about American security. He said he rebuilt the U.S. military only to see it humiliated in Afghanistan.

“That was a day like no other day,” Trump told Tuesday’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight” of 9/11 in an exclusive interview. “That’s why we have to be careful. That’s why we rebuilt our military. Unfortunately, they gave some of what I had rebuilt – we built it – they gave it to the Taliban. Can you believe that?”

According to the former president, not only did President Joe Biden’s military botch the troops’ withdrawal from the longest-running war in American history by doing it unconditionally, our enemy has been empowered in the process.

Trump told host Rob Schmitt: “Brand new Apache, the most incredible weapon you’ve ever seen, the Apache helicopters, brand new – brand new out of the box, as they say – and they got ’em.”

He was referring to Taliban fighters who took over the country without a fight from the U.S.-trained Afghan army. “And they’re giving them to China, and they’re giving them to Russia, and Iran, and they’re studying them because they want to make them just like that.”

In a wide-ranging 15-minute interview, Trump denounced Biden for what he deemed a failed execution of a withdrawal without first securing evacuations for American citizens, and while leaving sophisticated weapons and other materiel behind.

“Look at what’s happened to our country in the past eight months,” Trump said. “I don’t think our country has every seen a period like this, how badly we’re doing.

“The worst of all is what took place in Afghanistan. That withdrawal was the most incompetently handled withdrawal, or anything else, in the history of our country. We’re embarrassed in front of the world. Giving them $850 billion of the best military equipment in the world, there’s never been a greater embarrassment than we’ve suffered this last week.”

Schmitt asked Trump about early Biden attempts to fault the Trump administration for withdrawal problems. Trump reiterated a recent talking point in asserting that the Taliban knew to not “mess around” when he was president; Biden, he said, was the one who failed to hold the Taliban accountable for sticking to the previous administration’s conditions-based withdrawal.

“You just take a look at the last few months, that’s when the whole thing fell down,” Trump said. “I was not there. And it all fell down.

“Can you imagine getting the military out, before you get your citizens, American people out?” Trump continued. “They took the military out first. We would have taken it out last.

“And, by the way, they didn’t meet the conditions. And every time they didn’t meet the conditions, we bombed them.”

Trump referred to strong actions by his administration to eradicate the Islamic State caliphate in Iraq and Syria, and to a strike aimed at taking out Iranian QUDS force commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

“This was easy by comparison, and what they did was a disgrace to this country,” Trump said of the Biden withdrawal. “I heard they tried to blame me at the beginning, but now they’re getting shot down even by the liberal media.”

Trump again lamented that Biden has armed the Taliban, the Afghanistan leadership that allowed al-Qaida to train for the 9/11 attacks on U.S. soil 20 years ago this week.

“Now they have one of the best-equipped armies in the world, can you believe it?” Trump said. “From having knives to having the best planes and tanks and trucks.

“Why didn’t we take it out? It’s not even conceivable we didn’t take this stuff out.

“We left them airplanes, helicopters, why didn’t we fly that stuff out? Billions of dollars.”

Trump said he knew – as all “smart people knew” – the Afghan army did not have the “heart” to hold back the Taliban, particularly under the now-exiled President Ashraf Ghani.

“The United States paid a fortune for these people to fight a war,” Trump said. “They weren’t fighting from their heart. They were fighting because they were being paid a lot of money. Smart people knew they were going to give up immediately and go to the other side. They basically went to the other side immediately. It’s disgraceful.”
