What On Earth is Going On? Perilous Times Ahead

The closing days of the Church Age are a challenge for all mankind. For the Godless, these days cannot make sense. For those who know the Bible, it has the road map ahead all spelled out for us!

Even the secular, unbelieving world is stunned at all that is happening in our collapsing world. Most have no explanation for it. Some offer weak explanations that to the tuned-in and spiritually astute are laughable. 
Even once-sound pulpits remain silent and perplexed. Political commentators suggest that if we just elect their candidate, all will be rosy again someday soon. Their faith is in their political party. We Will Own Nothing and be Happy?
Leftists promise that if we fix climate change and spread the wealth around, we will achieve peace on earth. Outfits like the World Economic Forum suggest some day, if we follow their formula, we will own nothing and be happy! How can society be happy under Godless Communism? Here are my conclusions as to why we’re where we are in history. I am sure the list is much longer than this but here goes: Our times are perilous because God is trying to wake up and warn a sinful world. People don’t listen when life is smooth-sailing. The Bible is fulfilling itself. It predicts perilous times (II Timothy 3); a Laodicea end-time church; a Romans 1 society at the end, characterized by depravity. Evil and violence will escalate. The “birth pangs” will become intense and will be hard to watch and read about. We get worn out seeing floods, fires, droughts, and hurricanes. But the Bible says these things must happen. God is warning because He always warns before He judges and the world is facing judgment. It is being judged now but far worse is coming during the Tribulation. This is just a warm-up. There are terrible consequences when we don’t do things God’s way. Society will fail. The church will head into apostasy. But prideful mankind always thinks their way is best and wreckage results. God is specifically sending a message to His church. He is trying to shake us up, so that we will wake up and ultimately look up. America and the world are now caught up in end-time strong delusion. That has serious consequences. Delusion does not permit people to think rationally and to act reasonably. It does not allow people to vote sensibly. The consequences are staggering.  Many think that politics will be the savior, or a particular political party. They just want to “make America great again” but minus God’s oversight. God is letting us know that only “one nation under God” will ever function properly and no nation can be great and Godless.
America showed God the door fifty years ago. That has consequences. His blessing and protection may have left when we opened that door! God is allowing some pre-Tribulation birth pains on the entire world. But what we see happening today is minor compared to what is coming. The Church will be absent during that Tribulation time, so in the meantime, may we have a greater burden to save people from the wrath to come. The consequences for a world that rejects Jesus Christ are unthinkable.
America and other Western powers have to fade as world influencers so that global government can rise up and rule the world. As these nations diminish, keep in mind that this is orchestrated by God for his end-time purposes.
Lastly, I think there is chaos on earth because Satan knows his time is short and he has ramped up his activity. He is getting new recruits for his kingdom. This is all the more reason we must be salt and light in these final days.
What Did You Expect the End-Times to Look Like?
That’s a short list summarizing a few options as to why the world is in a mess! What did you expect the end-times to look like?
With God marginalized and mocked, society cannot work properly. It will collapse under the weight of everything in the world that is fractured. Only Christ’s return at the Rapture and then His Second Coming at the end of the Tribulation to establish a near-perfect Kingdom will fix it!
The closing days of the Church Age are a challenge for all mankind. For the Godless, these days cannot make sense. For those who know the Bible, it has the road map ahead all spelled out for us! Your Assignment
Don’t let more time to become wasted. Seize the moment. Jesus is coming and most of the world is in a dark place! And they have not a clue how to turn the light on unless you tell them.

What Will This New Wave Of Lockdowns Do To The Global Economy?

Needless to say, the restrictions and lockdowns that we witnessed in 2020 were absolutely devastating for the global economy, and many areas of the planet remain economically depressed as a result. As the “Delta variant” continues to spread, will this new wave of restrictions and lockdowns push the world economy into another major downturn during the second half of 2021?

For a few months a lot of people were convinced that humanity’s efforts to defeat COVID were being successful, and many believed that the pandemic would soon be behind us for good.  But now the “Delta variant” is spreading like wildfire all over the globe, and this is prompting national governments around the world to institute a new wave of restrictions and lockdowns.  
Needless to say, the restrictions and lockdowns that we witnessed in 2020 were absolutely devastating for the global economy, and many areas of the planet remain economically depressed as a result.  As the “Delta variant” continues to spread, will this new wave of restrictions and lockdowns push the world economy into another major downturn during the second half of 2021?
I am extremely concerned about how some national governments are choosing to respond to this new variant.  In particular, I think that officials in Australia have gone completely nuts.  Now that a third state has implemented new restrictions, more than half of the country is currently under lockdown…
More than half of Australia’s 25 million people were under lockdown on Tuesday after a third state adopted movement curbs to rein in the highly contagious Delta variant of coronavirus.
Australia’s infections and deaths are well below other developed nations, but its use of lockdowns, prompted by a sluggish vaccination campaign, is putting pressure on the national government, with polls at their lowest in a year and just months before elections are due to be held.
Once upon a time, I used to recommend Australia as a potential relocation destination.
But I don’t think that I will ever be able to recommend Australia again after what we have witnessed during this pandemic.
Things have gotten really crazy in Japan as well.  Because they are hosting the Olympics, officials have instituted extremely strict restrictions, and this is definitely rubbing a lot of people the wrong way.
Savannah Guthrie is in Japan right now, and she says that it is like “stepping back in time”…
“They have very strict protocols here,” Savannah said. “In a way it’s like stepping back in time. At least for those of us in (the United States), at the height of the pandemic, we remember the washing of the hands, the mask-wearing, all of that. It’s just like that here. It’s really locked down here in Tokyo.”
I don’t usually use the word “paranoia” very much, but in this case I believe that it is justified.
Those that are traveling to Japan for the Olympics are being forced to be tested for COVID over and over again…
Savannah said that the protocols began before she even left the United States. International visitors to Japan have to take two coronavirus tests before they get on a plane. The first has to be taken about 96 hours before travel, the second 72 hours before.
After landing in Tokyo, visitors have to test again at the airport, and then take a daily test for the first three days in the country.
But even with such dramatic restrictions, the “Delta variant” just continues to spread, and the head of the Tokyo games is openly admitting that he is “prepared to discuss a last-minute cancellation” of the Olympics…
As Games-linked Covid cases continue to rise in a city rising in indignation at the Olympics taking place, Tokyo 2020 chief Toshiro Muto said he was prepared to discuss a last-minute cancellation.
Isn’t that insane?
According to Muto, officials are watching the number of new cases in Japan very carefully…
“We can’t predict what will happen with the number of coronavirus cases. So we will continue discussions if there is a spike in cases.
“We have agreed that based on the coronavirus situation, we will convene five-party talks again.
“At this point, the coronavirus cases may rise or fall, so we will think about what we should do when the situation arises.”
Over in France, the implementation of new “health pass” rules is creating a giant uproar…
From July 21st, health passes are required to enter public cultural and leisure venues that welcome 50 people or more. This applies to venues such as theatres, cinemas, libraries, theme parks, concert halls, festivals, museums and monuments, and takes effect ahead of a wider extension of the health pass rules from August 1st.
From now on, those that have not been vaccinated will be relegated to second class status in France, but the truth is that “fully vaccinated” people are catching the “Delta variant” too.
In fact, a “fully vaccinated” White House official and a “fully vaccinated” aide to Nancy Pelosi both just tested positive for COVID.
The “Delta variant” is taking the U.S. by storm, and Los Angeles County has become one of the epicenters of this new outbreak…
Los Angeles County is now recording more than 10,000 coronavirus cases a week — a pace not seen since March — an alarming sign of the dangers the Delta variant poses to people who have not been vaccinated and heightening pressure on health officials to reverse the trend.
A Los Angeles Times data analysis found L.A. County was recording 101 weekly coronavirus cases for every 100,000 residents, up from 12 for the seven-day period that ended June 15. That means the county has surpassed the threshold to have “high” community transmission of the disease, the worst tier as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Mask mandates are back, and that certainly will not help the California economy, but what many small business owners are deathly afraid of is another long-term lockdown…
“In general, nobody likes wearing masks – I don’t know anyone that cheers having to wear one – but if the choice is another 15 months of shutdown or wearing a mask inside, then I will be happy to wear a mask,” said Cache Bouren, owner of Haberdasher in San Jose.
“Facing the idea of another six to eight months without any real revenue coming is a very scary thing,” admitted Bouren, who is set to open up a new bar called Cash Only soon.
In 2020, countless small businesses in the United States shut their doors on a permanent basis, and countless others barely survived.
In fact, one recent survey found that approximately 20 percent of all the small businesses that actually survived “came frighteningly close” to shutting down for good…
One in five small business owners came frighteningly close to shuttering their business for good during the COVID-19 pandemic. A new survey polled 1,000 small business executives to analyze the impact the pandemic had on their businesses and how they’re planning to recover moving forward.
Three in four respondents agree the past year was the hardest they’ve ever had in business. Those challenges include dealing with decreased sales (46%), fewer customers (42%), and lower production (37%). Two in five small business executives had to take a pay cut to keep their companies afloat during COVID. Other areas bosses cut down on in 2020 include the cost of supplies (40%) and marketing budgets (37%).
We simply cannot afford another round of lockdowns here in the United States.
And the same thing is true for countries all over the globe that have previously experienced lockdowns.
But as the “Delta variant” continues to spread, it appears to be inevitable that more new lockdowns will continue to be rolled out.
Is this going to be the answer every time a new health crisis erupts?  Because I believe that we have now entered an “era of pestilences”, and I also believe that the health threats that are ahead of us are going to be far worse than what we have already been through.
The world economy was just getting back to some semblance of “normalcy”, and now things are starting to get completely nuts again.
This pandemic is like a nightmare that never seems to end, and the way that officials have reacted all over the world has just made things even worse.

Paul the Apostle taught, preached, and wrote of things in the future. He explained how The Holy Spirit has been a restraining force in the world, restraining and holding back both the ultimate evils of human beings and that of the demonic forces of fallen angels.

Paul taught that the human being has a capacity for evil that dwarfs even the appalling acts of Adolph Hitler, Josef Stalin, and Chairman Mao. For even as just these three combined destroyed hundreds of millions of precious souls, our hearts are even darker, and whose actions, if unrestrained, could have obliterated every human on the face of the earth.

Psychology, Secularism, and New Age Thought, (as well as today’s majority of Mainline Protestant Churches) are convinced people are basically good and resort to deviant acts and criminal behavior because of negative experiences in their lives. And recent proposals to reduce police forces and interventions with psychologists and social workers are a natural progression of “all people are basically good” ideas.

The Bible clearly and emphatically states the opposite. The Old Testament prophet Jeremiah wrote (Jer 17: 9) clearly says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

While speaking of the end times, Jesus said (Matthew 24:22) “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

Today we have Covid-19, lockdowns, Censorship, and “The Vaccines”. Has “The Delusion” Paul wrote of finally arrived?

In one corner we have many fine and sincere people speaking up about fulfilling our Biblical “Love thy neighbor” command who implore us to dutifully wear our face masks, receive our vaccine doses, and remain sequestered, alienated, and isolated from everyone. They insist THIS is our Christian obligation.

In an opposite corner are those who proclaim the end is near, the Gates-Fauci genocide is upon us and that vaccinations are a prelude to the Mark of the Beast. All hope is lost. And it is our Christian responsibility to resist at all costs.

There is no doubt MANY great delusions have been thrust upon us these past two years:

Many are deluded there was no fraud in the 2020 election and genuinely believe election audits are an attempt to destroy Democracy.

Many are deluded to believe nature has confused their biology and that they can change from one gender to another by simply saying so.

Many are deluded to believe The United States will, by any means necessary, be dragged from being a Constitutional Republic and turned into a Social-Democratic nation where all men, women, and “nonbinaries” (whatever that is) have equal pay, equal wages, equal housing, and equal bank balances.

And many, apparently, have been deluded into believing the Zuckerberg-Gates-Bezos-et al Cabal Network, in tandem with the US Media giants, are more capable of establishing, monitoring, and supervising the NEW American government (and its citizens) than those legitimately elected by the American people.

Has the Biblical “Great Delusion” finally arrived?

This article is intended to acquaint you with the top twenty Pre-Tribulation prophecies. These are ancient predictions that are about to roll off of their parchments soon and pound down on the world’s pavement. 
These are globally impacting events that could happen before the Seven-Year Tribulation Period begins. Thus, it’s possible that the Christian Church might actually witness the fulfillment of some of these perilous biblical predictions before it gets Raptured.
Over the past seven years, I have had the opportunity to author five books and DVDs in an end times prophecy series. The goal of these non-fiction works is to explore, explain and sequence all of the unfulfilled prophecies that will happen on the last days 10-stage timeline.
Twenty-five hundred days, thirteen hundred pages, one-hundred chapters and twelve appendices later, I feel compelled to tell you that, in my educated estimation, the landscape, environment, economy and geo-politics of this present world are all about to change quickly and dramatically!
All of the end times signs are converging. The required technologies are developed, the apocalyptic weapons are fashioned, and the evil political leaders and their wicked national relationships are in place for every Pre-Tribulation prophecy to find fulfillment soon.
In the event that the long-suffering and merciful Heavenly Father tarries from sending His Only Begotten Son Jesus to come Rapture His Bride, Christians need to brace themselves for the rough road ahead. Survival in these last days will largely depend on a Christian’s ability to know what prophecies are coming, prepare for their arrival and endure their adverse effects when they happen.
Although Christians are instructed to remind and comfort one another about the imminence of the Rapture, they should also resist the lackadaisical attitude that leads them to think they will be Raptured before the bad stuff happens. The Rapture is only one of the Pre-Tribulation prophecies and there could be a photo-finish between the Rapture and several other prophecies.
The Pre-Tribulation Period
The Pre-Tribulation period includes the Church Age and the Post-Rapture / Pre-Tribulation Time Gap. The Church Age ends when the Rapture happens. Then mankind enters into a pre-tribulational interval period of unspecified time. This time gap concludes when the Antichrist confirms the false covenant of Daniel 9:27 and Isaiah 28:15.
For those unfamiliar with this mysterious time gap, it is based upon the premise that it’s not the Rapture that triggers the Seven-Year Tribulation Period, rather it’s the ratification of the false covenant that kick-starts it. Many of today’s top Bible prophecy experts believe this interval period exists, such as: Dr. Mark Hitchcock, Dr. David Reagan, Gary Stearman, Tom Hughes, me and the late Dr. Tim LaHaye (1926-2016) and Dr. Chuck Missler (1934-2018), just to name a few. Some of us suggest that this time gap could last for several years.

21. Also, another Pre-Tribulation scenario worth mentioning are the three seemingly connecting Gaza, (ancient Philistia), prophecies that appear to predict the elimination of Hamas in Psalm 83, Zephaniah 2:4-7 and Ezekiel 25:15-17.
All of these twenty plus prophecies identified above are potentially going to be globally impacting. Although some of them are centered in the Middle East, they will likely increase international terrorism, lead to worldwide oil and gas shortages, fuel economic collapses, provoke geo-political upheavals and result in unprecedented humanitarian calamities.
The Seven-Year Tribulation Period
If the menu of devastating events above isn’t frightening enough it only gets worse from there. Once prophecies #19 and #20 are fulfilled, the false covenant gets confirmed by the Antichrist and the Seven-Year Tribulation Period commences. During those final seven years this planet and the people left behind will face off with the Wrath of God.
The planet gets destroyed and billions of people are killed. I have written extensively about this tribulational period in my LAST Prophecies and FINAL Prophecies books. The good news is that the Church is:
SAVED FROM the wrath through Jesus Christ – (Romans 5:8-9),DELIVERED FROM the wrath to come –  (1 Thessalonians 1:10),NOT APPOINTED  to the wrath – (1 Thessalonians 5:7-10),KEPT FROM the “hour of trial” of the Tribulation –  (Rev. 3:10-11),TO COMFORT ONE ANOTHER about the BLESSED HOPE of the RAPTURE – (1 Thessalonians 4:18).
The bad news is that believers have loved ones who are presently unsaved and at risk of being left behind to experience the most perilous seven-years in all of post-flood history.
In closing let me speak to three prevalent Christian attitudes.
(1) I DON’T CARE: “I’ll be Raptured, so why should I worry about such things that don’t concern me.” I would encourage someone who has adopted this position to first, realize that you may be here to endure some of the Pre-Tribulation prophecies. If you face off with one or more of these powerful predictions, you will undoubtedly be forced to care! Therefore, be cautious not to get caught up in the trap of thinking that the rest of your days will be persecution free.
Second, be more compassionate toward your unsaved family, friends and neighbors. Put yourself in their future shoes. If they get saved after the Rapture they will have to survive through three periods of Christian martyrdom that follows the Rapture.
(These three periods of martyrdom are thoroughly unpacked and explained in The Pre-Tribulation Prophecies DVD).
(2) I’M BURNED-OUT: “I am blue in the face from trying to witness to my loved ones and teach them about the Rapture and the Tribulation Period that follows.” Get a second wind. The end times signs are converging and that should excite you and reignite the flame you once had to share the Good News about Jesus Christ. Your loved ones are watching the same crazy current events unfold that you are. Their once deaf ears are listening, blind eyes are opening and hard heads are ready for some fresh Bible-Thumping! Besides, you don’t want them to get LEFT BEHIND!
(3) I CARE AND WANT TO SHARE: “I’m expecting Jesus Christ to come Rapture us out of here soon and I want to redeem the little bit of borrowed time we have remaining.” I encourage you to watch The Pre-Tribulation Prophecies prophetic documentary. God’s prophetic Word has excited us here at Lamb & Lion Ministries for over 40 years now. And, that excitement will never abate in the years ahead, for the Good News and hope-filled message about our Savior’s return is what energizes our passion for evangelizing.
We want you to be invigorated by that same passion as well! And so, I called my fellow Bible prophecy teacher, Todd Hampson of the Prophecy Pros podcast, and we put a list together to share some of the reasons why we believe Bible prophecy exists.
1. Shows that God Speaks the Truth
Bible prophecy has been given to us to show that God is God. He is the Chief! He is the One in charge. He exists outside of time. He knows everything. And so, whatever God says, you can take it as the truth. That’s why the first reason that Bible prophecy has been given to us is so we can live by that truth.
2. Shows that God Speaks the Truth
The second reason why God has given us Bible prophecy is to prove that the Bible is God’s word. The fact is that the Bible is the only book ever written that contains genuine, fulfilled prophecies. These prophecies were fulfilled to… the…”T”! Fulfilled Bible prophecy proves the Bible is truly God’s Word and so we can place our faith and trust in it and its Author.
3. Shows God Is in Control
A third reason is to show us that God is in complete control. He is sovereign. That may sound like a big theological word, but sovereign means that God is ultimately in control of every single detail. Bible prophecy puts that fact on display like nothing else.
4. Demonstrates God’s Love
The fourth reason for God giving us Bible prophecy is to demonstrate that God loves us and that He has a plan for our lives. We’re not just floating around on a big spinning orb out in outer space with no purpose and no meaning, as Atheists claim. 
God has crafted a purpose for every person He has ever made because He loves His children. God has also planned a destination for the faithful. He wants us to live with Him in Heaven and on the New Earth forever. And so, He gives us prophecy to show how world history will end with the faithful living forever with our loving Heavenly Father in the Eternal State.
5. Describes God’s Plan
The fifth reason deals with how skeptics of Bible prophecy misconstrue its prophecies as being too general, or too vague, or too big. But, if you take a closer look, God provides many specific details about His plan for the ages. 
This plan shows how God is working to bring humanity back into a right relationship with Him so that one day we shall dwell in a blessed time of peace, righteousness, and fellowship with our Creator. Bible prophecy can be very specific and very purposeful, for God explains how His plan will unfold through His prophetic Word.
6. Demonstrates God’s Might
The sixth reason revolves around God’s characteristic of being mighty. The fact that God the Father gave up His one and only Son to die for the penalty of our sins so that those who place their faith in Jesus may be redeemed is truly praiseworthy. 
The promise that Jesus Christ is going to return one day in might and power to victoriously defeat Satan and his minions and set up His kingdom should make you stand up and shout, “Hallelujah!” Almighty God alone is worthy of our praise and worship, and Bible prophecy shows us why.
7. Proves God Is Worthy
The seventh reason why God gave us Bible prophecy is to demonstrate how big God is and how teeny-tiny we are in comparison. Nobody is like God. Therefore, He alone is worthy of us living our lives trying to please Him through obedience and acts of love. 
Even though God is far greater than we are, He still has a use for us, and that is to serve and fellowship with Him. Why should we? Because He alone is worthy of our obedience and praise. Bible prophecy points us to that fact.
8. Promises Evil Will Be Punished
The eighth excellent point involves how on this earth, evil often gets away with its crimes. Bad people commit bad things, often without ever facing punishment. And yet, Bible prophecy promises that swift justice is coming. The evil in this world does have an end to it. 
While we patiently wait for that glorious day, God is mercifully providing humanity this short reprieve to 1) return to Him in repentance, and 2) grab hold of His gracious offer of having a right relationship with Him. Bible prophecy maps out the timeline for that long-desired day of justice.
9. Prepares Us to Get Right with Him
The ninth reason (and it’s a beautiful reason and one that we just love like crazy) concerns how Bible prophecy shows God’s grace. Our Creator lets us know what is going to happen ahead of time so that we can get right with Him. If God wanted to, He could just drop the hammer on everybody because we are sinners, and He is not. 
We deserve to be sentenced to Hell for our rebellion against our Creator and for breaking His moral law. But, by God’s grace and through His love, our Heavenly Father lets us know ahead of time what He is planning on doing. We know exactly what judgments are coming, as well as exactly what blessings are coming. He grants us the time to prepare and get right with Him.
10. Gives Us Hope
The tenth and final reason in this list (though there are so many more reasons why God has given us Bible prophecy) would be that it is meant to give Christians hope. The Lord wants us to understand how the future will play out. Sure, there are valleys in life we must traverse, and terrifying times are coming like the Tribulation which is hard to digest, but prophecy is meant to give us hope that this evil age will end. 
Jesus will return as promised to rapture up His Church before the Tribulation begins, then He will defeat evil, and finally He will institute His thousand-year kingdom of peace and righteousness and justice. We gain hope knowing that the Christian’s final destination is to dwell in peace with our Creator forever in the Eternal State.
So, Bible prophecy is meant to give hope to the believer in that we have a great future ahead of us. But, Bible prophecy is also meant to serve as a warning to the unbeliever about the eternal destiny they are facing in the Lake of Fire. And so, the Bible calls us all to repent and accept Jesus Christ and His loving sacrifice so that we may be reconciled with God and share in that eternal hope.
You probably agree that people sure need hope right now more than ever. So much craziness is going on in the world. People need to stop putting their hope in the things of this earth, whether they be political or monetary or whatever, that have provided a false and fleeting sense of comfort and stability. 
As we quickly approach the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, there is no other time in history more urgent in calling people to put their faith and hope in God alone.
God is perfect. His promises are true. Bible prophecy assures us that God knows what He is doing with our lives and in this soon-passing world. We can have a sure hope in that fact.
If you do not know Jesus Christ, then today is the day to accept Him as your Savior and make Him Lord of your life and so claim that blessed hope. If you already know Jesus as your Savior, then continue to grow in your relationship with Him, exhibiting holy living and practicing evangelism. Start by opening your Bible. And, as we hope you have just learned, don’t skip over the prophetic parts.

Have the Revelation Events Started?

Have the Revelation Events Started?       There are over 2,000 prophecies contained in the scriptures, and over 500 are left to be fulfilled within the timeline of the Book of Revelation. We are told in Rev 1:1 that God will Bless us if we read, hear, and take to heart what is written within the book. There must be a crucial reason why God tells us to read and understand what he has told us! All the Events, once started, will happen in Rapid Succession:       A careful analysis of the original Greek wording at the beginning of Revelation tells us that all the events within the book will come to pass very quickly once they have started. This means that all the remaining 500+ prophecies contained throughout all the scriptures will be fulfilled quickly.       Reading most English translations, most of us are familiar with the phrase “must shortly come to pass” (Rev 1:1) and also “for the time is at hand” (Rev 1:3). These phrases would seem to imply “in English” that all the events about to be revealed would transpire shortly after they were penned.  Since all scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit and since over 1,900 years have passed since the writing, we can be assured that the Holy Spirit could not mean our “English” meaning of “closeness in time” so let’s go back to the original Greek text to determine intended meaning.       1.  What does “must shortly come to pass” (Rev 1:1) mean? The Greek word used for “shortly” (en tachei) is used in three passages where this exact phrase is used to describe events that will not occur for a long way off (Luke 18:8; Rom 16:20; Rev 22:6) and does not mean that they will happen in the immediate future.       If we look at the Old Testament for similar phrases (as all scripture is inspired by the same Holy Spirit) we see that Isaiah writes around 700BC about the future destruction of Babylon which occurred after 539BC (Isa 13:22); and also he  talks about how the Assyrian invasion of Israel “will come with speed swiftly” (Isa 5:26) which we know that event didn’t happen for several hundred years; however, when it started, it proceeded very rapidly. The primary meaning for en tachei would then be about an event that will transpire “in quick succession” or “swiftly” or “rapidly”.  As a side note, even within our English language, we see lexicons that use the root word en tachei, which have the same meaning. For example, the word tachycardia (tachy = rapid secession; and kardia = the heart) means that a heart is beating “rapidly”.       2.  What does “for the time is at hand” (Rev 1:3) mean? The Greek phrase kairos engys used in this passage refers to “the right time”, “the right moment”, “the appointed time”, or “the opportune time”.  Gal 4:4 also uses that phrase stating, “But when the fullness of the time (kairos) has come, God sent forth His son”  Jesus was sent at the right time when it was ordained that he should come and not before.  The events of Revelation likewise will occur at their appointed time.       These verses together (Rev 1:1-3) therefore tell us that there is an appointed time when these events are to start, and when they do, they will occur in rapid succession.  We see this same language again repeated at the end of Revelation (Rev 22:6-7), which refers to the entire book of Revelation and has the same meaning. When do these events start?       We know that the events that Revelation talks about, once started, will happen in Rapid succession. God has provided us what events will occur, and their sequence and even says He will Bless us if we read, hear, and take them to heart. I, for one, wish this blessing so studying with all diligence.       We know that the first event is the opening of the 1st seal, where it is generally understood that this represents the spirit of the antichrist who conquers without firing a single shot.  When Jesus was asked about the sequence of the end-time events, He described this same sequence of the opening of the seals but gave us more information about the opening of the 1st seal and said for us to make sure that no one deceives us (Matt 24:4). In the last few years, we see Christians leaving following Christ in droves. Based on polls of those that say they are Christians, conservatively over 85% of them admit that they do not follow Christ and instead do what they desire at all times. Doesn’t it sound like they are being deceived and Christians are being conquered (not following Christ)?       1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 gives us the most important key to know when the final sequence of events will start. We are told, “Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the LORD will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety“, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”        This COVID pandemic has caused world-wide havoc. It has disrupted the manufacturing and distribution chains. It was cast a large percentage of the world’s population into financial difficulty. It seems logical to assume that this event, happening on a world-wide scale, would assist in triggering the opening of seal 2 (war), seal 3 (famine), and seal 4 (disease).  John tells us directly that 25% of the world’s population will die from these three events: that’s almost 2 billion people!        The most important part of that passage is the phrase “Peace and safety“.  Have you heard that phrase battered about in the last year since COVID started?  The United Nations, through their World Health Organization agency, has been saying the phrase “Peace and security” repeatedly and intensely over the last year!  This is technically the identical phrase that we are being warned about in 1 Thes 5:1-3.       Shortly after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic (on April 18, 2020), H.E. Antonio Guterres, the UN General Secretary, gave a world-wide address where he stated that we would “rebuild a fairer world as united global citizens and united nations”.  Using the phrase “peace and security”, they do not hesitate to tell us that their true intent is to “rebuild the world”.  We are warned in the scriptures that when we hear this phrase then “sudden destruction will come“.  Have the sequences of Revelation started? How do we receive His blessings and follow Him?        The New Testament provides God’s plan of salvation and how we should live our lives to serve him, and if we do, we will become his adopted children and live in Heaven with him eternally. Over the centuries, definitions of individual words have been slowly changing, and the original meanings of each of the 5,624 Koine Greek root words used in the New Testament have come to light.        The Pure Word is an unparalleled New Testament translation from the Original Greek, incorporating the original meanings as written at the time of Christ and the Apostles. Far be it for a congresswoman to recognize what the vast majority of Christian leaders in American can’t even recognize. The professing Church in America right now is facing the judgment of God as he is separating the sheep from the goats. While God’s judgment is reserved for the unconverted, it is undeniable that most of those who profess Christ in this nation are–because they’ve never actually experienced persecution–unconverted.

Interestingly, Marjorie Taylor Greene makes this case–and while this author does not necessarily endorse the faith of Greene, it is clear that what she recognizes has been revealed by God.

Todays’ church is spiritually anemic, without leaders willing to stand for the Word. The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) to which I belong, is intimidated by the carnal powers that be, and afraid to stand up for true doctrine. Our newly elected president, Ed Litton, whose plagiarizing was exposed immediately after entering office, is a perfect representation of listless, immoral and even apostate leaders. They are totally in lockstep with the Woke movement, Critical Race Theory (CRT), Black Lives Matter (BLM), and a host of other Politically Correct organizations. Since they have no solid Biblical foundation, they are all too willing to follow the worlds’ plethora of Pied Pipers over the cliff. Church leaders today even fear calling sodomy/homosexuality a sin when the Bible calls it an abomination.

When a secular congresswoman tells us like it is, this preaches volumes about the state of the church. America is under judgment. Pray for this sin sick nation. Should we pray for revival? STATEMENT regarding SBC president’s plagiarism pattern

STATEMENT: In light of an evidenced pattern of plagiarism, the Conservative Baptist Network joins thousands of Southern Baptists in calling for the resignation of SBC President Ed Litton

Recent weeks have brought to light evidence of repeated plagiarism of multiple sources on the part of Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) President Ed Litton. This sinful behavior and the lack of forthrightness when exposed is inconsistent with the character and integrity Southern Baptists rightfully expect from their president (Ex. 20:15, Prov. 28:6, 1 Tim. 3:2).Compounding the concern surrounding President Litton’s irrefutable pattern of plagiarism is the silence of nearly all SBC leaders. Further eroding the testimony of the SBC to a watching world is the way some SBC leaders have excused and even minimized this troubling behavior. Scripture says acquitting the guilty (Prov. 17:15) and calling evil “good” (Isaiah 5:20) are wrong. Deceitful behavior on the part of a pastor is doubly egregious as those holding this office are called to be “able to teach,” and to “study to show yourself approved.” Plagiarism is a violation of the 8th and 9th commandments, and Scripture warns that men leading Christ’s local churches will be judged with even greater strictness (James 3:1).The Conservative Baptist Network delayed commenting on this matter publicly in the hope that personal conversations and counsel with President Litton would lead him to acknowledge his error and repent (James 1:19, Gal. 6:1). Sadly, this has not occurred.  As further evidence of what appears to be serial plagiarism continues to surface in at least six videos from a variety of named sources, the Conservative Baptist Network calls on the leaders of the SBC to address this matter promptly and biblically.
