Sometimes I get frustrated over the leaders of the United States Of America and the job they seem to be doing in order to destroy us. Our allies no longer trust us and our enemies no longer fear us. Our leaders are limiting our military might and global influence, harming our unity, and destroying our economy. I could keep on going with this theme until the cows come home and I am sure you could add a lot more as well. But then I realized I have the correct perspective only from above, so I opened my Bible and received what Paul Harvey always called: “The rest of the story.” Isaiah the prophet, quotes the Lord as calling the nations “a drop in the bucket.” The Lord sets them up and takes them down. All nations have a limited time and influence in our world and just like our individual lives, that time is eventually over. Here is a verse that places everything into focus: Acts 17:26 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.” (NKJV) Hence whatever happens in America is within the Lord’s perfect sovereignty and plan. We do not have to be frustrated by circumstances since absolutely nothing happens without the Father’s consent. “The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh, blessed be the name of the Lord.” Amen and amen….. And He is coming, Pastor Steve
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A man fired from an Oklahoma food processing plant beheaded a woman with a knife and was attacking another worker when he was shot and wounded by a company official, police say.
Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said police are waiting until Alton Nolen, 30, is conscious to arrest him and have asked the FBI to help investigate after co-workers at Vaughan Foods in the south Oklahoma City suburb told authorities that he recently started trying to convert several employees to Islam.
During Thursday’s attack, Nolen severed the head of Colleen Hufford, 54, Lewis said.
“Yes, she was beheaded,” Lewis told The Associated Press before a Friday news conference.
Lewis said Nolen then stabbed Traci Johnson, 43, a number of times before Mark Vaughan, a reserve sheriff’s deputy and the company’s chief operating officer, shot him.
“This was not going to stop if he didn’t stop it. It could have gotten a lot worse,” Lewis said. “The threat had already stopped once we arrived.”
Lewis said Moore police have asked the FBI to look into the man’s background because of the nature of the attack, which follows a series of videotaped beheadings by Islamic State militants.
In a statement, FBI Special Agent in Charge James E. Finch said the motive for the attack has not been determined but that there is no reason to believe there is a threat to anyone else.
A law enforcement official familiar with the investigation told the AP that while there was indication that Nolen was a Muslim convert and was trying to convert others to Islam, there is so far no connection to terrorism and no evidence of any worrisome travel.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said Nolen had a Facebook page that was of potential interest to investigators but that “there doesn’t appear to be any nexus to terrorism right now.” But the official also said investigators were still looking into Nolen’s background.
Johnson and the suspect were hospitalized and in stable condition Friday, Lewis said. Nolen had not yet been charged and Lewis said he didn’t know what charges the suspect would face.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections records say Nolen has served time in prison and is on probation for assault and battery on a police officer. He also was convicted of cocaine possession with intent to distribute in 2011.
Corrections records show Nolen has what appear to be religious tattoos, including one referencing Jesus and one in Arabic that means “peace be with you.”
Lewis said Nolen had been fired in a building that houses the company’s human resources office, then immediately drove to the entrance of the business. Lewis said he didn’t know why the man was fired.
A Vaughan spokeswoman said the company was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the attack.

This rings of end times’ eschatological significance so strongly that we can hear the hoof beats of the four horsemen of the apocalypse! Read Revelation 20:4, and I mean READ IT. This verse refers to those Christians who become saved in the tribulation period and refuse to receive the mark of the beast or worship either him or his image. Yes, they will be beheaded. This verse will be referred to more and more and more, as people realize that Islamic barbarians are the only ones who behead people, and they so enjoy beheading those innocent ones who refuse to worship their god. I can see Gabriel set to blow the trumpet. The times we are living in are all set to usher in the end of the church age and rapture, whenever God allows an event(s) to become the harbinger of the Day of the Lord. Do you have any unfinished business witnessing to friends and family? Tomorrow may be too late. “Today is the day of salvation.” Maranatha, Pastor Steve
Algerian extremists allied with the “Islamic State” (IS) group have decapitated a French hostage after France ignored their demand to stop airstrikes in Iraq, The Associated Press (AP) reported Wednesday.
A group calling itself Jund al-Khilafah, or the Soldiers of the Caliphate, said after abducting Herve Gourdel on Sunday that he would be killed within 24 hours unless France ended its airstrikes against Islamic State fighters in Iraq.
The French government has insisted it will not back down. It would not immediately comment on the beheading video.
Terrorism watchdog SITE Intelligence Group distributed a video by Jund al-Khilafah Wednesday announcing Gourdel’s death, according to AP.
Gourdel was a 55-year-old mountaineering guide from Nice seized in mountains of northern Algeria.
The video resembled those showing the beheadings of two American journalists and a British aid worker in recent weeks, but instead of showing President Barack Obama, it showed French President Francois Hollande, AP reported.
France started airstrikes in Iraq on Friday, the first country to join the U.S. military campaign against the Islamic State fighters there.
“Our values are at stake,” French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Wednesday after hearing about the video. He would not comment further, but minutes earlier he insisted that France would continue fighting in Iraq as long as necessary.
Our Daily Bread
September 25, 2014
Years ago an anonymous writer penned a short poem about the merits of measuring our words.
A wise old owl sat in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard;
Why can’t we all be like that wise old bird?
There is a connection between wisdom and limiting what we say. Proverbs 10:19 says, “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.”
We are wise to be careful about what we say or how much we say in certain situations. It makes sense to guard our words when we are angry. James urged his fellow believers, “Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” (James 1:19). Restraining our words can also show reverence for God. Solomon said, “God is in heaven, and you on earth; therefore let your words be few” (Eccl. 5:2). When others are grieving, our silent presence may help more than abundant expressions of sympathy: “No one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief was very great” (Job 2:13).
Although there is a time to be quiet and a time to speak (Eccl. 3:7), choosing to speak less allows us to hear more.
know when to speak and when to listen.
I want to encourage others and to care
for them as You have cared for me.

http://www.godsnews.com The previous article on this blog is a newsletter from God’s News Behind The News. This ministry majors on an excellent interpretation of current events in relation to the Bible and prophecy. They have a very good understanding of how Islam fits into the end times scenario:
The following articles from God’s News Behind The News (GNBN) give Christians an understanding of global current events, Radical Islam, the Middle East, Israel and End Times Prophecy. This ministry and website is based out of the Gateway Christian Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. They host the Annual Prophecy Conference in either St. Petersburg or Brookville Florida in late March each year. Pastor Steve
Reflections On The News
The IMB missionary’s second testimony and newsletter will be delayed. The missionary(s) are suddenly under great stress (no, not life threatening) and in the midst of an international move. I can share more in person with those who attend prayer meetings at church, but due to security reasons I cannot share on line. Pray for these missionaries who have given their whole lives for the cause of Christ. As soon as I receive the next installment of the missionary(s) testimony and newsletter, I will place it on this site. Blessings, Pastor Steve
…………..in my opinion does not exist. You may as well refer to a heavenly devil. Political Correctness (PC) seems to force our media to speak about the good and peaceful Islamic movements. The so called “radicals” are simply following the teachings of their founder Mohammad and what he did and taught at the beginning of this religion. Mohammad beheaded between 600-900 Jews in a single day. They are also following the teachings in the Koran which calls Jews and Christians pigs and monkeys, and tells their followers to kill all infidels (anyone who is not a Muslim). Have you ever heard a major outcry from the Muslim world over 9/11 or the recent beheadings of two American journalists and one British aid worker? No, and you never will. The peaceful Palestinians were handing out candy and dancing in the streets following 9/11. The Muslim faith teaches that a period of chaos and confusion will usher in the time when Islam rules the world– that is when the world will be at total peace as the crescent moon flies everywhere. Yes indeed, there are noncombatant Muslim civilians living in large neighborhoods throughout Europe and America. They have already implemented Sharia Law where they live. The English Police (Bobbies) will not even enter the London neighborhoods where they have declared Sharia Law. These “peaceful” citizens are simply waiting to become larger in number, more influential, and for the local imam to come on the scene and challenge them to “take over,” which is what their religion dictates. Follow this “peaceful” movement all around the world throughout their history and you will see that they thrive on aggressive pugilism. Have you seen the COEXIST bumper stickers? There is really no need for the sticker except for Muslims. In my opinion they are displayed in order to “persuade” Muslims to live in peace with people of other faiths. If you believe these stickers will influence them, then I found a piece of real estate in the everglades for you to build your house on. I would rather promote the Author of salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ, than attempt to persuade Muslims to do what they will never do. They will coexist with everyone else ONLY when Allah rules over all. This PC mentality in our nation will lead to our rapid demise, as our so called intelligentsia, media, educational institutions, churches, and elected government representatives are all afraid to call Islam what it truly is: an intolerant religion that says “convert or die.” If you love the Lord Jesus Christ, pray for revival in the United States of America.
Islam is a cultural, social, political, economic, religious and military ideology that is not compatible with our United States Constitution or our jurisprudence. These people desire to totally “take over” wherever they go. Freedom of religion is not in their vocabulary.
Now that radical Islamists are targeting western nations, they are using coded speech to communicate their messages with one another on cell phones in case their transmissions are intercepted. Here are a few of them:
1)peanut butter and jelly- a jihad
2)culinary school- training camp
3)wedding- terrorist attack
4)rap concert- the dry run, the training run
5)rash, skin disease- surveillance who are watching the terrorists
The terrorists are tech-savvy and use many cryptic messages to convey their terror plots. They use Twitter and Facebook, and are not shy about sharing their information. Millennials are prone to revealing way too much private information on the internet, and the terrorists are guilty of this also, much to the delight of law enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The goals of extreme radical Islamic terrorists are to 1)establish a strong caliphate and Islamic state in the Middle East, and 2)to continue to attack/infiltrate, and ultimately subdue all of the western nations, thus making Islam the world’s only religion.
82)hex- six/ If one places a “hex” on you, we would interpret that as a curse. It is the casting of a spell. How interesting that it is identified with the number six, which is symbolic of the number of incomplete man and of Satan (666).
83)hepta- seven/ The number seven is representative of God’s perfection and completion.
84)eulogia- fine speaking, elegance/ We obviously get the word eulogy directly from the Greek, with little, if any change in meaning. Today a eulogy are usually words at a funeral or memorial service that build up the one who just passed on into eternity. From a Christian perspective, however, this can cloud the message of the Gospel, which people at such services need to hear so much more.
85)theatron- place for a public show/ The Greeks and Romans have left many theatres behind and they can be seen in Europe and the Middle East. Their famed outdoor theatres were made in such a way that thousands of people could easily hear all of the speaking because the acoustics were impeccable.
86)theos- God/ Hence theology is the formal study of God.
87)theophilos- friend of God/ Abraham was a friend of God (and still is).
88)therme`- warmth, heat/ The words thermometer and temperature are derived from therme`.
89)hilaros- cheerful/ Hilarious! The animal called the laughing hyena is likewise derived from hilaros.
90) charisma- gift/ A charismatic person is one whose speech and/or personality exhibits a magnitude for the multitude. The word has a different meaning today, however, when referring to charismatic churches. (Refer to category “Charismatic Chaos”).
91)nomos- law/ In a Christian, Jewish or Biblical perspective, this word refers to God’s law.
92)antinomian- against the law/ These are professing believers who abuse the doctrine of grace, and in actuality they supersede the law of God. Jude 4: They turn God’s grace into lasciviousness or a license to sin without punishment. Paul said: “Should we sin that grace may abound? Heaven forbid!”
93)deuteronomy- second law/ The book of Deuteronomy was the second time the law was given to the Israelites. After the original Israelites all died in the wilderness after rebelling against the Lord, the law had to be given once again to all of those who finally entered into the promised land.
94)iota- ninth letter of the Greek alphabet, very small part of anything, jot/ This word is used in the English in the same way today. It means very little of anything.
95)kleptes- stealer, thief/ One who pilfers.
96)klepto- to filch, steal/ We have the word kleptomaniac which refers to one who often takes things that do not belong to them.
97)legeon- Roman remnant/ It is a Roman military division between 3,000 and 6,000 men. It can refer to any military unit. In the Bible it refers to a large group of demons.
98)logikos- reasonable, of the word/ One can easily observe the root word logos in logikos. We get the word logical from logikos. This is something that makes sense, given the facts.
………………..many more to follow
