Outrageous: White House bans religious Easter egg designs and makes Easter Sunday “Transgender Day of Visibility”

I could not publish this blasphemous article on Easter Sunday so I waited until the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was over. Our president has trampled on the holiest day of the Christian faith in favor of abominations and perversion. This man is soon to stand before the Lord in judgment. The Lord help him. Our country is obviously under judgment for such a declaration to be made on Easter by our president. There is absolutely no end to the terrible news in our nation. Most believers I speak with think we are in the midst of a paradigm shift, rapidly preparing the world for the Great Tribulation period. I cannot believe how quickly things have changed and how even mere decency, respect and civility are all but extinct. Maranatha, Pastor Steve <><

The White House has issued an official proclamation declaring March 31, 2024 — Easter Sunday — Transgender Day of Visibility— a brazen attack on truth and on the deeply held beliefs of millions of Christian Americans.

MARCH 29, 2024

The White House

A Proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility, 2024

  1. HOME
  2. BRIEFING ROOM
  3. PRESIDENTIAL ACTIONS

On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect Union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives.

I am proud that my Administration has stood for justice from the start, working to ensure that the LGBTQI+ community can live openly, in safety, with dignity and respect.  I am proud to have appointed transgender leaders to my Administration and to have ended the ban on transgender Americans serving openly in our military.  I am proud to have signed historic Executive Orders that strengthen civil rights protections in housing, employment, health care, education, the justice system, and more.  I am proud to have signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law, ensuring that every American can marry the person they love.

Transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our Nation.  Whether serving their communities or in the military, raising families or running businesses, they help America thrive.  They deserve, and are entitled to, the same rights and freedoms as every other American, including the most fundamental freedom to be their true selves.  But extremists are proposing hundreds of hateful laws that target and terrify transgender kids and their families — silencing teachers; banning books; and even threatening parents, doctors, and nurses with prison for helping parents get care for their children.  These bills attack our most basic American values:  the freedom to be yourself, the freedom to make your own health care decisions, and even the right to raise your own child.  It is no surprise that the bullying and discrimination that transgender Americans face is worsening our Nation’s mental health crisis, leading half of transgender youth to consider suicide in the past year.  At the same time, an epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, especially women and girls of color, continues to take too many lives.  Let me be clear:  All of these attacks are un-American and must end.  No one should have to be brave just to be themselves.

At the same time, my Administration is working to stop the bullying and harassment of transgender children and their families.  The Department of Justice has taken action to push back against extreme and un-American State laws targeting transgender youth and their families and the Department of Justice is partnering with law enforcement and community groups to combat hate and violence.  My Administration is also providing dedicated emergency mental health support through our nationwide suicide and crisis lifeline — any LGBTQI+ young person in need can call “988” and press “3” to speak with a counselor trained to support them.  We are making public services more accessible for transgender Americans, including with more inclusive passports and easier access to Social Security benefits.  There is much more to do.  I continue to call on the Congress to pass the Equality Act, to codify civil rights protections for all LGBTQI+ Americans.

Today, we send a message to all transgender Americans:  You are loved.  You are heard.  You are understood.  You belong.  You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.  I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.

     IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-ninth day of March, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-eighth.

                             JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR.

Religious Persecution Against Christians In The West Rising At Alarming Rate

Religious Persecution Against Christians In The West Rising At Alarming Rate
 BY SA MCCARTHY/THE WASHINGTON STAND FEBRUARY 01, 2024
Religious persecution against Christians in the Western world is rising at an alarming rate, according to a new report from Family Research Council’s Center for Religious Liberty. It is shocking to see Western countries — the same ones we think of as free and open societies — take authoritarian measures against Christians simply trying to live out their faith.

Religious persecution against Christians in the Western world is rising at an alarming rate, according to a new report from Family Research Council’s Center for Religious Liberty.

In the 2024 edition of “Free to Believe? The Intensifying Intolerance Toward Christians in The West,” the Center for Religious Liberty identified 168 incidents of anti-Christian hatred or discrimination from January 2020 to the end of 2023, including 33 incidents last year alone. Although 2020 (61) and 2021 (49) saw the most incidents of persecution against Christians, the majority were related to COVID-19 lockdown violations, but the report notes an increase in intolerance toward public and even private expression of biblical worldviews in the West.

The report states, “As the mainstream culture moves further and further away from a Christian worldview, Christian beliefs that contradict progressive secular values are increasingly denounced by the culture and wrongly portrayed as being hateful or bigoted.” It adds, “The past three years each having fewer incidents than 2020 does not necessarily indicate an overall decline in intolerance toward Christians. … Although FRC identified fewer incidents related to COVID-19 after 2020, incidents that we identified of Christians facing discrimination for their biblically informed beliefs increased.”

“This report is a warning call,” wrote FRC President Tony Perkins in a letter attached to the report. “It is shocking to see Western countries — the same ones we think of as free and open societies — take authoritarian measures against Christians simply trying to live out their faith.

Hostility toward Bible-believing Christians is clearly and steadily rising in the West.” Perkins, former commissioner of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, added, “Religious freedom is the foundation for the human rights that Western democracies seek to promote abroad. Yet, the ability to promote this fundamental human right will be lost if we do not protect it within our borders.”

In comments to The Washington Stand, Center for Religious Liberty Director Arielle Del Turco said, “We remain clear-eyed about religious freedom conditions in Western democracies. It’s easy to take our rights for granted, but we are seeing governments across the West target Christians to be silenced, restricted, or fined for living out their faith or expressing their religious beliefs.” She continued, “Often, the pressure point revolves around Christians’ ability to speak about doctrine that contradicts mainstream secular orthodoxy on issues such as abortion, transgenderism, or same-sex marriage.”

Although the report is “far from exhaustive,” some of the 2023 incidents in the U.S. include:

An Ohio pastor being fined for allowing homeless to sleep in his church;

A Texas church being charged excessive fees by a county utility company and seeing those fees doubled after the church noted its tax-exempt status;

The Oklahoma attorney general suing a virtual school board for approving a publicly-funded Catholic charter school;

An Oregon couple being denied a foster care license due to their biblical views on sex and gender;

A California library cancelling a Moms for Liberty event when a speaker expressed biblical views on gender and biology;

A Georgia church being threatened with fines for hosting a car show as a form of community outreach;

A Christian school in Colorado being denied a religious exemption from a pro-LGBT state discrimination law;

An Oregon church being threatened with fines for providing free meals to the homeless;

A school counselor in Indiana being fired for speaking out against her school district’s preferred pronoun policy;

A Vermont Christian school being barred from a state tuition program for upholding biblical values on sex and gender;

A Christian high school coach (also in Vermont) being fired for saying that there’s a biological difference between men and women;

An Arizona elementary school district ending a teaching partnership with Arizona Christian University;

A California teacher being fired for refusing to comply with a policy hiding students’ gender transitions from parents; and

A Colorado cake shop owner being sued for refusing to make cakes celebrating gender transitions, Satanism, or marijuana use.

In the United Kingdom, two town councilors were penalized (one was even arrested) for speaking out against a local Pride parade, a school chaplain was fired for telling students they don’t “have to accept the ideas of LGBT activists,” and at least six people were arrested or fined for praying outside abortion facilities or holding pro-life signs.

In Canada, a pastor was arrested twice for praying outside a library drag queen story hour, a church was fined for hosting in-person services in 2020, and a teen at a Catholic school was arrested for organizing a protest against biological men using women’s bathrooms.

A Christian hybrid school was shut down in Germany, a Maltese health care worker was charged with a crime for sharing in an interview how he left the homosexual lifestyle, a Norwegian city denied Christian organizations community grant funding due to their biblical views on sex and gender, a woman was arrested in Spain for praying the rosary, and a Swedish bakery was investigated for refusing to bake a same-sex wedding cake.

Perkins noted, “This report is merely a sampling of the rise of actions by Western governmental officials that target Christians’ ability to practice and express their faith, especially in the public square.” He explained that the report “is a call to individuals to vigorously exercise their religious freedom while at the same time calling upon government officials to recognize and prioritize the protection of this fundamental human right so that religious freedom can continue to be promoted around the world.”

Mentioning Jesus Christ On NBC? NFL Star Learns That Will Get You Censored

C. J. Stroud gave one of the most powerful and matter of fact testimonies that I have ever heard, in or out of the world of sports. His testimony was censored by the major networks (NBC). I really believe he did not care. He simply uplifts the Lord Jesus Christ when God opens the door. I believe he probably is used to it and even expects it. Why?

2 Timothy 3:12 King James Version

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Thank you for your faithfulness C. J., and for being an inspiration to me. In Christ, Pastor Steve <><

Mentioning Jesus Christ On NBC? NFL Star Learns That Will Get You Censored
 BY SARAH HOLLIDAY/WASHINGTON STAND JANUARY 20, 2024
It’s disconcerting to realize NBC is actively censoring a player praising Jesus after a massive win. Would NBC have censored his speech if he praised transgenders or Palestinians?

After Saturday’s historic win, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud wanted to make sure God got the glory first. The NFL’s Rookie of the Year finalist led the team to victory and was immediately interviewed by NBC to talk about the team’s trip to the playoffs. “First and foremost,” Stroud said, “I just want to give all glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Stroud is well known for his athleticism, but he’s also known for his deep Christian faith in real life and on social media. As journalist Bobby Burack wrote, “Stroud is rightfully front and center of the sports conversation. And so is his faith.” In a world of intense politicization, Stroud is determined to identify unabashedly as a follower of Christ. But not without censorship from the media.

The “Sunday Night Football on NBC” account posted the interview on X, but the line where the football player praised God was edited out. They captioned the post saying, “CJ Stroud has a lot of love for his city.” But those who knew the player was proclaiming his love for God are calling out the network for removing the comment about Jesus. Lenny Dykstra, former New York Mets star, said, “I have a feeling there are going to be a lot more post-postseason win interviews with him that the dinosaur media is going to have to edit as well.”

Citizen Free Press criticized the decision. “It’s disconcerting to realize NBC is actively censoring a player praising Jesus after a massive win. Would NBC have censored his speech if he praised transgenders or Palestinians?” Another user said, “These are the same people who have no problem showing BLM propaganda all over their show. Because that’s OK and acceptable. Mentioning Jesus Christ? That’s considered hate speech.” And many other fans continue to express their disapproval of NBC’s tampering.

But Stroud has made it clear that his faith comes first, and he continues to reiterate that, no matter how the media reacts. “It’s what’s kept me grounded through my season,” he said earlier last year. “Football has a lot of ups and downs, it has a lot of twists and turns, but at the end of the day, it’s all about your foundation. And something that’s set my foundation is my faith.”

Joseph Backholm, senior fellow for Biblical Worldview and Strategic Engagement at Family Research Council, shared with The Washington Stand that “it’s not unusual for a player to thank God publicly during comments after a game,” but what we’re seeing is that the “priests of the sexual revolution are uniquely triggered by the name of Jesus.”

He continued, “They’re more inclined to tolerate someone who thanks God because it’s vague. The name of Jesus is not vague. It’s likely C.J. Stroud would have been tolerated, if not celebrated, for letting his authentic self be seen if he had thanked ‘Mother God’ or the ‘divine light within.’ But his words glorifying Jesus obviously triggered someone” at NBC.

Backholm explained that Stroud is an example for other believers of how Christians should live. “It’s clear he has made a conscious decision to deflect praise from himself to Jesus, which is good for his soul,” he said. “But it’s also encouraging to everyone watching to see people speaking publicly and favorably about Jesus in a context many would see as secular.”

As he pointed out, “If this happens often, it becomes normal and easy to do. If it happens rarely or never, it becomes strange or difficult to do.” So, standing boldly in faith as Stroud uses his platform for is significant “because it makes it easier for other people to do likewise.”

Saturday People, Sunday People And Americans At Risk

Breaking News Updates – December 05, 2023

BY LELA GILBERT/WASHINGTON STAND DECEMBER 05, 2023

If we remain silent about what is happening to Jewish people all over the world, Christians will soon face the same kind of abuses. “In fact,” he pointed out, “those terrorists always say, ‘The Saturday people are first. The Sunday people are next.’ They use those terms to identify Jews and Christians. They don’t even hide it!”

On November 29 in New York, the traditional lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center Square was violently disrupted by hundreds of protestors, many in Islamic garb, chanting “From the River to the Sea…” — a call for the destruction of Israel. At least two signs bearing Nazi swastikas were in full view.

“The Christmas tree brings a message of peace, not conflict,” one frustrated tourist said. “That’s why we’re gathered here today, not to protest but to welcome in the holiday season!”

Unfortunately, far more than the Christmas holidays will be at risk as anti-Semitic, anti-Christian hatred continues to catch fire in the United States. Jews and Christians are clearly in the crosshairs of radical Islamists, not only in the Middle East and across the world, but also here at home.

Tony Perkins recently hosted a “Washington Watch” conversation about the ongoing Gaza War with retired Israel Defense Forces Major and Middle East expert Amir Tsarfati. Perkins explained, “When I chaired the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, we were looking at this rise of anti-Semitism in Western Europe. And historically speaking, Israel is the ‘canary in the coal mine.'”

Tsarfati agreed wholeheartedly. He went on to say that if we remain silent about what is happening to Jewish people all over the world, Christians will soon face the same kind of abuses. “In fact,” he pointed out, “those terrorists always say, ‘The Saturday people are first. The Sunday people are next.’ They use those terms to identify Jews and Christians. They don’t even hide it!”

Tsarfati’s remarks mirror my own research, reflected in my book “Saturday People, Sunday People.” His words expose the ominous fulfillment of that deadly Islamist threat, which appears in graffiti across the world. In Arabic it says, “On Saturday we kill the Jews, on Sunday we kill the Christians.”

In several Middle East countries, Jewish populations no longer exist — either driven out or killed. And today, Christian populations are fleeing for their lives in those same nations.

In Syria

In 1947, the Syrian Jewish population numbered around 15,000. As of 2022, only four Jews remained in Syria.

As the Jews vanished, according to The Syrian Observer, “… the number of Christians in Syria has fallen in a decade from one and a half million (10 percent of the population) before 2011 to about 300,000 today (less than 2 percent of the population).”

Open Doors World Watch List ranks Syria as the 12th worst persecutor of Christians in the world.

In Iraq

“Iraq’s Jewish Community Dwindles to Fewer than Five,” France24 reported in 2021.

While Iraqi Jews have all but disappeared, Iraq’s Christian community is also dwindling. Iraqi Christians date back to the church’s first centuries. As recently as early 2021, The Associated Press reported, “Iraq was estimated to have nearly 1.5 million Christians before the 2003 U.S.-led invasion that toppled dictator Saddam Hussein.”

Today, “church officials estimate only a few hundred thousand, or even less, remain within Iraq’s borders.” More recently, violent assaults on clergy and other Christians have become an everyday occurrence, including bombings and church massacres.

Open Doors lists Iraq as the 18th worst persecutor of Christians in the world.

In Yemen

“Yemen’s Jewish Population, Once Over 50,000, Drops to Below 10,” Israel’s Haaretz reported in 2021.

Unlike the Jews, Yemen’s Christians have experienced some toleration of their traditional churches. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Church continue to exist, despite shrinking memberships. They are far less vulnerable to abuse than Christian converts from Islam.

In Yemen, it is illegal to leave Islam and embrace Christianity, which means that accurate numbers of Yemeni Christians are difficult, if not impossible, to find. A Google search result states that Yemeni believers, “live in fear of persecution or charges of apostasy and so rarely declare their religious identities publicly. Today, the number of Yemeni Christians is estimated to be between 2,000 – 4,000. Until recently, four churches remained in the Aden governorate from the British colonial period.”

Yemen’s Saturday People are gone; Meanwhile, Yemen is the third worst persecutor of Sunday People in the world.

In Libya

The Jewish Virtual Library reports that there are no remaining Jews in Libya.

“Though Libya had been home to a Jewish community for thousands of years, and though the Jews had lived under Greek, Roman, Ottoman, Italian, British, and Arab rule, no trace of this once-thriving community exists anymore.”

As for the safety and security of today’s Libyan Christians? In May 2023, six Libyans were sentenced to death for converting to Christianity. According to The Guardian, “The six Libyans have been charged for circulating views that aim to ‘alter fundamental constitutional principles, or the fundamental structures of the social order,’ or overthrow the state…”

Open Doors explains that if Muslim background Libyans become Christians, “they are likely to face intense pressure and abuse from their family and the wider community to make them renounce their faith, or even be killed. Christians who publicly express their faith and try to share the gospel with others are likely to face arrest or retribution from extremist groups.”

Libya is the fifth worst persecutor of Christians in the world.

In Lebanon

In 1948, there were 20,000 Jews living in Lebanon; as of 2020, only 29 Jews remained there.

Brady Knox recently reported in the Washington Examiner, “In the mid-20th century, Lebanon was one of the wealthiest and most prosperous countries in the Middle East. Its capital, Beirut, was once known as the Paris of the Middle East. It was the only state in the Middle East where Christianity was dominant, at one point making up over 60% of the population.

But today, Lebanon’s Christians are persecuted. Knox writes that “the country is in free fall. … The more powerful and influential Hezbollah becomes in Lebanon, the less safe Lebanese Christians are.”

And What about America?

Beyond the Middle East, Jews and Christians live dangerously in most Muslim majority countries, most notably in Somalia, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sudan.

However, Amir Tsarfati’s concerns are particularly focused on the United States. Raging campus protests against Jews, and violent New York opposition to Christian holiday celebrations couldn’t illustrate his fears more powerfully.

“Right now, America must wake up!” he told Perkins. “Your southern border is so open, and I can’t even imagine how many Hezbollah and Hamas cells are already in your country right now. They’re testing you. And look, they’ve waited and waited and deceived us and the whole world. And then boom, one day they will strike.”

I’m Prepared to Die. I Hope You Are Too.

During the current political crisis in America and around the world, it’s easy to become frustrated and overwhelmed by what could happen. For many, taking a stand for your faith, your conscience, and your values could spell the end of your career, your income, your livelihood, and even your life.

For some, refusing an experimental medical procedure that was passed off as a “vaccine” has already cost them jobs. And while it seems like that push has tapered down somewhat for a time, Democrats are vowing to push even harder next time. It doesn’t appear as though it will get any better any time soon. In fact, the Biden administration has even promised to continue to make the national supply chain crisis worse until everyone has succumbed to the vaccine mandates. Many, if not most, will likely cave. This is the definition of tyranny.

There is no doubt about it, especially when children are involved, that people just want to return to their normal lives. But others see the bigger issue at play. Succumbing to tyranny never results in less tyranny; it always results in more. And this is why people are worried. Some are willing to die for the cause; liberty has never been gained or preserved without those who are willing and prepared to give their life for it.

As Christians, however, we have something the other side doesn’t have. We have peace. We are not tormented and enslaved by the fear of death the way the Pagans are (Hebrews 2:15)—this is why they desperately seek worldly solutions. But their efforts are futile; truth and integrity will outlast all of that.

As we seek to continue to proclaim Christ and stand for truth and justice, here are some things to remember:

  • As Christians, we are called to obey the Scriptures—even when it doesn’t seem feasible or even logical to do so. Jesus said we would be blessed (Luke 11:28).
  • We are told to trust in God alone, not the schemes of men, the laws of the land, science or medical innovations, and especially ourselves. These things may be gifts from God when used properly, but they are not replacements for His sovereignty (Proverbs 3:5-6).
  • We should be prepared to die and live as though it is our last day. What we do on Earth should be focused on Heaven and we should seek to do things that will have eternal consequences. As Christians, our hearts and treasures should be in Heaven (Matthew 6:19-21).

Every moment we have in this life should be focused on the glory of God. This means being obedient, exercising faith, and seeing that the gospel goes forth. It’s easy to get caught up in the whims of culture—the professing Church may be focused on the whims of the Pagan culture. Things such as racism and social justice. And they do so at the expense of the gospel. But we must turn our focus away from these things as they do not build up our Heavenly treasury.

2 Corinthians 8:9 draws a beautiful picture of what it means to store up treasures in Heaven,

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

This is the gospel of Jesus Christ, that Jesus laid down His life so that we could live. That beautiful truth, that Christ came to Earth as God, in the form of a man and lived a perfect life—a life that we could not live. He fulfilled the requirement of God’s law completely, never once sinned. Yet, He died in our place according to the Scriptures, took the punishment that we deserved on the cross bearing the full wrath of God the Father, was buried, and rose again three days later, defeating sin and death, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father forever making intercession for those who would repent and believe on Him.

This is the only treasure we need to worry about storing up. I am a sinner like no one else. Though it can be tempting sometimes, I honestly can’t point to anyone and say that person is a worse sinner than I am. I’ve been addicted to drugs. I’ve been to prison in a foreign country. And yet, somehow, God chose me out of the muck and mire of a life that I was in and He used the death of my own father to start that process.

Make sure you pass that good news on to as many people as possible before you leave this world, whether it be tomorrow or 80 years from now. Do not fear, cast your anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7), repent of your sin, and trust in Him alone. I hope you’re prepared to die.

Is Worldwide Jew Hatred Setting The Stage For The Tribulation Period?

Breaking News Updates – November 10, 2023

BY DEAN DWYER/HARBINGER’S DAILY NOVEMBER 10, 2023

Embracing Jew-hatred is not only an indicator of cultural decline but also of God’s impending judgement. The evidence of this is found not only in the Bible but also the history books. Egypt, Philistia, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, Germany and the Soviet Union.

In our current social and political paradigm, people tend to see things two dimensionally – usually to the left or to the right. Of course, as current trends bear witness to, this is causing a great deal of social and political friction, which often spills over into violence.

Sometimes this is agitated by nefarious forces who have a deeper agenda and sometimes it occurs organically, aided by a spiritual enemy who hates mankind, who hates the Jews and who hates God. The latest trigger point for demonically inspired violence against Jews is the war that Israel is conducting against Hamas and Hezbollah.

Aside from the spiritual paradigm with which Christians view and stand with Israel, most rational people (even unbelievers) would have a sense that sympathizing with Hamas right now is akin to endorsing the kidnap, torture, rape, beheading and murder of Jews. People who thought that the horrors of the Holocaust were long behind them have suddenly been shaken by a terrifying sense of foreboding as people the world over call for the annihilation of Jews once again.

In the early stages of Hitler’s plan to exterminate the Jews, perhaps ordinary people in far-off nations would have pleaded ignorance to the Jewish plight on the basis that the news didn’t reach them. However, this time around, the evidence of Jew-hatred is there for all to see since antisemites cannot resist posting their abhorrent material online.

It must be said that it is vitally important for Christians right now to hold a Biblical worldview. In short, this means that the believer clings tightly to the very Scriptures that offer practical and spiritual wisdom that enables us to consider everything we encounter in the world from a godly perspective. For all people (believers or unbelievers), when faced with a problem or challenge, our worldview becomes the source and foundation on which we make our actions or response.

This means that whatever content we filter into our worldview will determine how we act, speak and think. Therefore, it is probably of little surprise that the most vulgar displays of antisemitism have been found on college and university campuses because many colleges and universities of this era are indoctrinating their students with politically progressive and unbiblical ideas.

The fundamental reason behind this is that students are taught what to think rather than how to think. As an American newscaster once said, “They [professors] dominate and intimidate the students. If you go up against them, your grade often suffers. There is a tyranny in higher education that is gravely harming this nation.”

Another reason that colleges and universities seem to be hotbeds for hatred is that many are taught that the only paradigm with which to view the world is the “oppressor” and “oppressed” class. Ostensibly, the education system (including lower grade schools) has sought to address cultural and racial prejudice but has in fact inflamed the culture and race wars. For example, James Logan High School in California offers a course in ethnic studies and social justice that aims to teach students to challenge and criticize power, oppression, capitalism, white supremacy, imperialism and colonialism.

From their website we read, “Ethnic Studies encompasses the 5 C’s: Cultural Competence, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Community and Creativity. It is curriculum relevant and accurate to the cultures in our classroom and it is a path to understanding and appreciating everyone’s identity, the factors that create it, and the evolution of identity.

Ethnic studies will help students understand how our social construct is affected by race and the root causes of oppression, power, and privilege.” Furthermore, the New Haven Unified School District’s Ethnic Studies and Social Justice Academy (which is part of James Logan High School) adopt the motto: “Learn, Lead, Liberate” which features a (socialist) raised fist grasping a pencil.

Don’t be fooled by the benign sounding name, “ethnic studies”. It is simply Critical Race Theory in disguise. It is a cleverly crafted deception that, on the face of it, offers a unifying cultural learning experience while essentially promoting hostility amongst races. In fact, recent reports indicate that Minnesotan lawmakers are introducing changes to their education system which are among some of the most radical in the country.

The changes aren’t about education – they are about incitement to take action to disrupt and dismantle America’s fundamental social and political institutions. Minnesota’s new K-12 social studies standards exemplified this ideology as it requires students to organize with others to resist systemic and coordinated exercises of power against marginalized, oppressed groups.

Education institutions are no longer focused on raising socially adjusted, educated people. New education standards and related benchmarks are focused on instilling a seed within people that leads to hostility against any who belong to the “oppressor” class.

To give examples, kindergartners must “retell a story about an unfair experience that conveys a power imbalance.” First-graders must “identify examples of ethnicity, equality, liberation and systems of power and use those examples to construct meanings for those terms.” How times have changed. In first grade I was focused on colouring in and producing poorly made craft items which my family would pretend to love.

Our young adults are supposed to be viewed as leaders of the future. Sadly, their education experience has led them to believe in vulgar binaries in which they must place themselves and the rest of humanity. When I was young, we often played war games. The premise was simple – there were good guys and there were bad guys. And, just like those pretend war games in our youth, it would appear that many view the world through a similar and unalterable paradigm – good guys (oppressed) and bad guys (oppressors).

That is why, despite the horrors of the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, many refuse to see Israel as oppressed. Long ago, it was determined by social justice crusaders that Israel will perpetually fall into the category of oppressor and because of the oppressor-oppressed narrative, people assign themselves a moral licence to identify and hate the oppressor (Israel) without disrupting their conscience.

Antisemitism is an early indicator of a troubled culture and if the terrorist attack by Hamas teaches us anything, it is that Western nations are in deeper trouble than they thought. Many may claim that the virtue of free speech must be upheld. But free speech which abuses this privilege to spew Jew-hatred must be denounced and condemned. Free speech of the kind we are hearing throughout our nations is not the hallmark of a free and vibrant culture – it is the hallmark of a culture which is in great spiritual peril.

In 2022, Deborah Lipstadt, a noted historian and the US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, said this: “Antisemitism is like the canary in the coal mine of democracy. It is a threat, a warning. If you’re an antisemite, then you think, well, the justice system isn’t fair because it’s controlled by Jews. The government isn’t fair because it’s controlled by Jews. The media isn’t fair because it’s controlled by Jews. You lose faith in the democratic institutions. As a historian, I can think of no democracy that tolerated antisemitism and remained a vibrant democracy.”

Deborah is correct. But the peril is even greater than that. Embracing Jew-hatred is not only an indicator of cultural decline but also of God’s impending judgement. The evidence of this is found not only in the Bible but also the history books. Egypt, Philistia, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, the Byzantines, the Crusaders, the Spanish Empire, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. They all touched the apple of God’s eye and felt God’s hand of judgement. As Christians, we must not only pray for Israel but pray for our own nations.

God is taking note of individuals and nations who are cursing His people.

Leftists Complain That New House Speaker and His Son Hold Each Other Accountable for Online Viewing Habits

Like Old Testament Daniel, House Speaker Mike Johnson’s life is an open book for all the world to see. Read the article below to see how the Left reacts. They HATE people who submit to the precepts of God. Men can easily stumble through viewing the wrong things, and a father and son holding each other accountable is a beautiful thing, is it not? The Left despises this mindset and paints the Speaker and son as “creepy, etc.” This speaks volumes of their immoral worldview, and chagrin towards those who truly follow the Lord. Mike Johnson humiliates them. The Left’s motto is “everyone does it so just cover it up.” The light from Mike Johnson is exposing their darkness.

Amen and amen, Pastor Steve <><

Covenant Eyes is a subscription-based online service that offers monitoring solutions for device usage. By installing this program, users have their device activity tracked and shared with a chosen accountability partner. This service is frequently utilized by people seeking to overcome pornography addiction, providing them with a system of accountability for their online viewing habits.

Additionally, it serves as a tool for maintaining transparency for those who want to openly share their internet activity, preemptively addressing any potential accusations. It is particularly beneficial for people in roles of public trust, like politicians, and for those in spiritual or educational leadership, such as pastors and teachers, who are expected to adhere to higher ethical standards.

Yet, for leftists, holding each other accountable appears to be taboo. New House Speaker, Mike Johnson, used the software with his 17-year-old son, where they received weekly reports of each others online viewing. In a report at Rolling Stone, apparantly, this is unacceptable.

Rolling Stone posted the video by a Twitter user named Receipt Maven, complaining that because of this software, his dad might find out his son is watching porn—which, he wasn’t.

But it was actually the headline of the Rolling Stone article that drew the most ire from the left. The headline, as posted on Twitter, simply read “Mike Johnson Admits He and His Son Monitor Each Other’s Porn Intake in Resurfaced Video” leading many to think that they were actually regulating each other’s porn intake, rather than eliminating it altogether. These were the kind of responses from these leftist clowns:

Happy All Saints Day! Let’s Talk About the Martyrs Who Died at the Hands of the Catholic Church

Wycliffe burned at the stake

Today is All Saints’ Day, a day when Roman Catholics around the world pay homage to their canonized saints. But let’s shatter the usual narrative and cast the spotlight where it’s often deliberately avoided—on the indomitable Protestant martyrs who were gruesomely executed by the Roman Catholic Church. These were not mere dissenters or reformers—these were defenders of the gospel who chose excruciating death over compromising their convictions. And while the Roman Catholic Church would love for their stories to be discounted, wiped out, made into mere footnotes in religious history, the reality is that they are monumental testimonies to the enduring power of the Holy Spirit through faith in the face of relentless persecution.

Over the centuries, countless men and women have faced unspeakable horrors and brutal executions, most often at the hands of Roman Catholics, all because they dared to challenge a religious system they believed was corrupt and contrary to the teachings of Scripture. These certainly were not rabble-rousers or anarchists, these were men and women rooted in the Word of God, who held to their convictions with an unyielding resolve that should stir every believing heart.

The bloody era of the Reformation encapsulates the severity of what was at stake. Men like William Tyndale, who was strangled and burned at the stake, gave their lives so that the Bible could be read in the vernacular. Tyndale’s crime? Translating the Scriptures into English so that even the common plowboy could have access to God’s Word. He wasn’t doing this to try to undermine civil order. Rather, his mission was to ensure that the true gospel could be understood by the people, free from the convoluted doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church.

Then there was Hugh Latimer and Nicholas Ridley, burned alive in Oxford for their belief in the authority of Scripture over church traditions, the doctrine of justification by faith alone, and the rejection of papal authority. These were educated men who had much to lose in terms of earthly goods and reputation. Yet, when they were given the choice to recant these specific beliefs or die, they chose the latter. Why? Because they understood that allegiance to these core tenets of the gospel was far more important than sparing their earthly lives. Their deaths were not in vain but served as a roaring declaration that such foundational truths could not be suppressed.

John Huss, a predecessor to Martin Luther, met a similar fate. He was burned at the stake for heresy, a charge leveraged against him for his criticisms of the moral failings and theological errors within the Roman Catholic Church.

Jerome of Prague was not merely a close associate of John Huss but a compelling theologian and philosopher in his own right. He was a master of multiple languages and well-versed in both the Scriptures and the early church fathers. Having studied at the universities of Prague, Oxford, Paris, and Heidelberg, Jerome was an intellectual force to be reckoned with. He was deeply influenced by the teachings of John Wycliffe and his fellow countryman John Huss. Together with Huss, Jerome sought to reform the Roman Catholic Church, challenging its excesses, doctrinal errors, and unbiblical practices.

But Jerome’s brilliance and commitment to the gospel would put him on a collision course with the Roman Catholic hierarchy. He was arrested and charged with heresy, much like his friend Huss. Jerome initially recanted his views under the threat of execution but later revoked his recantation, unable to betray his conscience and the truths he found in the Scriptures. In 1416, about a year after the execution of John Huss, Jerome too was burned at the stake. But even as the flames rose around him, he did not waver. Jerome displayed remarkable courage and composure, reportedly singing a hymn—specifically, the liturgical Latin hymn known as the “Te Deum,” a hymn of praise to God—as he met his gruesome end…

Police arrested and detained several young people in Watertown, Wisconsin, on Saturday while they were preaching the gospel at a public drag queen event targeted toward children.

Video circulated on social media showing multiple police officers arresting Marcus Schroeder as he was reading from the Bible. One officer was recorded aggressively pulling a microphone out of his hands and walking him away in handcuffs. Nick Proell, another young Christian, was detained and removed from the venue but later released with a warning.

Jason Storms, who recorded the viral video, said in remarks provided to The Sentinel that the young people, who attend Mercy Seat Christian Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin, were some of more than 200 individuals from various groups assembled to protest the drag show.

“The police, per orders from city leaders, arrested several young people. Three were arrested earlier in the day while inside the park praying and talking to attendees, and then released with warnings,” said Storms, who serves as minister of evangelism at Mercy Seat Christian Church. “It was open to the public, thus the public’s right to free speech carries with them. One was arrested later in the day for preaching on the public sidewalk outside the venue and is being charged with unlawful use of sound amplification and resisting arrest.”

Schroeder said in an interview with The Sentinel that the incident has encouraged him and his fellow church members toward “further boldness,” noting that “the fight’s not just going to go away.”

“It was worth it. It’s actually an honor to be counted worthy to stand with the cloud of witnesses who have gone before us and been arrested for the sake of spreading Christ and his kingdom,” he said. “If the police wanted to try and set an example for others or anything like that, the only thing I’ve seen is actually the exact opposite, where more and more people are seeing the severity of what’s going on and being called to more action.”

Proell likewise told The Sentinel that he “absolutely” does not regret his detainment. “I’d do it all over again if it gives me an opportunity to share the good news and rescue innocent children being sexualized by their parents,” he said. “God will use it for good. We will stand for truth even if we stand alone.”

Storms added that there were several dozen police officers assembled to protect the drag queen event, during which performers dressed in lingerie were seen “dancing and gyrating in front of little children, who were invited to give them one dollar bills.” Wisconsin law forbids individuals from causing a minor to view or listen to “sexually explicit conduct.”

News of the drag event made national headlines as Nazi sympathizers, who were unaffiliated with the Christians preaching the gospel and the secular groups protesting the event, appeared at the performance. Wisconsin Democratic Governor Tony Evers denounced the Nazi presence but defended the occurrence of the show.

“LGBTQ Wisconsinites deserve to be treated with dignity, decency, kindness, and respect just like every other Wisconsinite,” he said. “They deserve to be safe being who they are without fear or threat of shame, harassment, intimidation, or violence.”

Storms affirmed to The Sentinel that the Christians at the event had “zero” affiliation with the Nazis, who he believes are likely from outside of Wisconsin. He added that the young people attempted to share the gospel with them in addition to the attendees of the drag queen event.

The Sentinel contacted Watertown Mayor Emily McFarland and Watertown Police Chief Robert Kaminski to ask about the nature of the charges against Schroeder, as well as whether the performers of the drag event would be charged for violating the statute against “sexually explicit conduct.” This article will be updated with any response.

Opinion: Utopia Unbound

by P. Andrew Sandlin

From the Beginning, God’s People Have Been Tortured, Ostracized, and Killed. Are We Next?

For centuries, the professing Church in America has basked in a cocoon of comfort and safety, protected by the constitutional promise of religious freedom and the tolerance of a nation that has largely shared the moral values of Christians. Our faith has existed untroubled, in an idyllic echo of early Christian Rome before Nero’s reign of terror. The experience of the American Christian, ensconced in peace and prosperity, has been a stark contrast to the oft-fiery trial of faith depicted in the scriptures and most of the Church’s history.

However, an unsettling shift is now palpable. The formerly mild climate is growing increasingly hostile towards Christians who, fearlessly and uncompromisingly, align themselves with biblical truth and morality. Observing the signs of the times, it is difficult to escape the conclusion that God appears to be lifting His restraining hand, allowing the societal forces of evil to gain momentum, while simultaneously refining His church and separating the sheep from the goats.

Hebrews 11:32-39, often referred to as the “Faith Hall of Fame,” chronicles the trials, tribulations, and triumphant faith of Old Testament saints. In this passage, the writer holds up a mirror with a startling reflection of the unfolding tribulations of the modern Christian church in America.

This exploration into the gritty realities of faith provides a strong reminder that the reward for true faith is not always immediate, not always earthly, and certainly not always pleasant. Initially, the passage celebrates the victories achieved through faith. Believers “conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Women received back their dead by resurrection.”

Yet, the narrative takes a turn, plunging into a stark chronicle of persecution. Many faced mockery, flogging, chains, and imprisonment. Sound familiar? They were stoned, sawn in two, and slain by the sword. They wandered in deserts, mountains, and caves, clothed in skins of sheep and goats. They were canceled.

This part of the text echoes with an eerie resonance. According to some extra-biblical traditions, the prophet Isaiah may have been the one who was sawn in half, though we cannot affirm this with absolute certainty. What is clear, however, is that these saints faced persecution with unflinching resolve, revealing the strength and substance of their faith.

Fast forward to our current era. Christians in America who hold fast to the exclusivity of Christ, adhere to a biblical sexual ethic, and boldly speak out against the onslaught of immorality, particularly concerning homosexuality, transgender ideology, and abortion rights, are finding themselves in the crosshairs of an increasingly secular and intolerant society.

The persecution faced by such Christians may not mirror the physical brutality depicted in Hebrews 11—at least, not yet. Still, we must understand that persecution takes many forms and that the modern forms we face today, in the context of our society, can be just as devastating. For example, being “canceled” or fired from a job because of one’s biblical convictions can wreak havoc on a family’s ability to provide food and shelter.

Social ostracization, particularly in our interconnected world, can inflict deep emotional and psychological wounds, leading to the same kind of despair that it seems many of the prophets of the Old Testament faced. To many, it can be as torturous as physical pain, as deadly as a sword—a pain that only the hope found in Christ can mitigate. In the face of such adversities, our society seems to have an unspoken message: ‘Conform, or bear the consequences.’ The vilification and marginalization of Christians, once unthinkable in America, is becoming a contemptible reality.

Nevertheless, as we stand on the precipice of this new era of persecution, we must not be overcome by fear or led into compromise. We are called to stand firm, as those saints of old, taking to heart the declaration of the Apostle Paul: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). In the midst of trials, we can find solace and strength in the unwavering promises of God.

The ultimate victory belongs to those who keep the faith, those who, like the heroes of Hebrews 11, valiantly persevere through the crucible of persecution. Our reward, beyond the confines of this temporal world, lies in the sovereignty of God, who transcends all earthly powers, orchestrates the unfolding of history, and stands immutable against the shifting tides of societal norms and trends.

Remember, as we face our own trials, the writer of Hebrews reminded us of these men and women of indomitable faith—they are our predecessors. They are our cloud of witnesses, their courage and fortitude illuminate our path forward, and their lives are a symphony of perseverance and faith that ring out from these pages of Scripture.

In our world, marked by turbulent change and shifting societal standards, our unwavering conviction and resolve become more than virtues; they become lifelines. As we step into the days ahead, we must face the storm not with trepidation but with a firm faith rooted in the infallible Word of God.

Our strength cannot lie in our own capabilities or personal strength but rather in our complete and utter reliance on God. As we walk through the valley of societal turmoil, hold fast to the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Do not lose hope, but lean into God’s strength and know that in our weakness, His power is magnified. Our faith will not merely survive but shine even more brightly in the darkness, reflecting the light of our Savior, our only hope in the storm. In the end, we are not called to conform to the world but to be separate, to stand against the sin and evil of the world, and remain committed to the truth of the Gospel and the power and grace of our Lord.
