2015 Second Orlando Prophecy Summit, Part 54

Dan Goodwin    ~    Interview / Hagmann & Hagmann

Dan wrote a book: “God’s Final Jubilee.”  Dan is a prolific author and an evangelist.  Dan once again explained that there were three major Sabbaths in the Bible.  The seven day Sabbath, the seven year Sabbath, and then the forty nine year Sabbath which is called the Jubilee.  (These Sabbath rests are explained in detail in Dan’s other presentations and classes in this conference).  Dan believes the Jubilee is an important concept in understanding Bible prophecy, since Christ is going to redeem planet earth.  A price has to be paid in order to redeem the earth.  Christ will hold the title deed.  “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.”

Dan believes there will be seventy Jubilees.  He commences his time clock about 1500 B.C. at the time of Moses.  The 3500 years since this date, divided by fifty, would make seventy Jubilees.  Dan has other mathematical computations, most which I will not include on this blog entry.  He believes, for instance, that the Biblical passage that says “one thousand years are as one day with the Lord” is to be taken literally, resulting in 7,000 years (one week) since creation.  Others believe in this interpretation as well.  This theory strongly implies that we are at the end of the “week,” and that our age is therefore nearly expired, and apocalyptic events are soon to occur.  I believe that scripture has nothing to do with prophecy, but tells us that time is nothing with our Eternal God.  God rests outside of time.  Dan believes 2015 is a Sabbatical Year, a Jubilee Year, and maybe even a final Jubilee Year.  He believed the Jubilee date could be in September, 2015 on the Day of Atonement.  He believed that end times eschatological events could have happened during this time.  As I write this in April, 2016, one can see that Dan’s dates are obviously wrong.

Dan then tied in the Levitical Feasts with the life of Jesus Christ.  The Seven Levitical Feasts are indeed indicative of major prophetical events.  These are also explained in great detail in Dan’s previous seminars covered on this blog site.  He said the “Blood Moons” are also synchronized with the feasts from Leviticus.  There is very little if any proof of this assertion.

I do not agree with a lot of Dan Goodwin’s eschatology.  He states that he is not a date setter and then he proceeds to set dates.  Perhaps he should run for political office.  He arrives at seventy Jubilees, and claims it could be the time for Christ’s return.  False prophet Harold Camping said 1994 would be a Jubilee of Jubilees (the fiftieth Jubilee) and he was wrong as well.  Interview hosts Doug and Joe Hagmann both appeared skeptical and a bit uneasy during the interview.  Then Dan Goodwin claimed the so called “blood moons” were prophetic, and were related to eschatological events and Christ’s coming.  The moon turning blood red, mentioned in Joel 2:31 and in Acts 2:20, has nothing to do with these eclipses that have occurred recently.  Since when are eclipses “blood moons”?  I have been blessed by nearly all of the teachers at this prophecy conference, yet Dan Goodwin is one teacher I would not desire to hear again.  I found his conclusions to be a mixture of truth and error.
