Dan Goodwin ~ 2520: God’s Prophetic Number
Dan Goodwin is a full time evangelist and prophecy teacher. Now, 99% of his ministry is Bible prophecy. His calling is to warn the saints that Jesus is coming back soon.
God sealed many truths until the time of the end.
Revelation 19: 9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Jesus returns at the end of the 70th week of Daniel, at the end of the Tribulation Period, on a white horse, carrying the title deed to the planet earth, He ends the battle of Armageddon, He comes to the Mount of Olives, goes through the Kidron Valley, and into the eastern gate of Jerusalem. Jesus starts the millennial reign, the kingdom age, and takes possession of the planet earth.
Dan went into a review of the seven Levitical feasts that are all in Leviticus 23. These feasts are all of the Lord, and are His prophetic calendar. Please refer to the 2015 Second Orlando Prophecy Summit, Part 52, also hosted by Dan Goodwin, for a review of these seven feasts. Dan Goodwin believes the Old Testament will last for 4,000 years, the New Testament will last for 2,000 years, and the millennium will last for 1,000 years for a total of 7,000 years.
Dan said he knew when Christ was coming. He is coming on the day appointed.
Dan revealed the law of the harvest as well, also on Part 52 of this conference. He reviewed three different calendars as well.
Dan believes that Revelation 4:1 is the rapture of the church. Many theologians agree with this view. He also believes the seven churches in Revelation 2 and 3 represent seven different church ages within the time of the church. [I do not agree with this understanding because the seven churches are seven ACTUAL churches. The Bible does not tell us that they represent seven different periods of history. When the Bible is silent, we should be also].
The Tribulation Period is not about us. It is about the 70th week of Daniel, the Holy City, the Tribulation and the children of Israel. Dan believes the rapture will happen during a new moon in the fall.
The purpose of the seven feasts is to prepare people to dwell with the Lord. These feasts also are indicative of prophetic events.
Dan reviewed the three major Sabbaths in the Bible and the Year of the Jubilee, also mentioned in Part 52. Dan then expounded on the seventy weeks of Daniel.
In the year of Jubilee, the land goes back to the original owner. Dan believes the next Jubilee will be the 70th Jubilee.
The Tribulation Period is not mentioned in the Bible as seven years. It is two halves of 42 months each. There are 1260 days in each half. There are 2520 days in the Tribulation Period. Dan believes Christ will come in the fall on the Day of Atonement on a white horse. He will return on the new moon. Christ’s return revolves around the barley harvests.
Dan then attempted to endorse 2520 as a significant prophetical number. I did not agree with his computations.
As summed up in Part 52, I thought that Dan Goodwin has a tremendous burden for Christ’s return and for the lost. He does a great job revealing the relevance of the Levitical feasts, the Sabbaths, and the Year of Jubilee with Bible prophecy. He is, however, too dogmatic for me, and skirts the issue of date setting, although he does not set an actual date.
