What Is Marriage?

One does not have to go deep into the scriptures in order to find what marriage is. Try chapter number two: Genesis 2:22-24. God said it all. ONE man and ONE woman until death parts them. “What God has joined together let no man put asunder.” “The marriage bed is undefiled but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” The United States of America was built on this truth so do not tell me it is possible to separate church and state. We were founded as a Christian nation and our laws say so! Today however, it is stylish to live together outside of wedlock, and the reason in my opinion that people do this is obviously because of rebellion against God, and also because they can easily cut the cord whenever they desire to end their relationship. The ultimate blasphemy of the church and our nation today, however, is sodomy. How peculiar that it is accepted by our nation even though there are a myriad of state laws against it. How strange that many denominations either ignore or accept it, and in my opinion, one is as bad as the other. “Gay marriage” is the consummate oxymoron. Please, please, please do not tell me that you were born gay. This idea does not come from the Bible but from Psycobabble 101 and Pseudoscience 201. I may as well say I am a born pedophile and I am sure that many have already said that as well. The ancients practiced sodomy and ALWAYS prior to judgment. Study the cities of Sodom, Gomorrah, Pompey and Heraculum. Study the emperors of Rome, the Greeks and Alexander the Great and a plethora of others. Interestingly even the ancients never came up with sodomite marriages because instinctively they knew it was not natural. But now fallen man is spitting in the face of God, and the Lord calls this decrepit lifestyle an abomination (Leviticus 18:22). Good night—even renegade/apostate Protestant churches have accepted mankind’s perversion over God’s word. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) accepts openly sodomite pastors! What else is there to blaspheme? Hey folks, if I read the times correctly, I think I will place my stock in Jesus rather than AT&T. It is darkest before the dawn. “………even so, come Lord Jesus.”
Maranatha, Pastor Steve
